The Dragon’s Dogma 2 Thief Vocation Class is quick and dexterous while packing heavy damage to targets up close. In a group setting, they function as high damage dealers at the cost of being significantly vulnerable. They are highly valued for their proficiency on climbing larger enemies and delivering high damage to Weak Points. Thieves have very high mobility with a dashing attack in Biting Wind and evasive tools such as Shadow Cloak and Swift Step.

The Thief Vocations’ primary weapons are Daggers and carries skills from Strider in Dragon’s Dogma. They are best suited dashing around and engaging lighter targets or opportune enemies that are targeting other party members.
While they lack AOE damage, they have some utility in Powder Charge’s AOE damage with stagger and Smoke Screen for blinding enemies in an area. Their biggest separation value is seen with skills like Gut and Run where they can focus weak points on large enemies and deliver very high DPS.
The Thief Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is fast paced and a rewarding vocation choice for those players that wish to evade attacks and deliver heavy melee at high speeds. Unlike the Fighter or Warrior, who will have a higher defense and HP pool, the Thief will have more stamina and strength to deliver more damage in their moments of opportunity.
