Table of Contents

Welcome to the 2H Stamina Necromancer Build for ESO. This build is optimized for group content such as dungeons, trials & arenas and has a very glass-cannon approach. The 2H Stamina Necromancer build is optimized for maximum damage. The build works best in a group but with some minor adjustments can also be played as a solo setup if necessary.

Stamina Necromancers are very powerful two-hander users which benefit a lot from Necromancer passives and skills. Passives such as Death Knell, Rapid Rot and Undead Confederate help a lot with damage and sustain. Powerful skills like Detonating Siphon, Skeletal Archer and Blighted Blastbones deal insane damage. And the Necros favorite ultimate Pestilent Colossus increases the damage of the whole group, a must have!

  • Two Hander & Bow Setup
  • Insane Single Target (ST) Damage
  • Insane Area of Effect (AoE) Damage
  • Crazy Splash Damage
  • Dungeon, Trial & Arena Build

It is also recommended to read the Stamina Necromancer Beginner Guide if you are a new player. You can find more Necromancer Builds & Guides in the Necromancer category of the website.

Skills explanation:

  • Blighted Blastbones: Your main semi spammable ability.
  • Barbed Trap: We activate this once per rotation, gives us Minor Force, increasing our Critical Damage done by 10%.
  • Wrecking Blow: Your main Single Target spammable. (You can also use Venom Skull here if you want)
  • Reverse Slice: Your execute ability, use this at around 25% instead of Wrecking Blow
  • Detonating Siphon: Deals a lot of damage both Single Target and AoE.
  • Pestilent Colossus: Your Ultimate, activate this to gain a huge damage boost.
  • Endless Hail: Very powerful Single Target and AoE ability.
  • Skeletal Archer: This is your summon, keep it up all the times because it gives you extra Physical Penetration, extra Stamina Recovery and damage.
  • Necrotic Potency: Use this when there is corpses nearby, to regain a lot of Ultimate points.
  • Detonating Siphon: This is again slotted only for the extra 3% damage boost it passively gives.
  • Resolving Vigor: Your healing ability.

Important Info – 2h Stamina Necromancer Build

Buff-food

We use the Lava Foot Soup and Saltrice buff food which provides us with Max Stamina and Stamina Recovery. Because we don’t gain health from it, we have 20 points in the health attribute.

(Max Stamina, Stamina Recovery)

Mundus Stone

The Shadow (Increased Critical Damage)

Race

Any race with stamina based perks works for this setup. If you want a complete overview of all races and racial passives, then I recommend checking out the ESO Races Overview page.

Khajiit
Dark Elf
Nord
Redguard
Wood Elf
Imperial
High Elf

Potions

Potions are an important part of the 2H Stamina Necromancer build, they apply very powerful buffs and extra resources to your character. Potions benefit from the Alchemy passive Medicinal Use, make sure to always have that passive active.

Weapon Crit Potions
(Weap dmg, Weap Crit, Stamina)
(Blessed Thistle, Dragonthorn, Wormwood)

Essence of Weapon Power Potion ESO

Poisons

Poisons increase your overall damage, therefore they are also an important part of the build. However, they are less important than potions.

Damage Health Poison
(Damage Poison, Damage Poison)
(Fleshfly Larva, Nightshade, Nirnroot)

Attributes

20 Health, 44 Stamina

Resource Management

Keeping up the Skeletal Archer will allow you to have the Undead Confederate passive up a 100% of the time. Make sure to activate potions on cooldown to keep up the recovery passives and make sure to use the right food, that way we can almost reach 1950 Stamina Recovery which should be enough to sustain. In case you still have trouble, you can also do heavy attacks to restore stamina.

  • Undead Confederate
  • Lava Foot and Saltrice Soup Food
  • Heavy Attacks
  • Potions

Rotation – 2H Stamina Necromancer Build

  • BB = Blighted Blastbones
  • LA = Light Attack

Area of Effect Setup – 2H Stamina Necromancer Build

The AoE setup of the 2H Stamina Necromancer Build is more straight forward. Trash packs don’t live for a very long time, anything that provides us with extra burst damage is useful, therefore we use sets like Mechanical Acuity and New Moon Acolyte as well as the very powerful Perfected Titanic Cleave.
