Introduction
Welcome to the Werewolf Build PvE “Claws” for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO. This build is optimized for Dungeons & Trials gameplay!
This page here is designed to hold the Werewolf PvE Build “Claws” for all classes. You will find different sections for each class, as you can see in the table of contents. You will see that the Gear is the same for all classes for a Werewolf setup, same for Champion Points.
The main thing that changes with a different class is the human form aspects. Which means each class has different skills and passives at their disposal, which I will showcase in the class section, so you know how to set your character up in human form.
- Werewolf DPS Build for ALL Classes
- Optimized for Dungeons & Trials
- Dual Wield, Bow and Sharp Claws
- Medium Armor

Werewolf Setup & Skills
In case you drop low on Stamina, you can always use Heavy Attacks to restore Stamina.
Skills
Werewolf |
---|
Slot 1: Brutal Pounce |
Slot 2: Hircine’s Rage |
Slot 3: Howl of Agony |
Slot 4: Ferocious Roar |
Slot 5: Claws of Life |
Ultimate: Berserker |
Skill Explanation
- Light Attacks: Light Attacks should always be used between abilities, they deal a lot of damage and apply a bleed damage over time effect on the enemy.
- Brutal Pounce: You have to use this to keep up the Brutal Carnage passive 6x stack, reapply it before it runs out to keep up the extra weapon damage.
- Hircine’s Rage: Gives you Major Brutality, 20% Weapon Damage buff and also restores Stamina if you are at full health on top of giving 25% more damage through Major Berserk.
- Howl of Agony: Your main spammable, deals more damage if you face an enemy.
- Ferocious Roar: Gives you Major Savagery, 12% Weapon Critical buff and also increases the speed of your Heavy Attacks.
- Claws of Life: This is a very strong damage over time effect and also heals you. If you apply this to 3 or more enemies, you will gain a lot of healing on you.
- Berserker: We choose this morph because the bleed we get deals a lot of damage.
Resource Management
Heavy Attacks restore a lot of extra resources, even more so because a Werewolf benefits from the Pursuit passive.
Potions are also another important tool that you want to always use when you are low on Stamina!
- Heavy Attacks
- Heavy Attacks extra sustain Werewolf
- Potions
Rotation
The rotation can be best showcased in this video here. Most important is that you want to keep up the Brutal Carnage passive from the Brutal Pounce skill, to benefit from the Weapon Damage bonus all the time.
