Welcome to the Stamina Dragonknight Bow Build PvE “Toxin” for ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). Make sure to bookmark the link as I will keep updating the bow build for each new Update of ESO. The “Toxin” build is made for PvE Trials and Dungeons. It features a lot of poison abilities and has great sustain! You can also find plenty of other Stamina Dragonknight content on the website such as:
Other Stamina Dragonknight Guides:

With this build I will show you how you can build your Poison Bow Dragonknight properly. Dragonknights have a lot of nice poison passives that help us with overall sustain. The rotation is also fairly simple because we run the Tzogvin set so we do have less skills to keep up compared to normal build. I will also show both Single Target and an AoE setup.
- Medium Armor
- Bow Bow Setup
- High Single Target (ST) damage
- High Area of Effect (AoE) damage
- Godtier Sustain
- Easy Rotation
- Trials & Dungeons

Gear Dragonknight Bow Build
You will find 3 different setups here. Setup 1 is the preferred setup. People who do not have all the gear yet can use Setup 2 which is easier to obtain and beginners can use Setup 3.
- Setup 1 is with Trial Gear
- Setup 2 is without Trial Gear
- Setup 3 is for Beginners
There are a lot of good Stamina Sets available, you can find more viable stamina dps sets in this Stamina DPS Sets Article. I also elaborate on specific sets that are often used in this article to give you a bit more insight as to why they are used.

Gear Beginner
This gearsetup is pretty easy to get, you need to ask a guildmate to craft you Hundings Rage and Night Mothers Gaze. You can buy Agility in Guildstores, if you want really cheap pieces just buy the Healthy Trait ones, then you can actually invest all points into Stamina and you should get to a decent Health level.

Resource Management for the DK Bow Build
World in Ruin passive really helps tuning down the cost of abilities like Poison Injection, Lethal Arrow, Noxious Breath, Venomous Claw. And even our AoE ability Acid Spray benefits from that passive. Battle Roar is another great passive that will help us sustain. We are also using Dubious Camoran Throne (or Artaeum Food) to increase all our stats, including Stamina Recovery. Make sure to use Potions on cooldown to keep all the buffs up and also regain a lot of resources. Orbs or Shards from Healers are also nice to have and if that is still not enough, use Heavy Attacks.
- World in Ruin passive
- Battle Roar
- Orbs or Spears from Healers
- Potions
- Artaeum Takeaway Broth Food
- Heavy Attacks resource return (optional)
Rotation Dragonknight Bow Build
The “Weaving Beginner Guide” explains how to weave light attacks between abilities, aka animation canceling.
For this build we do have a static rotation. Always prebuff with Flames of Oblivion before you engange into a fight.
Endless Hail > LA > Poison Injection > LA > Soul Splitting Trap > LA > Weapon Swap >
LA > Venomous Claw > LA > 8x Lethal Arrow (With LA) > Noxious Breath > LA > Weapon Swap
Restart
- Every 2nd rotation you want to reapply Flames of Oblivion
- LA = Light Attack
- Activate Ultimate whenever it is ready.
