Weapon Cores significantly boost your damage. However, especially the later-level Weapon Cores are difficult to get. So start with whatever weapon cores you have available. Weapon Cores drop in the Void Erosion Purge endgame activity.

Higher level Weapon Cores drop in the higher level Void Erosion Purge levels in The First Descendant. However, you can gradually work towards the highest level. I recommend trying to get to level six as soon as possible, since it won’t require clearing many stages and will already increase the power of your weapon tremendously.

Crime and Punishment Sword Lore

In Albion, the story of the mysterious assassin, Dravern, is told like a legend.

Over thirty years ago, Dravern appeared like a comet, eliminating those that tormented humanity every dawn before disappearing. He was hailed as a hero for assassinating numerous high-ranking members of the Vulgus, but his glory was short-lived. Everyone from a vicious Magister councilor to corrupt executives who amassed wealth by embezzling supplies had become his targets. After killing members of Albion, Dravern became a wanted criminal, vanishing without a trace.

Albion Headquarters officially denied Dravern’s existence, stating that no records of such a person could be found in any sources. Yet the dazzling flourishes of the twin blades named Punishment and Condemnation were regarded as a symbol of justice by the people at the time.

To replicate the iconic movements of Dravern, this weapon features a revamped rotational energy capture mechanism sourced from the power core of the Vulgus heavy armor, along with a compact acceleration engine. The energy produced by the rotation of the two blades is harnessed and merged with the Arche to enhance its destructive capabilities, or it can be swiftly unleashed via the acceleration engine integrated into the grip module, enabling quicker and more lethal consecutive strikes.

Some Magisters expressed their displeasure at its association with a weapon central to an outrageous tale that features the assassination of a councilor, yet even they could not deny that no other name perfectly captured the way this weapon operated.
