Welcome to the Talus Guild Boss Guide for Throne & Liberty.

In this guide, we will explain how the Talus Guild Boss works, including all of the boss’ attacks and mechanics and the strategy for dealing with them.

Talus is a level 42 boss who can be fought in the open world or via the guild system. To find Talus in the open world, head to the Raging Wilds. If your guild is level 15 or higher, you can fight Talus via the Guild Hall instead.

We will now look at the mechanics and attacks of the Talus boss.

Talus Boss Mechanics in Throne & Liberty

Below, we have listed the mechanics and attack patterns of the Talus Guild Boss in Throne & Liberty.

  • Standard Attacks – Talus hits out at players within melee range with basic attacks.
    • AOE Wave – If no players are within melee range, Talus instead sends out shockwaves that damage and knock back everyone. Therefore, you should always keep some players in melee range of the boss to stop this from happening.
  • Fury Attack – Like most bosses in Throne & Liberty, Talus has a Fury Attack that must be blocked to avoid the damage. Look for the purple indicator to know when to use your block.
  • Spin Attack – Talus spins his arms around the arena, creating a whirlwind of rocks that deals heavy damage to anyone who gets hit. The best way to deal with this is for the entire raid to stand close to the boss for the duration of the attack so they don’t get hit by the arms. You can also stand on the arena’s edge, but then you won’t be able to attack the boss until the mechanic ends.
  • Wipe Mechanic – Talus spawns three totems in the arena. All players in the raid must run to a totem and use it to charge up a shield to protect themselves. Anyone who doesn’t do this will be instantly killed by an AOE attack that comes shortly after. This is a straightforward mechanic to avoid as long as you pay attention.

After this point, the boss will continue to cycle through the mechanics until the end of the fight.

Talus Mechanics

This is a very mechanically simple boss fight, and you are unlikely to have any significant problems with it as long as you know where to go during each attack and mechanic.
