Welcome to the Stamina Templar Build PvP “Abyss” for ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the build for each new Update of ESO.
The Stamina Templar Build PvP “Abyss” is made for Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds. The setup is super tanky and focuses on high burst damage, fully buffed we sit at almost 9000 Weapon damage and have a high penetration value to ignore most of the enemy’s resistance in combat.
To achieve this, we use three sets that focus on stacking weapon damage, Clever Alchemist, New Moon Acolyte and Balorgh. In addition, we also use Spectral Cloak on the backbar in combination with Quick Cloak to increase our damage once again, this also increases our damage mitigation and speed. When we activate Quick Cloak we gain a 30% speed buff for a short duration that can be helpful to catch up to enemies or escape.

Backbar Ultimate: If you want you can slot a more offensive ultimate on the backbar.
Two Hander Mainbar | Dual Wield bar |
---|---|
Slot 1: Rally | Slot 1: Extended Ritual |
Slot 2: Camouflaged Hunter | Slot 2: Restoring Focus |
Slot 3: Biting Jabs | Slot 3: Quick Cloak |
Slot 4: Power of the Light | Slot 4: Repentance |
Slot 5: Binding Javelin | Slot 5: Resolving Vigor |
Ultimate: Dawnbreaker of Smiting | Ultimate: Remembrance |
Skills explanation:
- Rally: Gives Major Brutality weapon damage buff, Minor Endurance which boosts recovery and also heals you when the effect ends.
- Camouflaged Hunter: This is a flex spot, you can use another ability here if you want. Applies Major Savagery and Minor Berserk buff, this is only passively slotted.
- Biting Jabs: Your main spammable, when you activate it you gain weapon damage via Major Brutality (same as Rally), snare the enemy and deal a lot of damage. Also procs the Burning Light passive.
- Power of the Light: Apply this on the enemy and after 6 seconds it will explode, can be used for a nice burst combo.
- Binding Javelin: Great ranged ability which cannot be blocked and also ignores enemy resistance.
- Dawnbreaker of Smiting: Powerful AoE damage and stun ultimate.
- Extended Ritual: Cleanses negative effects and heals.
- Restoring Focus: Our main sustain tool also increases our resistances by a lot via the Major Resolve buff.
- Quick Cloak: Deals damage and this is your mobility tool, gives Major Expedition for 4 seconds, a 30% speed buff.
- Resolving Vigor: Your main heal, keep it always up when you are under pressure, if this falls off you will have issues.
- Remembrance: Your defensive ultimate, if you are under a lot of pressure. Heals you a lot and increases damage mitigation while it is active.
Always weave light or heavy attacks between abilities, you can find more info on that here: “Weaving Beginner Guide”.

Resource Management – ESO Stamina Templar PVP
The Restoring Focus has to always be active to increase your Stamina return and resistance. It has a 20-second duration so it is fairly easy to keep up.
Repentance can be used to drain dead bodies to get a huge Stamina and Health boost and it is free of cost.
Heavy Attacks are a great tool to regain resources too, every time you do a Heavy Attack you regain around 3000 Stamina.
Potions are another great way to restore resources, once you activate the potion you regain around 7500 Stamina and 9000 Health, if you use the potion I recommend in the potion section of the build.
- Restoring Focus
- Repentance
- Heavy Attacks
- Potions
Our built-in sustain comes from the Lava Foot Soup-and-Saltrice buff food in addition to 1 Stamina Recovery glyph on the jewelry. If you feel like you need more sustain, you can also add more Recovery glyphs on the jewelry.
Battlegrounds Stamina Templar PVP Build
In Battlegrounds Champion Points are deactivated, therefore we need to focus more on sustain than before. We are changing our Weapon Damage enchants out with more sustain glyphs on the jewelry.
