Welcome to the ESO Stamina Arcanist PVP Build “Gaze” for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO.
The Stamina Arcanist Build PvP is made for Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds. The setup is very tanky and focuses on high burst damage, fully buffed we sit at approx. 7700 Weapon damage and have a high penetration value to ignore enemy’s resistance.
To achieve this, we use three sets that focus on stacking damage, Clever Alchemist, Spriggan’s Thorns and Balorgh. In addition, we also use Spectral Cloak on the backbar in combination with Deadly Cloak to increase our damage once again and also increase our damage mitigation.
All combined we have great mobility, high damage mitigation and high burst damage.

Cyrodiil Setup ESO Stamina Arcanist PVP Build
Now let’s take a look at how you can build the Stamina Arcanist PVP Build for ESO.
5x Alchemist, 5x Spriggan’s Thorns, 2x Balorgh on an Orc with Orzorga buff food.
- Unbuffed: Out of combat, buff food active
- Buffed: Alchemist proc, Potion and Balorgh proc active.
Gear Setup 1
- 5-2 Setup: We are using a 5-2 setup, 5 pieces heavy and 2 medium.
- Our Dual Wield bar is for defense and healing and our Two hander bar is for offense.
- Offensive Bar: Two-hander bar has all damage sets active.
- Defensive Bar: Dual Wield bar has Spectral Cloak active for max damage mitigation while we rebuff/heal.
- Monster Set: You can replace Balorgh with another Monster Set if you want.

Skills explanation:
- Race Against Time: When activated, removes all immovability and snares on you. Also gives you Major Expedition and Minor Force buff, increasing speed and crit damage.
- Critical Rush: Gap closer that makes chasing enemies easy and also deals good damage.
- Wrecking Blow: Your main spammable, deals insane damage and also adds Major Berserk buff to you. If you prefer you can use the other morph too.
- Cephaliarch’s Flail: Deals good damage in combination with Recuperative Treatise and also gives you a 5% damage boost on the target. Deals more damage on low health enemies.
- Recuperative Treatise: Deals damage and also restores resources.
- Dawnbreaker of Smiting: Powerful AoE damage and stun ultimate.
- Deadly Cloak: Deals good DoT damage and also gives you Major Evasion (Reduced AoE damage)
- Rune of the Colorless Pool: Stuns the enemy and also applies Minor Vulnerability and Minor Brittle to the enemy. Increasing their damage taken and Critical Damage taken.
- Resolving Vigor: Your main heal, keep it always up when you are under pressure, if this falls off you will have issues.
- Tidal Chakram: Applies a shield to yourself, protecting you from damage. This is your flex spot, you can replace this with something else you want.
- Unbreakable Fate: Applies Major Resolve to you, increasing your resistance by a lot. Applies Minor Breach to enemies, reducing their resistance.
- The Tide King’s Gaze: Your main ultimate, adds a lot of extra pressure over time on the enemy target.

The ESO Scribing System offers plenty of adjustable skills to add to our build. You can test out the skills below and see if they work for you. They are mostly here to annoy the enemy by stunning or immobilizing them.

- Two Handed: Smash (Repelling Smash)
- World: Soul Burst (Leashing Burst)
Repelling Smash
Smash turns into Repelling Smash scribing skill, knocks enemies back and stuns them. Additionally, it also immobilizes them and interrupts their casting. Especially the stun and immobilization combo is super annoying to deal with. You get stunned, then you have to break free and you are still stuck in place.

Leashing Burst
Wield Soul turns into Leashing Burst. After 2 seconds, this pulls enemies to you within 8 meters. Also applies Oblivion damage to any enemy hit and interrupts their casting. You can change Interrupt to something else if you want. The main appeal of the skill is to pull enemies in after 2 seconds and then hit them and attack them with our combo.

Important Info for Stamina Arcanist Build PvP
Buff-food
It is recommended to either pick the Lava Foot Soup and Slatrice or the Orzorga buff food. The first one will provide you with more Stamina and Stamina Recovery. Whereas the second focuses more on health and overall recovery bonus boost.

Mundus Stone
To boost our damage even further, we are going to use the Warrior Mundus Stone for extra Weapon Damage. However, you can choose pretty much any Mundus Stone that you like. You can learn more about all the other Mundus Stones on the Mundus Stone Overview Page.

Resource Management – ESO Stamina Arcanist PVP
The Recuperative Treatise skill restores Magicka and Stamina whenever we deal damage with the Cephaliarch’s Flail skill, 5 second cooldown.
The Hideous Clarity and Erudition passive both help with sustain on the Arcanist.
Heavy Attacks are a great tool to regain resources too, every time you do a Heavy Attack you regain around 3000 Stamina.
Potions are another great way to restore resources, once you activate the potion you regain around 7500 Stamina and 9000 Health, if you use the potion I recommend it in the potion section of the build.

Our built-in sustain comes from the Orzorga or Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice buff food in addition with 1 Stamina Recovery glyph on the jewelry. If you feel like you need more sustain, you can also add more Recovery glyphs on the jewelry.
Battlegrounds Stamina Arcanist PVP Build
In Battlegrounds Champion Points are deactivated, therefore we need to focus more on sustain than before. We are changing our Increased Physical Harm enchants out with more sustain glyphs on the jewelry.
