Introduction

Welcome to the Stamina Necromancer 2H Build PvE “Cleave” for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO. The Stamina Necromancer DPS 2H Build “Cleave” is optimized for Dungeons, Arenas & Trials.

If you are new to the game I highly recommend checking out the Stamina Necromancer Beginner Guide. Make sure to also check out the Bow and Dual Wield Build!

This build is made for a Necromancer Two Hander setup. It is a pretty standard endgame setup that can also easily be transformed into Dual Wield or Bow if you wish to do so. Like always, we are using a pretty standard endgame setup with Perfected Tooth of LokkestiizArms of Relequen and Velidreth.

  • Two Hander & Bow setup
  • High single target (ST) damage
  • High area of effect (AoE) damage
  • Crazy splash damage
  • Shield on trash fights
  • Dungeon, Arena  & Trial Build

Changes from the previous version

Updated the sets, we are using an 2H Axe now and a Master’s Bow for single target.

Resource Management

  • Keeping up the Skeletal Archer will allow you to have the Undead Confederate passive up a 100% of the time. Make sure to activate potions on cooldown to keep up the recovery passives and make sure to use the right food, that way we can almost reach 1950 Stamina Recovery which should be enough to sustain. In case you still have trouble, you can also do heavy attacks to restore stamina.

Dungeons & Trial Setup

  • Unbuffed: Out of combat
  • Buffed: Raid Dummy Buffs, Weapon Damage Enchant, Archer and Potion were active, Orc with Lava Foot Soup and Saltrice Food.

Gear

You will find 3 different setups here. Setup 1 is the preferred setup. For people that do not have all the gear yet can use the Setup 2 which is easier to obtain and beginners can use Setup 3.

  • Setup 1 is with Trial Gear
  • Setup 2 is without Trial Gear
  • Setup 3 is for Beginners

There are a lot of good Stamina Sets available, you can find more viable stamina dps sets in this Stamina DPS Sets Article. I also elaborate on specific sets that are often used in this article to give you a bit more insight as to why they are used.

Gear Setup 2

This setup is fairly easy to get and also very strong. I recommend it to people that did not yet have the chance to get Trial gear.

Gear Setup 3 Beginner

This setup is for new players. You want to craft 5x Hundings Rage with the weapon that you can use again later on, 4x Night Mother’s because it has nice stats and then Agility set for more max stamina and weapon damage, all of those are either craftable or cheap to find in the guildstores.

Stampede is also a nice skill that deals really good damage. However, it works kinda wonky and re-positions you if you fight against big monsters, that can lead to you being pushed back into AoEs etc, so if you want to use it, be careful.

Rotation & Target Dummy

Rotation

You want to make sure to use 3 Blighted Blastbones per rotation on the frontbar.

Arrow Barrage > LA > Barbed Trap > LA > Poison Injection > LA > Soul Splitting Trap > Weapon Swap

LA > BB > LA > Carve > LA > Skeletal Archer > LA > BB > 2x Venom Skull (with LA) > BB > LA > Weapon Swap

Restart

  • LA = Light Attack
  • BB = Blighted Blastbomes
  • At 30%, instead of Venom Skull use Reverse Slice as execute ability

Area of Effect Setup

This setup is made for AoE damage, it is meant for trash packs. During trash packs you can usually not debuff the monsters as good as on boss fights, therefore we are using Twice-Fanged Serpent to get more physical penetration and the Titanic Cleave for a huge AoE damage boost thanks.

Instead of Barbed Trap we are using Channeled Acceleration to prebuff us with Minor Force before we attack the trash packs. We are also using Necrotic Potency to increase our Ultimate Regeneration by a lot!
