How To Farm Transcendent Weapons: Drop Chance & Locations
Transcendent Weapons Explained
Transcendent Weapons arrived with Update 1.4.0 and sit above Ultimate Weapons as the new highest tier in The First Descendant. What separates them from everything that came before is Quality, a value from 1 to 400 that every Transcendent Weapon rolls on drop. Quality is split into four ranges, and each time a weapon crosses into the next range its performance jumps significantly. Range 4 (Quality 301-400) is the endgame target.
Update 1.4.0 shipped 11 Transcendent Weapons. Four are direct upgrades to existing Ultimate Weapons and can inherit their module setups via the Implant feature: Malevolent becomes Malicious Dominator, Thunder Cage becomes Storm Cage, Piercing Light becomes Raging Light, and King’s Guard Lance becomes Emperor’s Guard Lance. Five more are skill-hybrid weapons tied to a damage element (Sparky, Frost Blossom, ATR-0 Prototype, Volcanic Heart and Nightmare Launcher), and are best paired with a Descendant matching their attribute.
