Introduction

Welcome to the Stamina Necromancer 2H Build PvE “Cleave” for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO. The Stamina Necromancer DPS 2H Build “Cleave” is optimized for Dungeons, Arenas & Trials. You can also find plenty of other Stamina Necromancer content on the website such as:

Other Stamina Necromancer Guides:

This build is made for a Necromancer Two Hander setup. It is a pretty standard endgame setup that can also easily be transformed into Dual Wield or Bow if you wish to do so. Like always, we are using a pretty standard endgame setup with Berserking Warrior, Arms of Relequen and Selene.

  • Two Hander & Bow setup
  • High single target (ST) damage
  • High area of effect (AoE) damage
  • Crazy splash damage
  • Shield on trash fights
  • Dungeon, Arena  & Trial Build

Changes from the previous version

Major Vulnerability can now be kept up a 100% of the time again and doesn’t have a cooldown. But the modifier took a hit from 25% to now being 10% but it will also last longer now.

Frozen Colossus:

  • Removed this Ultimate and the morphs’ Major Vulnerability invulnerability.
  • Increased the duration of Major Vulnerability applied from these to 12 seconds per hit, up from 8. This will increase the total duration to 15 seconds per cast.
    • Major Vulnerability: Decreased to 10%, down from 25%.

Resource Management

Keeping up the Skeletal Archer will allow you to have the Undead Confederate passive up a 100% of the time. Make sure to activate potions on cooldown to keep up the recovery passives and make sure to use the right food, that way we can almost reach 1950 Stamina Recovery which should be enough to sustain. In case you still have trouble, you can also do heavy attacks to restore stamina.

Dungeons & Trial Setup

Gear

You will find 3 different setups here. Setup 1 is the preferred setup. For people that do not have all the gear yet can use the Setup 2 which is easier to obtain and beginners can use Setup 3.

  • Setup 1 is with Trial Gear
  • Setup 2 is without Trial Gear
  • Setup 3 is for Beginners

There are a lot of good Stamina Sets available, you can find more viable stamina dps sets in this Stamina DPS Sets Article. I also elaborate on specific sets that are often used in this article to give you a bit more insight as to why they are used.

Gear Setup 3 Beginner

This setup is for new players. You want to craft 5x Hundings Rage with the weapon that you can use again later on, 4x Night Mother’s because it has nice stats and then Agility set for more max stamina and weapon damage, all of those are either craftable or cheap to find in the guildstores.

Skills explanation:

  • Blighted Blastbones: Your main semi spammable ability.
  • Barbed Trap: We activate this once per rotation, gives us Minor Force, increasing our Critical Damage done by 10%.
  • Wrecking Blow: Your main Single Target spammable. (You can also use Venom Skull here if you want)
  • Reverse Slice: Your execute ability, use this at around 25% instead of Wrecking Blow
  • Detonating Siphon: Deals a lot of damage both Single Target and AoE.
  • Pestilent Colossus: Your Ultimate, activate this to gain a huge damage boost.
  • Endless Hail: Very powerful Single Target and AoE ability.
  • Skeletal Archer: This is your summon, keep it up all the times because it gives you extra Physical Penetration, extra Stamina Recovery and damage.
  • Necrotic Potency: Use this when there is corpses nearby, to regain a lot of Ultimate points.
  • Detonating Siphon: This is again slotted only for the extra 3% damage boost it passively gives.
  • Resolving Vigor: Your healing ability.

Area of Effect Setup

The AoE setup is more straight forward. Trash packs don’t live for a very long time, anything that provides super burst damage will be useful!
