The Dragon’s Dogma 2 Warrior Vocation is a robust physical option with higher health and armour but slower-moving 2-handed attacks that devastate the battlefield. In group settings, they are heavy burst damage dealers that can stagger and knock down larger foes. Additionally, warriors can wear heavy armour and gain a significant amount of defence and strength to solidify them as effective brawlers, dealing damage while absorbing punishment.
The Warrior Vocation is not available at the start of the game, but can be unlocked. It is one of the easiest Vocations to unlock in DD2; we have a guide that explains how to unlock the Warrior.
Table of Contents:
Their primary weapons are 2 Handed Swords or Hammers. While they do attack slowly, they deliver heavy damage with the ability to stagger and knock down enemies. Once enemies are knocked down, they are defenceless allowing you and your party to land tougher skills like Warrior’s long-charged attacks. The longer the charge, the more damage you will deal as well.
The Warrior Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a wrecking ball on the battlefield knocking enemies around, providing good control and immense charged attacks if timed well. Learning different enemy behaviors and knocked down timers will be critical for landing the best charged attacks reliably. They gain a staggering amount of health, defence and strength while levelling.
When paired with heavy armour, they are able to absorb a generous amount of damage in the front. Finally, Warriors can also opt to taunt and absorb and counter attack, similar to a fighter, or turn themselves into a full offensive heavy striker. No matter how you play the Warrior, the Vocation/Class will always be fun to play in DD2.
