Welcome to the best Rebecca Build for Cyberpunk 2077 (Patch 2.31). Rebecca is one of the more popular characters in Cyberpunk Edgerunners. This build will stay true to her identity as the crew’s unpredictable, trigger-happy gunner with her iconic Guts shotgun and oversized cyber-arms.
The Rebecca Build pairs the Guts shotgun, Adrenaline Rush sustain, and Gorilla Arms to obliterate enemies at point-blank range in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Overview
This Cyberpunk 2077: Rebecca Build focuses on dealing insane close-range damage with shotguns, staying alive through massive health regen and Adrenaline Rush, and stacking so much chrome that you regularly trigger Edgerunner’s Fury mode.
Rebecca does not run a Sandevistan, a Berserk or a Cyberdeck, so we use the Operating System slot for raw Cyberware Capacity instead.
Attributes – Rebecca Build (Edgerunners)
Distributing Attributes correctly for the Rebecca Shotgun Build is important. Attributes dictate the direction of the build and give access to different tiers of perks depending on how many points you invest in each category.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build’s Attributes are spread out between Body,
Technical Ability,
Cool, and
Reflexes.
Intelligence takes a back seat here. As we know from the Edgerunners anime, Rebecca is not exactly the brightest bulb in the room.
Rebecca Start Attributes
At the start of the game, select the following Attribute allocation to give us the optimal start for the Rebecca Build (Edgerunners) in Cyberpunk 2077.

Max Level Attributes
At max level, you want to have the following distribution of Attributes for the Rebecca Shotgun Build for Cyberpunk 2077:
20 Body
20 Technical Ability
20 Cool
18 Reflexes
3 Intelligence
Reflexes only needs 15 for everything this build uses. If you prefer Assault Rifles, you can swap to 20 Reflexes and 18 Cool to unlock Salt in the Wound, at the cost of Nerves of Tungsten-Steel.
Perks – Rebecca Build Cyberpunk 2077
In this section of the Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build (Shotgun), I will explain the perks that we use for each attribute.
Perk Points: To get perk points, you can either simply level up or farm Perk Shards. Read our guide on all 13 Perk Shard Locations in Cyberpunk 2077, with map locations, screenshots, and the nearest fast travel point for each shard.
Spare Points: The bold perks are the core of the build, so pick them up before the non-bold ones. While you are still leveling, go with whatever you need the most. For example, if you run around with a shotgun all the time, grab the shotgun perks first.
Body Perks
The Body Perk-Tree is the heart of the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077. The left side powers up Shotguns, LMGs and HMGs, while the central side gives us health regen and Adrenaline Rush. Max Body out to 20 so we can get the perks at the top.
Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.
Level 4 Perks
The level 4 perks are all base health regen. They stack on top of each other and let Rebecca stay in the open instead of hiding behind cover.
Level 9 Perks
Level 9 opens the shotgun and machine gun branch on the left side of the tree. These perks are what make Guts viable while moving at full speed.
Level 15 Perks
This is the biggest tier in the tree. The left branch adds dismemberment and instant kills, while the central branch unlocks Adrenaline Rush, which acts as a second health bar.
Level 20 Perks
Body is at 20, so we take the capstones. Rip and Tear is the shotgun capstone and Pain to Gain is the Adrenaline Rush capstone.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| +100% damage for your next Quick Melee Attack after shooting an enemy with a shotgun, and +100% damage for your next shotgun shot after a Quick Melee hit. Rebecca is already in melee range, so alternate shots and melee hits for massive damage. Only affects shotguns. | |
| While Adrenaline Rush is active, +20% Health Item recharge after neutralizing an enemy. Every kill gets you closer to the next heal, which keeps the Adrenaline Rush loop going all fight. | |
Onslaught |
Refills 20% of your ammo after neutralizing an enemy with a Light Machine Gun. Only take this if you run an LMG like the Wild Dog. As long as you keep getting kills, you practically never have to reload. |
Technical Ability Perks
The Technical Ability Perk-Tree does two jobs in the Rebecca Build. The middle of the tree stacks Cyberware capacity and stat bonuses so we can fit every iconic implant, and the right side unlocks Bolt shots for Tech weapons like the Lizzie. Max it out to 20.
Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.
Level 4 Perks
We don’t need any level 4 perks. If you have spare points, the bottom row on the left side gives small bonuses to your health items.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
Glutton for War |
Adds an extra Health Item charge and speeds up out of combat recharge. |
First Aid |
Faster Health Item recharge when you have only used one charge. |
Transfusion |
The final charge of your Health Item heals for more. |
Level 9 Perks
Level 9 is where the Cyberware scaling starts. These perks give us the capacity and stat modifiers we need before committing to Edgerunner later on.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Boosts all cyberware stat modifiers by 10% and cuts Cyberware Capacity cost by 20% for Integumentary System and Skeleton chrome. Both ranks are essential, since Chitin and Rara Avis are expensive. | |
| Adds a secondary stat modifier to all cyberware. Free passive stats across your whole build. | |
| Grants +4 Cyberware Capacity for every Attribute above the threshold. With four attributes at 18 or higher, this is a large chunk of free capacity that feeds directly into Edgerunner. | |
| Reduces incoming damage by 5% while your Integumentary System and Skeleton slots are all filled. Cheap mitigation that matters once Edgerunner starts eating your max health. | |
| Increases crafting components gained from looting. Purely a quality of life pick, useful while you are still upgrading gear. | |
Chipware Connoisseur |
Lets you choose between two stat modifier options when upgrading cyberware. You only need this while upgrading, so equip it at the Ripperdoc and refund the point afterward if you are short on points. |
Level 15 Perks
Level 15 adds armor and two extra Cyberware slots in the middle, and unlocks Bolt shots on the right side for Tech weapons.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Another +10% to all cyberware stat modifiers, +40 armor, and a new Skeleton slot with boosted stats on all Skeleton chrome. Max this out, it is how we fit Bionic Joints, Epimorphic Skeleton and Rara Avis at the same time. | |
| Unlocks an additional Hands cyberware slot. Lets you run Immovable Force next to a second Hands implant. | |
| Reduces cyberware cooldowns by 15% if all available slots are filled. This is why we fill every slot, even with cheap filler chrome. | |
| Increases the duration of all active cyberware effects by 15%. Stretches the Adreno-Trigger movement speed window even further. | |
Built Different |
Unlocks the Cellular Adapter cyberware for the Integumentary System. Only needed if you use Tech weapons, but the Lizzie makes it worth it. See the Integumentary System section. |
| Faster charge speed and more damage for charged Tech weapon shots, then unlocks Bolt shots. Release the trigger right before a full charge to fire a Bolt, which counts as fully charged and deals +30% damage, but loses damage when penetrating cover. | |
| Increases charge speed after firing a Bolt, stacking up to 3 times. Lets you fire Bolts back to back. | |
| Increases the time window to fire a Bolt. Makes Bolt timing much more forgiving in a hectic fight. | |
| Bolt shots ignore enemy armor completely, so heavily armored enemies take full damage. | |
| Tech weapons no longer fire automatically at full charge, so you can hold the charge and release it when you want. |
Level 20 Perks
Technical Ability is at 20, so we take two capstones. Edgerunner is the payoff for all the capacity we stacked, and Chain Lightning upgrades Bolt shots.
Reflexes Perks
The Reflexes Perk-Tree boosts Assault Rifles and SMGs on the left side and gives us Dash and Air Dash in the middle (what we focus on). Rebecca is not exactly known for air dashing, but with V we can min-max her movement anyway.
Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.
Level 4 Perks
These perks cover the basics of moving and shooting at the same time. Slippery is also the gateway to the Dash branch.
Level 9 Perks
Level 9 is where the movement comes together. Dash replaces your dodge, and everything around it turns dashing into both offense and defense.
Level 15 Perks
Level 15 finishes the mobility package with the Air Dash line. This is what lets you fight in three dimensions instead of two.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Another cut to dash stamina cost, +20% dash speed, and finally the ability to dash in midair. Not exactly canon for Rebecca, but highly recommended. | |
| Improves your midair maneuverability. Gives you real control over where you land after an air dash. | |
Aerodynamic |
Massively increases mitigation strength while you are in midair. Makes the air dash a safe way to get into shotgun range. |
Level 20 Perks
We don’t use any level 20 perks. Reflexes sits at 18 in this build.
Cool Perks
The Cool Perk-Tree increases our damage with Pistols, Revolvers, Precision Rifles and Sniper Rifles. That covers the Lizzie and the Borzaya, so everything outside of shotgun range benefits from this tree.
Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.
Level 4 Perks
This tier is optional. I like Road Warrior because it gives you more damage while shooting from a vehicle.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
Road Warrior |
+25% weapon damage while your vehicle is drifting or airborne. |
Level 9 Perks
Level 9 unlocks Focus, which is the entry point to the whole precision shooting branch.
Skip: Pull! only makes shooting grenades out of the air easier, and Deep Breath slows time for you as well as your enemies. Neither fits this build.
Level 15 Perks
Level 15 unlocks Deadeye, which runs off high stamina rather than a timer. The perks around it convert headshots back into stamina so it stays up.
Level 20 Perks
Cool is at 20, so we take one capstone.
Alternative: Run ‘N’ Gun (hip-firing costs no stamina, more movement speed during Focus) only affects pistols. Take it instead if you rarely use a sniper.
Intelligence Perks
We don’t spend any points in the Intelligence perk tree. Rebecca is definitely not a Netrunner, so we leave it at 3. If you want to hack cars, you can put a single point in, but for a min-max build leave it alone.
Relic Perks (Phantom Liberty DLC)
The Relic Perk tree works differently from the five standard attribute trees. It was introduced in the Phantom Liberty DLC. The Relic tree doesn’t care about minor stat bumps; it is entirely focused on fundamentally changing how your existing high-tier cyberware functions or adding brand-new active combat mechanics.
In the standard trees, you earn Attribute and Perk points as you level up. The Relic tree completely ignores your character level.
- Availability: Only after you start the Phantom Liberty DLC.
- Unique Currency: It uses Relic Points instead of Perk Points.
- How to Get Them: You are given a handful of points automatically during the main story of the Phantom Liberty DLC. The rest must be found out in the world by hunting down and downloading data from hidden Militech Data Terminals scattered exclusively around Dogtown.
Relic Perks
The Relic tree runs on Relic points from Phantom Liberty rather than attribute levels, so there are no level tiers here. We use two branches: one for the Gorilla Arms and one for Vulnerabilities.
At the end of Phantom Liberty, you should be able to get all of these perks anyway, but first make sure to max out the ones below.
Cyberware for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077
Using the right Cyberware for the Cyberpunk 2077: Rebecca Build matters. Rebecca doesn’t use a Sandevistan, a Berserk or a Cyberdeck, so the Operating System slot goes to the Chrome Compressor, which gives us enough capacity to run iconic chrome everywhere else. However, don’t sweat it if you can’t get every piece.
Important: Priority Cyberware is marked in bold.
- Operating System (Most Important)
- Frontal Cortex
- Face
- Arms
- Hands
- Skeleton
- Nervous System
- Circulatory System
- Integumentary System
- Legs

|
Location of items:
- Chrome Compressor: Iconic, Dogtown Ripperdocs (Phantom Liberty DLC), also found in Dogtown airdrops.

Weapons for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077
Rebecca uses pretty much every kind of gun in the anime: assault rifles, SMGs, pistols, precision rifles, and even smart and Tech weapons. The perk trees are built around specific weapon families, so pick your loadout accordingly.
- Body perks like Die! Die! Die!, Spontaneous Obliteration and Rip and Tear only affect Shotguns, LMGs and HMGs.
- Cool perks like Focus, Deadeye and Nerves of Tungsten-Steel only affect Pistols, Revolvers, Precision Rifles and Sniper Rifles.
- Reflexes perks like Sharpshooter and Ready, Rested, Reloaded boost Assault Rifles and SMGs. This build skips that branch in favor of the Dash perks, so only spec into it if you main an AR or an SMG.
- Technical Ability perks like Bolt and Chain Lightning boost Tech weapons of any type.
That split is why the loadout below carries a shotgun for close range, plus a Tech pistol and a sniper for everything else.
Upgrade: Weapons can be upgraded when you go to the crafting section and then swap to upgrades.
Canonically, Rebecca is seen using the Unity, the M-76e Omaha Tech pistol, the SOR-22 precision rifle, a Shingen smart SMG and even a heavy machine gun. Iconics are stronger, but feel free to run the canon weapons with your own weapon mods if you prefer.
Alternative weapons
There are a lot of great iconic weapons for this build. Use whatever you like, here are the best options per weapon type.
Shotguns and LMGs (Body)
- Bloody Maria (Shotgun)
- Mox (Shotgun)
- Dezerter (Double-Barrel Shotgun, Phantom Liberty)
- Order (Tech Double-Barrel Shotgun, Phantom Liberty)
- Wild Dog (LMG, Phantom Liberty)
Pistols, Precision Rifles and Sniper Rifles (Cool)
- Cheetah (Pistol, Phantom Liberty)
- La Chingona Dorada (Pistol)
- Malorian Arms 3516 (Pistol)
- Pride (Pistol)
- Plan B (Pistol)
- Seraph (Pistol)
- Breakthrough (Tech Sniper Rifle)
- Hypercritical (Precision Rifle)
- Widow Maker (Tech Precision Rifle)
Assault Rifles and SMGs (Reflexes)
- Carmen (Assault Rifle, Phantom Liberty)
- Moron Labe (Assault Rifle)
- Pit Bull (Assault Rifle)
- Prejudice (Assault Rifle, pairs with Pride)
- Psalm 11:6 (Assault Rifle)
- Buzzsaw (SMG)
- Fenrir (SMG)
- Guillotine x-MOD2 (SMG, Phantom Liberty)
- Problem Solver (SMG)
- Prototype: Shingen Mark V (Smart SMG)
- Raiju (Tech SMG, Phantom Liberty)
Guts (Iconic Power Shotgun) – How To Get It
Guts is an iconic version of the Carnage power shotgun and Rebecca’s signature weapon in the anime. Let the lead fly: it shoots faster and deals more damage than a regular Carnage, accuracy be damned. It is a heavy weapon that slightly reduces your movement speed and jump height, which is why Like a Feather is mandatory. The recoil is so strong it can even break some of your fall damage.
There is no quest attached. It is a world drop, available once the Watson lockdown lifts after The Heist.
- Where: Memorial Park, in the middle of Corpo Plaza, City Center (see image).
- How to Get It: Fast travel to the Arasaka Tower or Metro: Memorial Park point, then take the stairs up to the highest level of the plaza where the holographic koi fish circle above the glass floor. Behind the monks.
- What to Do: Cross to the southern edge of the circle, directly opposite Arasaka Tower and facing the Militech building. You will find three monks meditating there, which is how you know you are in the right spot. Walk past them into the grass and search the bushes. The pickup icon sits under the first bush on the left.
- Note: Its tier scales to your level when you pick it up, but you can upgrade it through Crafting > Upgrades all the way to Tier 5++, so grabbing it early costs you nothing.
Lizzie (Iconic Tech Pistol) – How To Get It
Not just a lookalike of Rebecca’s M-76e Omaha, this thing is disgusting. It fires in a burst, fires an extra round per shot, and fires even more rounds per shot when fully charged. As a Tech pistol it benefits from Focus and Deadeye in the Cool tree, Bolt shots in the Technical Ability tree, and the Tech weapon damage from the Cellular Adapter.
- Where: “Automatic Love” (Main Job) Mission, Lizzie’s Bar in Kabuki, Watson.
- How to Get It: It is Susie Q’s pistol. You find it in a private room next to Judy’s braindance den inside Lizzie’s Bar.
- What to Do: Grab it while you are in the bar during the mission, before you head out.
- Note: If you miss it, iconics can be bought later from the Black Market vendor (Herold Lowe) in the Dogtown Stadium.
Borzaya (Iconic Power Sniper Rifle) – How To Get It
The Borzaya is the iconic version of the SPT32 Grad and part of the Techtronika weapon series that was banned over humanitarian concerns. It fires explosive rounds, very similar to the O’Five, and comes with a +40% Burn chance.
- Hitting an enemy affected by that Burn always deals Crit Damage.
- The more enemies burning at the same time, the more Crit Damage you deal, at the cost of accuracy.
- The explosive rounds set several enemies on fire at once, which is exactly how you stack that bonus.
It is a very heavy weapon: you can still double jump with it, but you cannot dash or sprint while it is drawn. Treat it as a weapon you swap to for a shot, then swap back to Guts.
- Where: Golden Pacific, Dogtown (Phantom Liberty DLC).
- How to Get It: It appears in an airdrop near the Brave Atlas after completing Lucretia My Reflection.
- What to Do: Loot the airdrop before the Barghest or Scavengers get to it.
- Note: If you miss it, you can buy it from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium.
Prefer the canon look? The SOR-22 power precision rifle is what Rebecca uses in the anime, and the Widow Maker is a strong Tech alternative that also benefits from Bolt.
Gear – Rebecca Jacket Cyberpunk 2077
Since gear is mostly cosmetic, you can wear whatever you want. All of this build’s defense comes from cyberware instead, mainly Chitin, Subdermal Armor, Rara Avis, Epimorphic Skeleton and Bionic Joints.
Rebecca’s Jacket can’t be obtained in Cyberpunk 2077 unless you use mods.
Grenades: Use any grenade you like. Something explosive fits Rebecca’s personality best, like a regular frag grenade, an incendiary grenade or Ozob’s Nose.
Skill Progression in Cyberpunk 2077
This is often overlooked; in the character menu, you can actually click on “Skill Progression”. This will send you to a very powerful mechanic in Cyberpunk 2077.
By leveling up these trees you gain powerful effects.
For our Cyberpunk 2077: Rebecca Build you want to focus on Solo, Headhunter, Engineer and Shinobi. Generally, while playing the game you will naturally level up these anyway. It still pays off to focus on one or two at the beginning.

Leveling Tips for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077
Here are a few general leveling tips for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077.
- Perfect Start
- How to make Money
- Upgrade Weapons
- How Gear Scaling Works
- How to get Perk Points Fast
- Dogtown Consumables
Perfect Start in Cyberpunk 2077
Here are the steps that I recommend taking with a new Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough.
Starter Build: You can also check out my Cyberpunk 2077 Starter Build that takes you from level 1 to level 15.
- Regular Start (Don’t skip ahead to Phantom Liberty).
- Immediately after the prologue, once you are out of your room and go downstairs before you enter the elevator.
- Weapon Vendor: Buy the Iconic pistol Dying Night.
- Coach Fred: Capacity Boosters (in case you get over capacity so you can still move).
- Buff Routine: Sleep & Shower. This gives you 20% Skill XP acquisition and Health Regen.
- Watson Clean Sweep (NCPD Missions):
- Watson is the first district you play in.
- Clearing all missions takes 1-2 hours. This will give you at least 10 levels, 15 Street Cred and over 150k Eddies Cash.
- Loot all enemies and either disassemble for materials or sell them at the vendor for extra Eddies.
- Get the Fenrir SMG from the monk mission. This SMG is insanely good at the start because it often stuns enemies.
- Visit a Ripperdoc at level 10: After you have enough money, its time to get chromed up.
- Reinforced Tendons (Legs): Allow you to double jump
- Kerenzikov (Nervous System): Slows Time by 60% for 2s.
- Synaptic Accelerator (Nervous System): Slows time by 20% for 2s when enemy detection reaches 50%.
- Whatever else you can fit!
- Time to start playing for real. The Pickup mission is waiting for you!
How to make Money
It is actually fairly easy to make money in Cyberpunk 2077. The best way to make money is to clear all the NCPD and Cyberpsycho missions in each district. As previously mentioned, clearing most of the Watson district NCPD mission alone already gives you approximately 150k Eddies Cash.
Upgrade Weapons
This often gets overlooked, but you can upgrade early-game weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. Go to the crafting section, then move to the Upgrade tab. Here you can upgrade all weapons if you have the necessary crafting components.
Gear Scaling in Cyberpunk 2077
Gear scaling is automated in Cyberpunk 2077. The moment you reach a certain level, you will start finding more and more high-quality items. Meaning the faster you reach a higher level the sooner you will find better gear from chests or enemies. That counts for Gear, Weapons, Cyberware, Outfits, etc.
- Tier 1: Level 1-9
- Tier 2: Level 10-19
- Tier 3: Level 20-29
- Tier 4: Level 30-39
- Tier 5: Level 40-44
- Tier Iconic: Level 45-50
How to get Perk Points in Cyberpunk 2077
You need Perk Points to unlock additional Perks for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077. Perks are the bread and butter of any CP2077 Build, as they significantly enhance your power.
- You get one Perk Point per character level.
- Skill Progression awards you with Perk Points.
- You can farm up to 13 Perk Shards (10 base game, 3 Phantom Liberty DLC)
Perk Point per Character Level
Not much needs to be said here; leveling up gives you one extra Perk Point.
Skill Progression
This is often overlooked; the Skill Progression system also awards you Perk Points at 15 and 35. So you can get an additional 10 Perk Points from this.
Character menu > bottom right Skill Progression.
Perk Shards
