Welcome, this is a quick guide on how to get the Pinpoint Needler in Halo Infinite. The Pinpoint Needler is the upgraded version of the Needler. You obtain the upgraded version after defeating the high value target boss “Writh Kul” on a mounting in the south of the map, you will need a flying vehicle to get there.
The Pinpoint Needler uses Plasma ammunition. The weapon has homing shots that can track multiple enemies.
Where is the boss location to get the Pinpoint Needler in Halo Infinite?
You can find the location to kill Writh Kul to get the Pinpoint Needler in the south of the map on a mountain. You will need a flying vehicle to get there. The location of the high value target boss is marked with a red circle on the map.
Skirmisher Writh Kul
Writh Kul (Skirmisher, Delta Pack, Third Combat Element, Thieves of the Claw) is the high value target boss (Nr 12 on the target list) that you need to kill to obtain the upgraded version of the Needler. The location is heavily fortified, it is recommended to take out dangerous enemies from above the hills with sniper rifles. Once that is taken care of you can get closer and kill of the rest of the pack.
Writh Kul was born in the Tower of Vet’nos on the asteroid of A’zhd, one of the only cities of this colony to remain unaffected by the constant threat of piracy. After the Great Schism, her name rose to prominence in Tartarus’s circle, largely due to her intellect and strategic wisdom of space warfare, which earned her the role of naval combat architect. Functioning in this capacity, Writh managed to take down over 185 UNSC capital ships, making her one of the most lethal Covenant assets in space.
When the Covenant finally came to an end, however, Writh took her frigate Dagger of Mercy and its crew, and continued ransacking Forerunner relic sites and trading them in the burgeoning post-war, cross-species black market. Although lucrative, she desired to return to warfare and sought out Atriox, for placement in the Banished.
Where can I equip the Pinpoint Needler?
After you have killed the target and its minions, you will be able to get the Pinpoint Needler at any FOB. Go to one of the four weapon caches and rotate to the left to select the Pinpoint Needler. Marines can use this weapon too.
