During the 2023 ESO Tavern one of the devs accidentally leaked new information regarding the Q4 DLC Content for ESO (The Elder Scrolls Online). The ESO Tavern is an ESO-specific event usually hosted in Germany.

During the Necrom reveal back in January the Creative Director of ESO already announced that we would get an infinite dungeon that we can complete with a buddy in the Q4 DLC for ESO.

The Leak: During one of the interviews at the ESO Tavern the Lead Encounter Designer leaked the name and new sets. The infinite dungeon is called “Endless Archive” and you will be able to obtain class-specific sets as a reward.

Once we know more you will find all info in the Endless Archive Guide page for ESO. The page is work in progress. ESO Builds will be updated and a new section for the Endless Archive will be added if the build setup differentiates too much from the original build.

2023 new Content Lineup for ESO

This year is the first time that we get a different content line up for ESO. Previously we would get Q1 Dungeon DLC, Q2 Chapter, Q3 Dungeon DLC and Q4 Zone and Story DLC. Now this is the first year with the updated content schedule. Q1 Dungeon DLC, Q2 Chapter, Q3 QoL and Bugfixes, Q4 Content Drop.

Basically, the first half of the year is the same but the second half is completely different. Instead of pushing new content in Q3 they will focus on quality-of-life improvements and bugfixes. Q4 is a wildcard. They said that they will introduce new mechanics during Q4. This year it is the Endless Archive with the new class sets.

The Endless Archive definitely sounds interesting. It could be an amazing grinding spot if hordes of enemies keep coming. However, the devs likely know that and might adjust EXP in the Endless Archive. We will have to wait until we can test it out.
