Table of Contents
Welcome to the 2H Stamina Necromancer Build for ESO. This build is optimized for group content such as dungeons, trials & arenas and has a very glass-cannon approach. The 2H Stamina Necromancer build is optimized for maximum damage. The build works best in a group but with some minor adjustments can also be played as a solo setup if necessary.
Stamina Necromancers are very powerful two-hander users which benefit a lot from Necromancer passives and skills. Passives such as Death Knell, Rapid Rot and Undead Confederate help a lot with damage and sustain. Powerful skills like Detonating Siphon, Skeletal Archer and Blighted Blastbones deal insane damage. And the Necros favorite ultimate Pestilent Colossus increases the damage of the whole group, a must have!
- Two Hander & Bow Setup
- Insane Single Target (ST) Damage
- Insane Area of Effect (AoE) Damage
- Crazy Splash Damage
- Dungeon, Trial & Arena Build
It is also recommended to read the Stamina Necromancer Beginner Guide if you are a new player. You can find more Necromancer Builds & Guides in the Necromancer category of the website.

Important Info – 2h Stamina Necromancer Build
Buff-food
We use the Lava Foot Soup and Saltrice buff food which provides us with Max Stamina and Stamina Recovery. Because we don’t gain health from it, we have 20 points in the health attribute.
Lava Foot Soup and Saltrice Food
(Max Stamina, Stamina Recovery)
Mundus Stone
The Shadow (Increased Critical Damage)
Race
Any race with stamina based perks works for this setup. If you want a complete overview of all races and racial passives, then I recommend checking out the ESO Races Overview page.
Orc
Khajiit
Dark Elf
Nord
Redguard
Wood Elf
Imperial
High Elf
Potions
Potions are an important part of the 2H Stamina Necromancer build, they apply very powerful buffs and extra resources to your character. Potions benefit from the Alchemy passive Medicinal Use, make sure to always have that passive active.
Weapon Crit Potions
(Weap dmg, Weap Crit, Stamina)
(Blessed Thistle, Dragonthorn, Wormwood)
Poisons
Poisons increase your overall damage, therefore they are also an important part of the build. However, they are less important than potions.
Damage Health Poison
(Damage Poison, Damage Poison)
(Fleshfly Larva, Nightshade, Nirnroot)
Passives
- Grave Lord: Reusable Parts, Death Knell, Dismember, Rapid Rot

20 Health, 44 Stamina
Resource Management
Keeping up the Skeletal Archer will allow you to have the Undead Confederate passive up a 100% of the time. Make sure to activate potions on cooldown to keep up the recovery passives and make sure to use the right food, that way we can almost reach 1950 Stamina Recovery which should be enough to sustain. In case you still have trouble, you can also do heavy attacks to restore stamina.

The “Weaving Beginner Guide” explains how to weave light attacks between abilities, aka animation canceling.
Area of Effect Setup – 2H Stamina Necromancer Build
The AoE setup of the 2H Stamina Necromancer Build is more straight forward.
