Introduction

Welcome to the Stamina Templar Build PvP “Abyss” for Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO.

The Stamina Templar Build PvP “Abyss” is made for Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds. The setup is really tanky and focuses on burst damage, fully buffed we sit at almost 6500 Weapon damage and a lot of penetration to destroy enemies.

To achieve this, we use three sets that focus on stacking damage, Clever Alchemist, New Moon Acolyte and Balorgh. In addition, we also use Spectral Cloak on the backbar in combination with Quick Cloak to increase our damage once again and also increase our damage mitigation. When we activate Quick Cloak we also gain 30% speed buff for a short duration.

  • Cyrodiil & Battlegrounds
  • Heavy Armor 2H/ Dual Wield Setup
  • Crazy Burst Damage
  • Crazy High Mobility
  • Strong Healing
  • Good Sustain

Changes from the previous version

Redesigned the setup.

  • Changed the gear.
  • Changed the Champion Points.
  • Changed the buff food.
  • Changed the skills.
  • Updated the resource management section.

Resource Management

The Restoring Focus has to always be active to increase your Stamina return and resistances. It has a 20 second duration so it is fairly easy to keep up.

Repentance can be used to drain dead bodies to get a huge Stamina and Health boost and it is free of cost.

Heavy Attacks are a great tool to regain resources too, every time you do a Heavy Attack you regain around 3000 Stamina.

Potions are another great way to restore resources, once you activate the potion you regain around 7500 Stamina and 9000 Health, if you use the potion I recommend in the potion section of the build.

  • Restoring Focus
  • Repentance
  • Heavy Attacks
  • Potions

Our built in sustain comes from the Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice buff food in addition with 1 Stamina Recovery glyph on the jewelry. If you feel like you need more sustain, you can also add more Recovery glyphs on the jewelry.

Slot 5: Binding JavelinSlot 5: Resolving Vigor
Ultimate: Dawnbreaker of SmitingUltimate: Remembrance

Skills explanation:

  • Rally: Gives Major Brutality 20% weapon damage buff, also heals you when the effect ends.
  • Camouflaged Hunter: This is a flex spot, you can use another ability here if you want. This will give you Minor Berserk 8% more overall damage.
  • Biting Jabs: Your main spammable, when you activate it you gain 10% weapon critical, snare the enemy and deal a lot of damage. Also procs the Burning Light passive.
  • Power of the Light: Apply this on the enemy and after 6 seconds it will explode, can be used for a nice burst combo.
  • Binding Javelin: This is also a flex spot, you could also slot a gap closer here if you want. Binding Javelin is a ranged attack that also stuns the enemy.
  • Dawnbreaker of Smiting: Powerful AoE damage and stun ultimate.
  • Ritual of Retribution: Cleanses up to 2 negative effect and also heals for quite a bit when you are standing in it. Also deals damage and snares the enemy.
  • Restoring Focus: Our main sustain tool, also increases our resistances by a lot.
  • Quick Cloak: Deals damage and this is your mobility tool, gives Major Expedition for 4 seconds, 30% speedbuff.
  • Resolving Vigor: Your main heal, keep it always up when you are under pressure, if this falls off you will have issues.
  • Remembrance: Your defensive ultimate, if you are under a lot of pressure. Heals you for a lot and increases damage mitigation while it is active.

Always weave light or heavy attacks between abilities, you can find a guide here: “Weaving Beginner Guide”.
