Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Overview

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Shotgun Madness

This Cyberpunk 2077: Rebecca Build focuses on dealing insane close-range damage with shotguns, staying alive through massive health regen and Adrenaline Rush, and stacking so much chrome that you regularly trigger Edgerunner’s Fury mode.

Rebecca does not run a Sandevistan, a Berserk or a Cyberdeck, so we use the Operating System slot for raw Cyberware Capacity instead.

This Rebecca Build relies on close-quarter combat with the Guts shotgun, backed up by a tech pistol and a heavy sniper for anything further away. Here is a summary of the most important stuff you want for the Rebecca Edgerunners Build.

Must-Have Cyberware:

  • Operating System: Chrome Compressor (Phantom Liberty)
    • Costs 0 Cyberware Capacity.
    • Adds a large chunk of extra Cyberware Capacity (+70 at Tier 5++).
    • Frees up room for iconic chrome in every other slot.
  • Arms: Gorilla Arms: Physical
    • Rebecca’s signature oversized cyber-arms.
    • Charged strong attack creates a staggering shockwave (with Jailbreak).
  • Integumentary System: Chitin
    • Lots of armor.
    • +10% Health Regen Rate per Body point (+200% at 20 Body).
  • Optics: Kiroshi “Cockatrice” Optics
    • +35% Crit Chance

Make sure to read the full list of Cyberware to become an unstoppable force in Cyberpunk 2077.

Must-Have Weapons:

  • Guts (Rebecca’s Iconic Shotgun)
    • Shoots faster and hits harder than a regular Carnage.
    • Insane close-range damage.
  • Lizzie (Iconic Tech Pistol)
    • Looks like the M-76e Omaha Rebecca uses in the anime.
    • Fires extra rounds per shot, more when fully charged.
  • Borzaya (Iconic Sniper Rifle)
    • Explosive rounds
    • Long range

For more alternative weapons, read the full list of Weapons that work with this Rebecca build.

Relic Perks (for Endgame):

  • Jailbreak icon Cyberpunk 2077Jailbreak: Charged Gorilla Arms attacks deal massive damage and create a shockwave that staggers nearby enemies.
    • Limiter Removal icon Cyberpunk 2077Limiter Removal: Shockwave from Gorilla attack now knocks down all enemies within range.
  • Vulnerability Analytics icon Cyberpunk 2077Vulnerability Analytics: Hitting enemy Vulnerabilities gives 100% Crit Chance and armor penetration.

Attributes – Rebecca Build (Edgerunners)

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Mayhem

Distributing Attributes correctly for the Rebecca Shotgun Build is important. Attributes dictate the direction of the build and give access to different tiers of perks depending on how many points you invest in each category.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build’s Attributes are spread out between cyberpunk 2077 attribute body iconBody, cyberpunk 2077 attribute technical ability icon1 Technical Ability, cyberpunk 2077 attribute cool iconCool, and cyberpunk 2077 attribute reflexes iconReflexes. cyberpunk 2077 attribute intelligence icon Intelligence takes a back seat here. As we know from the Edgerunners anime, Rebecca is not exactly the brightest bulb in the room.

Perk Unlocks

Unlocks occur at attribute levels 4, 9, 15, and 20.

Perks are the bread and butter of every Cyberpunk 2077 build; they make it unique. At 9 & 15, you gain powerful perks that enhance your playstyle. At 20, you get the cherry on top with perks that can further change your playstyle with any given build.

Read here how to get more Perk Points in Cyberpunk 2077.

Perks – Rebecca Build Cyberpunk 2077

In this section of the Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build (Shotgun), I will explain the perks that we use for each attribute.

Perk Points: To get perk points, you can either simply level up or farm Perk Shards. Read our guide on all 13 Perk Shard Locations in Cyberpunk 2077, with map locations, screenshots, and the nearest fast travel point for each shard.

Spare Points: The bold perks are the core of the build, so pick them up before the non-bold ones. While you are still leveling, go with whatever you need the most. For example, if you run around with a shotgun all the time, grab the shotgun perks first.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute body iconBody Perks

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Body Perks

The cyberpunk 2077 attribute body icon Body Perk-Tree is the heart of the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077. The left side powers up Shotguns, LMGs and HMGs, while the central side gives us health regen and Adrenaline Rush. Max Body out to 20 so we can get the perks at the top.

Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute body icon Body Perk Tree Summary

This tree gives us extreme sustain and turns the shotgun into an instant-kill machine.

  • Health regen during combat
  • Adrenaline Rush acts as a second health bar
  • Obliterate: instantly kill and dismember wounded enemies
  • Immunity to knockdown and blinding
  • Stronger Shotguns, LMGs and HMGs

Level 4 Perks

The level 4 perks are all base health regen. They stack on top of each other and let Rebecca stay in the open instead of hiding behind cover.

Perk Description
Painkiller icon Cyberpunk2077

Painkiller

Unlocks passive health regeneration during combat. Everything else in this tier multiplies it, so it is the first pick and the foundation of the build’s sustain.
Comeback Kid icon Cyberpunk2077

Comeback Kid

Increases health regen rate for every percent of health you are missing. The lower you drop the faster you recover, which matters a lot once Edgerunner starts cutting into your max health.
Dorph-head icon Cyberpunk2077

Dorph-head

Grants a burst of mitigation chance right after using a health item or Blood Pump cyberware. A short window of near-total damage reduction that lines up neatly with the Adrenaline Rush cycle.
Speed Junkie icon Cyberpunk2077

Speed Junkie

Increases health regen rate while sprinting. Free value, since Rebecca sprints and dashes straight into every fight.
Army of One icon Cyberpunk2077

Army of One

+10% health regen rate for each nearby enemy. Rebecca fights in the middle of the crowd, so this is almost always active.

Level 9 Perks

Level 9 opens the shotgun and machine gun branch on the left side of the tree. These perks are what make Guts viable while moving at full speed.

Perk Description
Die! Die! Die! icon Cyberpunk2077

Die! Die! Die!

Boosts stamina regen and improves weapon handling as your stamina drains. The gateway to the whole heavy weapon branch. Only affects shotguns, LMGs and HMGs.
Like a Feather icon Cyberpunk2077

Like a Feather

Removes the movement speed penalty from shotguns, LMGs and HMGs. Guts is a heavy weapon that slows you down and lowers your jump height, so this is mandatory.
Don't Stop Me Now icon Cyberpunk2077

Don’t Stop Me Now

Grants extra mitigation chance and mitigation strength while your stamina is low. Turns the low stamina window from a liability into a defensive bonus.
Bullet Ballet icon Cyberpunk2077

Bullet Ballet

Reduces bullet spread while moving. Keeps your heavy weapons accurate during the constant repositioning this build relies on.

Level 15 Perks

This is the biggest tier in the tree. The left branch adds dismemberment and instant kills, while the central branch unlocks Adrenaline Rush, which acts as a second health bar.

Perk Description
Spontaneous Obliteration icon Cyberpunk2077

Spontaneous Obliteration

More crit chance at low stamina, extra damage to nearby enemies, and finally Obliterate, a chance to instantly kill and dismember wounded enemies. Enemies at low health just die in one hit. Max it out. Only affects shotguns, LMGs and HMGs.
Close-quarters Carnage icon Cyberpunk2077

Close-quarters Carnage

Increases your Obliterate chance at close range. Stacks with Spontaneous Obliteration and rewards fighting at shotgun distance, which is exactly where Rebecca wants to be.
Skullcracker icon Cyberpunk2077

Skullcracker

Increases the damage of Quick Melee Attacks as your stamina drains. Pairs with Rip and Tear at level 20, so every shotgun blast can be followed by a brutal melee hit.
Dread icon Cyberpunk2077

Dread

Ranged attacks reduce enemy armor, and dismemberment spreads the effect to nearby enemies. Quietly one of the strongest damage multipliers in the tree. Only affects shotguns, LMGs and HMGs.
Rush of Blood icon Cyberpunk2077

Rush of Blood

Increases reload speed for a short time after dismembering an enemy. Guts has a slow reload, so this keeps the pressure on once Obliterate starts chaining.
Adrenaline Rush icon Cyberpunk2077

Adrenaline Rush

+35 max health, +20% to all health regen, then unlocks Adrenaline Rush itself. Health items and Blood Pump now also grant Adrenaline worth 30% of max health (up to 50%), which absorbs damage as a separate yellow bar. Basically free health on top of your normal heals.
Calm Mind icon Cyberpunk2077

Calm Mind

While Adrenaline Rush is active, adds a 3 second delay before Adrenaline starts to decay. Keeps your second health bar around longer between heals.
Unstoppable Force icon Cyberpunk2077

Unstoppable Force

While Adrenaline Rush is active you become immune to movement penalties and non-damaging status effects such as knockdown and blinding.
Juggernaut icon Cyberpunk2077

Juggernaut

While Adrenaline Rush is active you gain +20% movement speed and +10% damage. Rewards keeping Adrenaline topped up rather than treating it as an emergency button.
Bloodlust icon Cyberpunk2077

Bloodlust

While Adrenaline Rush is active, dismembering a nearby enemy grants +50 Adrenaline. The link between the two branches: every shotgun dismemberment refills your second health bar.

Level 20 Perks

Body is at 20, so we take the capstones. Rip and Tear is the shotgun capstone and Pain to Gain is the Adrenaline Rush capstone.

Perk Description
Rip and Tear icon Cyberpunk2077

Rip and Tear

+100% damage for your next Quick Melee Attack after shooting an enemy with a shotgun, and +100% damage for your next shotgun shot after a Quick Melee hit. Rebecca is already in melee range, so alternate shots and melee hits for massive damage. Only affects shotguns.
Pain to Gain icon Cyberpunk2077

Pain to Gain

While Adrenaline Rush is active, +20% Health Item recharge after neutralizing an enemy. Every kill gets you closer to the next heal, which keeps the Adrenaline Rush loop going all fight.
Onslaught icon Cyberpunk2077

Onslaught
(Optional)

Refills 20% of your ammo after neutralizing an enemy with a Light Machine Gun. Only take this if you run an LMG like the Wild Dog. As long as you keep getting kills, you practically never have to reload.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute technical ability icon1Technical Ability Perks

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Technical Ability Perks

The cyberpunk 2077 attribute technical ability icon1 Technical Ability Perk-Tree does two jobs in the Rebecca Build. The middle of the tree stacks Cyberware capacity and stat bonuses so we can fit every iconic implant, and the right side unlocks Bolt shots for Tech weapons like the Lizzie. Max it out to 20.

Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute technical ability icon1 Technical Ability Perk Tree Summary

This tree gives us Cyberware enhancements and turns Tech weapons into a serious damage source.

  • Reduced Cyberware cost
  • Stronger Cyberware
  • Extra Skeleton and Hands Cyberware slots
  • Edgerunner Fury Mode
  • Bolt shots for Tech weapons
  • Unlocks the Cellular Adapter

Level 4 Perks

We don’t need any level 4 perks. If you have spare points, the bottom row on the left side gives small bonuses to your health items.

Perk Description
Glutton for War icon Cyberpunk2077

Glutton for War
(Optional)

Adds an extra Health Item charge and speeds up out of combat recharge.
First Aid icon Cyberpunk2077

First Aid
(Optional)

Faster Health Item recharge when you have only used one charge.
Transfusion icon Cyberpunk2077

Transfusion
(Optional)

The final charge of your Health Item heals for more.

Level 9 Perks

Level 9 is where the Cyberware scaling starts. These perks give us the capacity and stat modifiers we need before committing to Edgerunner later on.

Perk Description
All Things Cyber icon Cyberpunk2077

All Things Cyber

Boosts all cyberware stat modifiers by 10% and cuts Cyberware Capacity cost by 20% for Integumentary System and Skeleton chrome. Both ranks are essential, since Chitin and Rara Avis are expensive.
Driver Update icon Cyberpunk2077

Driver Update

Adds a secondary stat modifier to all cyberware. Free passive stats across your whole build.
Renaissance Punk icon Cyberpunk2077

Renaissance Punk

Grants +4 Cyberware Capacity for every Attribute above the threshold. With four attributes at 18 or higher, this is a large chunk of free capacity that feeds directly into Edgerunner.
Chrome Constitution icon Cyberpunk2077

Chrome Constitution

Reduces incoming damage by 5% while your Integumentary System and Skeleton slots are all filled. Cheap mitigation that matters once Edgerunner starts eating your max health.
Lucky Day icon Cyberpunk2077

Lucky Day

Increases crafting components gained from looting. Purely a quality of life pick, useful while you are still upgrading gear.
Chipware Connoisseur icon Cyberpunk2077

Chipware Connoisseur
(Optional)

Lets you choose between two stat modifier options when upgrading cyberware. You only need this while upgrading, so equip it at the Ripperdoc and refund the point afterward if you are short on points.

Level 15 Perks

Level 15 adds armor and two extra Cyberware slots in the middle, and unlocks Bolt shots on the right side for Tech weapons.

Perk Description
License to Chrome icon Cyberpunk2077

License to Chrome

Another +10% to all cyberware stat modifiers, +40 armor, and a new Skeleton slot with boosted stats on all Skeleton chrome. Max this out, it is how we fit Bionic Joints, Epimorphic Skeleton and Rara Avis at the same time.
Ambidextrous icon Cyberpunk2077

Ambidextrous

Unlocks an additional Hands cyberware slot. Lets you run Immovable Force next to a second Hands implant.
Cyborg icon Cyberpunk2077

Cyborg

Reduces cyberware cooldowns by 15% if all available slots are filled. This is why we fill every slot, even with cheap filler chrome.
Extended Warranty icon Cyberpunk2077

Extended Warranty

Increases the duration of all active cyberware effects by 15%. Stretches the Adreno-Trigger movement speed window even further.
Built Different icon Cyberpunk2077

Built Different
(If you use Tech Weapons)

Unlocks the Cellular Adapter cyberware for the Integumentary System. Only needed if you use Tech weapons, but the Lizzie makes it worth it. See the Integumentary System section.
Bolt icon Cyberpunk2077

Bolt

Faster charge speed and more damage for charged Tech weapon shots, then unlocks Bolt shots. Release the trigger right before a full charge to fire a Bolt, which counts as fully charged and deals +30% damage, but loses damage when penetrating cover.
Lightning Storm icon Cyberpunk2077

Lightning Storm

Increases charge speed after firing a Bolt, stacking up to 3 times. Lets you fire Bolts back to back.
Internal Clock icon Cyberpunk2077

Internal Clock

Increases the time window to fire a Bolt. Makes Bolt timing much more forgiving in a hectic fight.
Shock Value icon Cyberpunk2077

Shock Value

Bolt shots ignore enemy armor completely, so heavily armored enemies take full damage.
In Charge icon Cyberpunk2077

In Charge

Tech weapons no longer fire automatically at full charge, so you can hold the charge and release it when you want.

Level 20 Perks

Technical Ability is at 20, so we take two capstones. Edgerunner is the payoff for all the capacity we stacked, and Chain Lightning upgrades Bolt shots.

Perk Description
Edgerunner icon Cyberpunk2077

Edgerunner

Lets you exceed Cyberware Capacity by up to 50 points at a cost of 0.5% max health per point over. Every neutralization has a chance per point over capacity to trigger Fury: +10% damage, +30% crit chance and +50% crit damage. Basically cyberpsychosis for free, which fits Rebecca perfectly.
Chain Lightning icon Cyberpunk2077

Chain Lightning

Bolt shots now deal Electrical damage and release an arc that electrocutes up to 3 nearby enemies. Turns every Lizzie Bolt into a small area attack.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute reflexes iconReflexes Perks

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Reflexes Perks

The cyberpunk 2077 attribute reflexes icon Reflexes Perk-Tree boosts Assault Rifles and SMGs on the left side and gives us Dash and Air Dash in the middle (what we focus on). Rebecca is not exactly known for air dashing, but with V we can min-max her movement anyway.

Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute reflexes icon Reflexes Perk Tree Summary

This tree will give us plenty of mobility perks.

  • Shoot while sprinting
  • Dash and Air Dash
  • Enemies have a harder time hitting us
  • Extra mitigation while dashing

Level 4 Perks

These perks cover the basics of moving and shooting at the same time. Slippery is also the gateway to the Dash branch.

Perk Description
Slippery icon Cyberpunk2077

Slippery

The faster you move, the harder you are to hit, and the effect scales up while dashing, dodging, sliding, sprinting and vaulting. Unlocks the rest of the middle branch.
Multitasker icon Cyberpunk2077

Multitasker

Lets you fire your weapon while sprinting, sliding and vaulting. Removes the usual pause between moving and shooting.
Muscle Memory icon Cyberpunk2077

Muscle Memory

Lets you reload while sprinting, sliding and vaulting. Pairs directly with Multitasker so you never have to stop to get back in the fight.
Parkour! icon Cyberpunk2077

Parkour!

Increases vaulting and climbing speed. Keeps your traversal smooth when you are chasing enemies across cover.

Level 9 Perks

Level 9 is where the movement comes together. Dash replaces your dodge, and everything around it turns dashing into both offense and defense.

Perk Description
Dash icon Cyberpunk2077

Dash

Rank 1 cuts dodge and dash stamina cost, rank 2 unlocks the Dash itself. It replaces dodging, covers far more ground and auto-vaults low obstacles.
Steady Grip icon Cyberpunk2077

Steady Grip

Lets you shoot while dashing. Turns the dash from a purely defensive move into an attack.
Can't Touch This icon Cyberpunk2077

Can’t Touch This

+100% mitigation chance while dashing. Combined with Slippery this makes you extremely hard to punish while closing the distance for a shotgun blast.
Mean Streak icon Cyberpunk2077

Mean Streak

Restores 40% stamina when you neutralize an enemy while dashing. Keeps the dash chain going through longer fights.

Level 15 Perks

Level 15 finishes the mobility package with the Air Dash line. This is what lets you fight in three dimensions instead of two.

Perk Description
Air Dash icon Cyberpunk2077

Air Dash

Another cut to dash stamina cost, +20% dash speed, and finally the ability to dash in midair. Not exactly canon for Rebecca, but highly recommended.
Aerial Acrobat icon Cyberpunk2077

Aerial Acrobat

Improves your midair maneuverability. Gives you real control over where you land after an air dash.
Aerodynamic icon Cyberpunk2077

Aerodynamic
(Optional)

Massively increases mitigation strength while you are in midair. Makes the air dash a safe way to get into shotgun range.

Level 20 Perks

We don’t use any level 20 perks. Reflexes sits at 18 in this build.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute cool iconCool Perks

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Cool Perks

The cyberpunk 2077 attribute cool icon Cool Perk-Tree increases our damage with Pistols, Revolvers, Precision Rifles and Sniper Rifles. That covers the Lizzie and the Borzaya, so everything outside of shotgun range benefits from this tree.

Perk Prioritization: Prioritize perks in bold.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute cool icon Cool Perk Tree Summary

This tree gives us precision damage for our pistol and sniper.

  • Focus mode: no stamina cost for shooting
  • Deadeye mode: more headshot damage and no bullet spread
  • Guaranteed crits on headshots and weak spots

Level 4 Perks

This tier is optional. I like Road Warrior because it gives you more damage while shooting from a vehicle.

Perk Description
Road Warrior icon Cyberpunk2077

Road Warrior
(Optional)

+25% weapon damage while your vehicle is drifting or airborne.

Level 9 Perks

Level 9 unlocks Focus, which is the entry point to the whole precision shooting branch.

Perk Description
Focus icon Cyberpunk2077

Focus

+10% headshot and weak spot damage, then unlocks Focus mode, which activates automatically when you aim at full stamina. While active, shooting costs no stamina. Only affects pistols, revolvers, precision rifles and sniper rifles.
No Sweat icon Cyberpunk2077

No Sweat

Reduces the stamina cost of Focus for every enemy you neutralize while it was active. Makes Focus sustainable instead of a once-per-fight burst.
Rinse and Reload icon Cyberpunk2077

Rinse and Reload

Faster reload on your next reload after a kill while aiming, stacking twice. Keeps you firing during the short Focus window.
Head to Head icon Cyberpunk2077

Head to Head

Neutralizing an enemy with a ranged attack while Focus is active resets its duration. Optional, but nice if you chain sniper kills.

Skip: Pull! only makes shooting grenades out of the air easier, and Deep Breath slows time for you as well as your enemies. Neither fits this build.

Level 15 Perks

Level 15 unlocks Deadeye, which runs off high stamina rather than a timer. The perks around it convert headshots back into stamina so it stays up.

Perk Description
Deadeye icon Cyberpunk2077

Deadeye

+10% headshot and weak spot damage, reduced stamina cost for shooting, then Deadeye mode itself, active whenever you are above 85% stamina. While active you gain +20% headshot damage, +20% weak spot damage and no bullet spread. Max this out.
California Reaper icon Cyberpunk2077

California Reaper

Restores stamina after a ranged headshot or weak spot kill. This is what keeps you above the 85% threshold for Deadeye.
High Noon icon Cyberpunk2077

High Noon

While Deadeye is active, a headshot or weak spot kill grants a fast reload and slows time during it.
Long Shot icon Cyberpunk2077

Long Shot

While Deadeye is active your shots deal full damage at any range. Eliminates damage falloff entirely.
Quick Draw icon Cyberpunk2077

Quick Draw

Faster weapon swaps to pistols, revolvers, sniper rifles and precision rifles, plus stamina when swapping in combat. Great for swapping from Guts to the Lizzie or Borzaya.

Level 20 Perks

Cool is at 20, so we take one capstone.

Perk Description
Nerves of Tungsten-Steel icon Cyberpunk2077

Nerves of Tungsten-Steel

While Deadeye is active: guaranteed crits for headshots and weak spots, and more damage as distance increases. Mainly for the precision and sniper rifles, and the reason to push Cool to 20.

Alternative: Run ‘N’ Gun (hip-firing costs no stamina, more movement speed during Focus) only affects pistols. Take it instead if you rarely use a sniper.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute intelligence icon Intelligence Perks

We don’t spend any points in the Intelligence perk tree. Rebecca is definitely not a Netrunner, so we leave it at 3. If you want to hack cars, you can put a single point in, but for a min-max build leave it alone.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute relic iconRelic Perks (Phantom Liberty DLC)

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Relic Perks

The cyberpunk 2077 attribute relic icon Relic Perk tree works differently from the five standard attribute trees. It was introduced in the Phantom Liberty DLC. The Relic tree doesn’t care about minor stat bumps; it is entirely focused on fundamentally changing how your existing high-tier cyberware functions or adding brand-new active combat mechanics.

In the standard trees, you earn Attribute and Perk points as you level up. The Relic tree completely ignores your character level.

  • Availability: Only after you start the Phantom Liberty DLC.
  • Unique Currency: It uses Relic Points instead of Perk Points.
  • How to Get Them: You are given a handful of points automatically during the main story of the Phantom Liberty DLC. The rest must be found out in the world by hunting down and downloading data from hidden Militech Data Terminals scattered exclusively around Dogtown.

cyberpunk 2077 attribute relic icon Relic Perks

The Relic tree runs on Relic points from Phantom Liberty rather than attribute levels, so there are no level tiers here. We use two branches: one for the Gorilla Arms and one for Vulnerabilities.

At the end of Phantom Liberty, you should be able to get all of these perks anyway, but first make sure to max out the ones below.

Perk Description
Vulnerability Analytics icon Cyberpunk 2077

Vulnerability Analytics

Lets you spot Vulnerabilities in enemy armor and cyberware during combat. Hitting one gives 100% crit chance, +25% armor penetration and weak spot damage bonuses, and destroying it sets off an EMP blast in a 3 metre radius. Max this out first.
Machine Learning icon Cyberpunk 2077

Machine Learning

Destroying a Vulnerability grants +10% Vulnerability spawn frequency and +5% crit damage against them for 25 seconds, stacking five times with the effects doubled at max stacks.
Jailbreak icon Cyberpunk 2077

Jailbreak

Unlocks new abilities for all Arm cyberware. For the Gorilla Arms, attacking now charges them. A fully charged strong attack deals massive damage and creates a shockwave that staggers nearby enemies, and neutralizing an enemy this way sends their body flying.
Limiter Removal icon Cyberpunk 2077

Limiter Removal

The shockwave from a charged Gorilla Arms attack now knocks down all enemies within range. The perfect follow-up to Jailbreak.

Cyberware for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 Rebecca Build Heavy Machine Gun

Using the right Cyberware for the Cyberpunk 2077: Rebecca Build matters. Rebecca doesn’t use a Sandevistan, a Berserk or a Cyberdeck, so the Operating System slot goes to the Chrome Compressor, which gives us enough capacity to run iconic chrome everywhere else. However, don’t sweat it if you can’t get every piece.

Important: Priority Cyberware is marked in bold.

How to get and upgrade Cyberware

  • Finding vs. Buying: Cyberware can be found as world loot or bought from Ripperdocs. Both world loot and Ripperdoc store inventories are strictly locked to your character’s level. You cannot buy higher tier cyberware than your level allows.
  • Level Tiers:
    • Tier 1 – Level 1-9
    • Tier 2 – Level 10-19
    • Tier 3 – Level 20-29
    • Tier 4 – Level 30-39
    • Tier 5 – Level 40+
  • Upgrading: While you can’t buy high-tier cyberware early, you can upgrade any cyberware you already own all the way to Tier 5++ at any Ripperdoc, regardless of your level, as long as you have the required item components.

Ripperdocs Inventory

All Ripperdocs in Night City have the same inventory, except the Ripperdoc in Dogtown (Phantom Liberty DLC), who has exclusive iconic Cyberware.

  • Night City Ripperdocs – Standard Cyberware (Tier 1-5).
  • Dogtown (Phantom Liberty DLC) – Standard Cyberware + Iconic Cyberware

Operating System

Cyberware Description
Chrome Compressor icon Cyberpunk 2077

Chrome Compressor

  • Rebecca doesn’t run a Sandevistan, Berserk or Cyberdeck, so this is the canon-friendly choice for the slot.
  • Costs 0 Cyberware Capacity and adds a large chunk of extra capacity (+70 at max tier).
  • That extra room is what lets us run Chitin, Rara Avis, Immovable Force and the other iconic implants at the same time.
  • Every point over your limit also feeds Edgerunner from the Technical Ability tree.

Location of items:

  • Chrome Compressor: Iconic, Dogtown Ripperdocs (Phantom Liberty DLC), also found in Dogtown airdrops.

Frontal Cortex

Cyberware Description
Self-ICE icon Cyberpunk 2077

Self-ICE

Negates incoming quickhacks from enemy netrunners. With Intelligence at 3 you have no other defense against being hacked.
Mechatronic Core icon Cyberpunk 2077

Mechatronic Core

Increases damage dealt to drones, robots, mechs and turrets. Covers the one enemy type a shotgun build struggles against.
Newton Module icon Cyberpunk 2077

Newton Module

Reduces all cyberware cooldowns on every kill. This build barely uses cooldowns, but the slot needs to be filled for Cyborg and the other “all slots filled” perks.

If you are short on capacity, any cheaper Frontal Cortex implant, such as the Kerenzikov Boost System, works as filler instead of the Newton Module.

Location of items:

  • Self-ICE: Ripperdoc, level 20
  • Mechatronic Core: Ripperdoc, level 10
  • Newton Module: Ripperdoc, level 10

Face

Cyberware Description
Kiroshi Cockatrice Optics icon Cyberpunk 2077

Kiroshi “Cockatrice” Optics

Flat +35% crit chance with no conditions attached. Rebecca doesn’t care about highlighting cameras or explosives, she just wants to do the most damage possible.

Kiroshi “The Oracle” Optics are the alternative if you want to highlight enemies through walls.

Location of items:

  • Kiroshi “Cockatrice” Optics: Iconic, Dogtown Ripperdoc, level 35

Arms

Cyberware Description
Gorilla Arms icon Cyberpunk 2077

Gorilla Arms

  • Rebecca’s oversized cyber-arms from the anime. We use the Physical version, which fits the build best, but any element works.
  • With Jailbreak, attacking now charges the arms. A fully charged strong attack deals massive damage and creates a shockwave that staggers nearby enemies.
  • Limiter Removal makes that shockwave knock down every enemy in range.
  • Pairs with Rip and Tear and Skullcracker for shotgun and melee combos.

Location of items:

  • Gorilla Arms: Any Ripperdoc upon reaching level 10.

Hands

Cyberware Description
Immovable Force icon Cyberpunk 2077

Immovable Force

Reduces weapon recoil even further. The simplest option for the second Hands slot.
Ballistic Coprocessor icon Cyberpunk 2077

  • Neofiber: Any Ripperdoc upon reaching level 20.
  • Visual Cortex Support: Any Ripperdoc.

Weapons for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077

Rebecca uses pretty much every kind of gun in the anime: assault rifles, SMGs, pistols, precision rifles, and even smart and Tech weapons. The perk trees are built around specific weapon families, so pick your loadout accordingly.

That split is why the loadout below carries a shotgun for close range, plus a Tech pistol and a sniper for everything else.

Upgrade: Weapons can be upgraded when you go to the crafting section and then swap to upgrades.

Item Description
Guts icon Cyberpunk 2077

Guts

Rebecca’s iconic shotgun from the Edgerunners anime. This is the weapon that activates the entire left side of the Body tree, including Obliterate, Rip and Tear and the dismemberment chain into Bloodlust.

Shoots faster and deals insane damage at the cost of accuracy.

Lizzie icon Cyberpunk 2077

Lizzie

Iconic Tech pistol that looks like the M-76e Omaha Rebecca uses in the anime. Benefits from both the Cool pistol perks and the Technical Ability Bolt perks, plus the Cellular Adapter.

Fires an extra round per shot, and even more rounds per shot when fully charged. Fires in a burst from the hip.

Borzaya icon Cyberpunk 2077

Borzaya

Iconic Techtronika sniper rifle (Phantom Liberty) that fires explosive rounds. Basically a mini rocket launcher in sniper rifle form.

It also has a chance to apply Burn, and every hit on a burning enemy is a guaranteed Crit.

Canonically, Rebecca is seen using the Unity, the M-76e Omaha Tech pistol, the SOR-22 precision rifle, a Shingen smart SMG and even a heavy machine gun. Iconics are stronger, but feel free to run the canon weapons with your own weapon mods if you prefer.

Alternative weapons

There are a lot of great iconic weapons for this build. Use whatever you like, here are the best options per weapon type.

Shotguns and LMGs (Body)

Pistols, Precision Rifles and Sniper Rifles (Cool)

Assault Rifles and SMGs (Reflexes)

Guts (Iconic Power Shotgun) – How To Get It

Guts icon Cyberpunk 2077

How to get the Rebecca Guts weapon in Cberpunk 2077

Guts is an iconic version of the Carnage power shotgun and Rebecca’s signature weapon in the anime. Let the lead fly: it shoots faster and deals more damage than a regular Carnage, accuracy be damned. It is a heavy weapon that slightly reduces your movement speed and jump height, which is why Like a Feather is mandatory. The recoil is so strong it can even break some of your fall damage.

There is no quest attached. It is a world drop, available once the Watson lockdown lifts after The Heist.

  • Where: Memorial Park, in the middle of Corpo Plaza, City Center (see image).
  • How to Get It: Fast travel to the Arasaka Tower or Metro: Memorial Park point, then take the stairs up to the highest level of the plaza where the holographic koi fish circle above the glass floor. Behind the monks.
  • What to Do: Cross to the southern edge of the circle, directly opposite Arasaka Tower and facing the Militech building. You will find three monks meditating there, which is how you know you are in the right spot. Walk past them into the grass and search the bushes. The pickup icon sits under the first bush on the left.
  • Note: Its tier scales to your level when you pick it up, but you can upgrade it through Crafting > Upgrades all the way to Tier 5++, so grabbing it early costs you nothing.

Lizzie (Iconic Tech Pistol) – How To Get It

Lizzie icon Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 How to get Lizzie Tech Pistol

Not just a lookalike of Rebecca’s M-76e Omaha, this thing is disgusting. It fires in a burst, fires an extra round per shot, and fires even more rounds per shot when fully charged. As a Tech pistol it benefits from Focus and Deadeye in the Cool tree, Bolt shots in the Technical Ability tree, and the Tech weapon damage from the Cellular Adapter.

  • Where: “Automatic Love” (Main Job) Mission, Lizzie’s Bar in Kabuki, Watson.
  • How to Get It: It is Susie Q’s pistol. You find it in a private room next to Judy’s braindance den inside Lizzie’s Bar.
  • What to Do: Grab it while you are in the bar during the mission, before you head out.
  • Note: If you miss it, iconics can be bought later from the Black Market vendor (Herold Lowe) in the Dogtown Stadium.

Borzaya (Iconic Power Sniper Rifle) – How To Get It

Borzaya icon Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 How to get the Borzaya Sniper Rifle

The Borzaya is the iconic version of the SPT32 Grad and part of the Techtronika weapon series that was banned over humanitarian concerns. It fires explosive rounds, very similar to the O’Five, and comes with a +40% Burn chance.

  • Hitting an enemy affected by that Burn always deals Crit Damage.
  • The more enemies burning at the same time, the more Crit Damage you deal, at the cost of accuracy.
  • The explosive rounds set several enemies on fire at once, which is exactly how you stack that bonus.

It is a very heavy weapon: you can still double jump with it, but you cannot dash or sprint while it is drawn. Treat it as a weapon you swap to for a shot, then swap back to Guts.

  • Where: Golden Pacific, Dogtown (Phantom Liberty DLC).
  • How to Get It: It appears in an airdrop near the Brave Atlas after completing Lucretia My Reflection.
  • What to Do: Loot the airdrop before the Barghest or Scavengers get to it.
  • Note: If you miss it, you can buy it from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Stadium.

Prefer the canon look? The SOR-22 power precision rifle is what Rebecca uses in the anime, and the Widow Maker is a strong Tech alternative that also benefits from Bolt.

Gear – Rebecca Jacket Cyberpunk 2077

Since gear is mostly cosmetic, you can wear whatever you want. All of this build’s defense comes from cyberware instead, mainly Chitin, Subdermal Armor, Rara Avis, Epimorphic Skeleton and Bionic Joints.

Rebecca’s Jacket can’t be obtained in Cyberpunk 2077 unless you use mods.

Grenades: Use any grenade you like. Something explosive fits Rebecca’s personality best, like a regular frag grenade, an incendiary grenade or Ozob’s Nose.

Skill Progression in Cyberpunk 2077

This is often overlooked; in the character menu, you can actually click on “Skill Progression”. This will send you to a very powerful mechanic in Cyberpunk 2077.

By leveling up these trees you gain powerful effects.

For our Cyberpunk 2077: Rebecca Build you want to focus on Solo, Headhunter, Engineer and Shinobi. Generally, while playing the game you will naturally level up these anyway. It still pays off to focus on one or two at the beginning.

Leveling Tips for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077

Here are a few general leveling tips for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077.

Perfect Start in Cyberpunk 2077

Here are the steps that I recommend taking with a new Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough.

Starter Build: You can also check out my Cyberpunk 2077 Starter Build that takes you from level 1 to level 15.

  1. Regular Start (Don’t skip ahead to Phantom Liberty).
  2. Immediately after the prologue, once you are out of your room and go downstairs before you enter the elevator.
    1. Weapon Vendor: Buy the Iconic pistol Dying Night.
    2. Coach Fred: Capacity Boosters (in case you get over capacity so you can still move).
  3. Buff Routine: Sleep & Shower. This gives you 20% Skill XP acquisition and Health Regen.
  4. Watson Clean Sweep (NCPD Missions):
    1. Watson is the first district you play in.
    2. Clearing all missions takes 1-2 hours. This will give you at least 10 levels, 15 Street Cred and over 150k Eddies Cash.
    3. Loot all enemies and either disassemble for materials or sell them at the vendor for extra Eddies.
  5. Get the Fenrir SMG from the monk mission. This SMG is insanely good at the start because it often stuns enemies.
  6. Visit a Ripperdoc at level 10: After you have enough money, its time to get chromed up.
    1. Reinforced Tendons (Legs): Allow you to double jump
    2. Kerenzikov (Nervous System): Slows Time by 60% for 2s.
    3. Synaptic Accelerator (Nervous System): Slows time by 20% for 2s when enemy detection reaches 50%.
    4. Whatever else you can fit!
  7. Time to start playing for real. The Pickup mission is waiting for you!

How to make Money

It is actually fairly easy to make money in Cyberpunk 2077. The best way to make money is to clear all the NCPD and Cyberpsycho missions in each district. As previously mentioned, clearing most of the Watson district NCPD mission alone already gives you approximately 150k Eddies Cash.

Upgrade Weapons

Cyberpunk 2077 Upgrade Weapons

This often gets overlooked, but you can upgrade early-game weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. Go to the crafting section, then move to the Upgrade tab. Here you can upgrade all weapons if you have the necessary crafting components.

Gear Scaling in Cyberpunk 2077

Gear scaling is automated in Cyberpunk 2077. The moment you reach a certain level, you will start finding more and more high-quality items. Meaning the faster you reach a higher level the sooner you will find better gear from chests or enemies. That counts for Gear, Weapons, Cyberware, Outfits, etc.

  • Tier 1: Level 1-9
  • Tier 2: Level 10-19
  • Tier 3: Level 20-29
  • Tier 4: Level 30-39
  • Tier 5: Level 40-44
  • Tier Iconic: Level 45-50

How to get Perk Points in Cyberpunk 2077

You need Perk Points to unlock additional Perks for the Rebecca Build in Cyberpunk 2077. Perks are the bread and butter of any CP2077 Build, as they significantly enhance your power.

  1. You get one Perk Point per character level.
  2. Skill Progression awards you with Perk Points.
  3. You can farm up to 13 Perk Shards (10 base game, 3 Phantom Liberty DLC)

Perk Point per Character Level

Not much needs to be said here; leveling up gives you one extra Perk Point.

Skill Progression

Skill Progression Perk Points Cyberpunk 2077

This is often overlooked; the Skill Progression system also awards you Perk Points at 15 and 35. So you can get an additional 10 Perk Points from this.

Character menu > bottom right Skill Progression.

Perk Shards

There are 10 base-game Perk Shards and 3 Phantom Liberty DLC Perk Shards you can collect to earn additional perks in Cyberpunk 2077.

Read Guide: All 13 Perk Shard Locations in Cyberpunk 2077

Here is the full list, click on the hyperlink of each location to see images, it will send you to the full Cyberpunk 2077: Perk Shards Location Guide.
