The Dragon’s Dogma 2 Warfarer Vocation Class is a jack-of-all-trades vocation that leverages the strengths of various weapons for different situations. They can learn Skills and Core Skills from other vocations to create a blended powerhouse or multifunctional option. With such a wide range of options, there will be many ways to play the Warfarer vocation.
The Warfarer Vocation can be played with supportive roles bundled together, such as Trickster and Mage Vocations supportive buffs and heals to create a powerful buffer for Pawns. On the other hand, a blend of Archer and Thief will be able to provide a toolkit much like the Strider Vocation from the first Dragon’s Dogma. Aside from being a creation kit for enjoyable combat, players will be able to take advantage of enemies that are susceptible to elemental debilitations easily and exploit these to maximum effect.
All in all, the Warfarer Vocation has a variety of build options and will allow combinations of favourite skill sets in various Vocations. Their weakness lies in a very poor stat line overall which is the tradeoff for the Warfarer. Additionally, they lack access to mastery level skills in other vocations and rely instead on well-crafted and executed weapon combinations to make up for this shortcoming.
The Warfarer is not available at the start of the game. It needs to be unlocked – to learn how to do this check out our Warfarer Unlock Guide.
