Welcome to the Magicka Warden Build PvP “Frostcloak” for ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO.

The Magicka Warden PvP Build is optimized for Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds. This setup uses a light armor build optimized for high damage and mobility. We have a really nice health pool and a lot of max magicka. We are using the Necropotence, Bright-Throat’s Boast and Kjalnar’s Nightmare Monster set for this build.

Cyrodiil Setup Magicka Warden PVP Build

Now let’s take a look at how you can create the Magicka Warden PVP Build for ESO. If you follow this guide you won’t have any problems recreating the setup.

5x Necropotence, 5x Bright-Throat’s Boast, 2x Kjalnar on a Breton with Spring-Loaded Infusion drink buff food.

• Unbuffed: Out of combat, buff food active
• Buffed: In combat, buff food, Weapon Damage Enchantment, Tri-Stat Potion, Blue Betty active.

Where can I get the gear?

Necropotence: Rivenspire Overland
Bright-Throat’s Boast: Murkmire Overland
Kjalnar’s Nightmare: vUnhallowed Grave, Undaunted Enclave

Skills Magden PVP Build

Skills Explanation:

• Fetcher Infection: Very strong Damage over Time effect that needs to be on the enemy all the time. Also applies Minor Vulnerability to the enemy, increasing the damage taken.
• Deep Fissure: This is your main burst damage ability. Deals a lot of upfront AoE damage, if you are on the offense, use this every 3rd ability. Also applies Major Breach, reducing enemy resistance.
• Crushing Shock: Your main spammable along Deep Fissure, deals good damage and can also interrupt casting enemies. You could use the other morph if you want.
• Shimmering Shield: This is one of the most powerful tools that you have access to, basically making ranged enemies useless against you, this can be re-applied all the time and absorbs most ranged attacks plus it gives you Major Heroism, increase your Ultimate regeneration by a lot.
• Bird of Prey: Passively gives more damage via the Minor Berserk buff and when activated applies a speed buff called Major Expedition.
• Permafrost: Decent Damage over Time Ultimate, also heavily snares enemies. You also gain Major Protection, reducing incoming damage. You can slot other damage ultimates here if you want more range. For example, Ice Comet.
• Ice Fortress: Applies Major Resolve increasing resistances and applies extra damage mitigation through Minor Protection.
• Harness Magicka: Your main defense ability, as long as you keep this up enemies can not touch your health. When you drop low it is important to keep this up alongside Healing Ward.
• Healing Ward: When you are very low on health, use this because it applies a big shield to you.
• Living Trellis: Your main heal, one very important thing, if you are not full health but you have a shield on yourself, the Trellis heal will still proc and heal you up!
• Blue Betty: Here for sustain, also applies the Major Sorcery buff, increasing your spell damage.
• Life Giver: This is your defensive ultimate, if you are under high pressure, activate it.

The Spring-Loaded Infusion buff food works well together with our Bright-Throat’s Boast set.

Mundus Stone

We are using The Mage Mundus Stone with this setup to further increase our max magicka. Alternatively, you could also use THe Atronach to increase your magicka recovery. You can learn more about all the other Mundus Stones on the Mundus Stone Overview Page.

Make sure to use Tri-Stat Potions with this setup, it provides you with the resources you need. You can use the crafted or crown store version of the potion.

Make sure to not forget the Medicinal Use passive from the Alchemy Skill tree as it is one of the most important passives and many people forget to activate it.

20 Health, 44 Magicka, 0 Stamina

Resource Management Magicka Warden PVP BUild

As long as we keep up Blue Betty we will almost never have sustain issues on this setup. You can also do heavy attacks on the Resto Staff bar to regain a lot of magicka. You can also use your potion to get an instant 7000 magicka on top of other useful stats.
