Welcome, this is a quick guide on how to get the Duelist Energy Blade in Halo Infinite. The Duelist Energy Blade is the upgraded version of the Energy Blade. You obtain the upgraded version after defeating the high value target boss “Okro ‘Vagaduun” in the south western region of the map.
The Duelist Energy Blade uses Power ammunition. The weapon makes you move faster, recover faster, deal more damage and jump higher than the original version.
Where is the boss location to get the Duelist Energy Blade in Halo Infinite?
You can find the location to kill Okro ‘Vagaduun to get the Duelist Energy Blade in the south western area of the map. The location is a bit below the Ransom Keep, the location of the high value target boss is marked with a red circle on the map.
Okro ‘Vagaduun
Okro ‘Vagaduun is the high value target boss (Nr 3 on the target list) that you need to kill to obtain the upgraded version of the Energy Sword. Careful, Okro ‘Vagaduun is very fast and the sword hits hard. Make sure to take him out from range.
For the last decade of the war, Okro ‘vagaduun was considered one of the most lethal infantery assets in the Covenant, and was granted the title Blademaster by the Minister of Resolution for his remarkable combat ability. ‘Vagaduun hailed from a long line of swordfighters and repeatedly defied odds, surviving even when vastly outnumbered.
When the Covenant fell into dismay at the hands of the Prophets, he returned to Suban, the blood-moon of Sanghelios and his birthworld, where he was approached by Atriox with an offer to join the Banished. Only after a year of watching his own people fall to civil war, he agreed. Since then ‘Vagaduun has fought exclusively for the Banished as part of the Bloodbrave, a sect of highly esteemed warriors from his homeworld.
Where can I equip the Duelist Energy Sword?
After you have killed the target and its minions, you will be able to get the Duelist Energy Sword at any FOB. Go to one of the four weapon caches and rotate to the left to select the Duelist Energy Sword. Marines can’t use the Energy Sword.
