Cleric Class Guide Solasta 2

Here you will find a comprehensive breakdown of the Cleric Class in Solasta 2, including all innate Proficiencies, Actions and Passives, and what you can expect to unlock at each Cleric Level.


Cleric Starting Features

Here is what your Cleric will start the game with at Level 1:

  • Cleric Weapon Training – You are Proficient with Simple Weapons
  • Cleric Armour Training – You are Proficient with Light Armour, Medium Armour and Shields
  • Cleric Spellcasting – You start the game with 3 Cleric Cantrips of your choice, and 4 Cleric Spells that can be changed after a Long Rest. Your Spells are cast with Spell Slots, replenished on Long Rests, and their potency is influenced by your Wisdom score.
  • Saving Throw Proficiencies – Wisdom & Charisma

Cleric Higher Level Features

This section describes what you’ll get at each Cleric level.

Level 2

Channel Divinity

  • You can use Channel Divinity Actions once per Short/Long Rest

  • You can spend Channel Divinity to heal an ally by 1d8 HP + your Wisdom Modifier.
  • Alternatively, Divine Spark can deal Solasta 2 radiant damage icon Radiant or Solasta 2 Necrotic Damage Necrotic Damage to an enemy.

Solasta 2 Turn Undead Icon Channel Divinity: Turn Undead

  • Force nearby undead creatures who can see you to flee, unless they make a Wisdom Save.

Level 4

Feat

  • Choose a Feat or improve an Ability

Level 5

Turn Undead (Destroy)

  • Upgrades your Turn Undead. Undead creatures with a challenge rating of 0.5 or lower that fail the Saving Throw will instead be destroyed.

Level 6

Channel Divinity Charges

  • You now have two charges per rest

Level 8

Feat

  • Choose a Feat or improve an Ability

Turn Undead (Destroy)

  • Upgrades your Turn Undead again. Undead creatures with a challenge rating of 1 or lower can now be destroyed.

Level 11

Turn Undead (Destroy)

  • A final upgrade to Turn Undead.
  • Can now destroy Undead creatures with a challenge rating of 2 or below.

Level 12

  • Choose a Feat or improve an Ability

Here, you will find an overview of all Cleric subclasses in Solasta 2, detailing what extra features will be added to the basic Cleric class outlined above.


Battle Domain

The Battle Domain grants powerful combat spells. Its clerics can deal damage as well as provide front-line healing.

Level 3

Battle Domain Spells

The following spells are automatically Solasta 2 prepared tick icon Prepared alongside your existing spells:

  • Solasta 2 magic missile icon Magic Missile – Create three darts of magical force. Each dart deals 1d4 + 1 Solasta 2 force damage icon Force Damage. Each dart can be aimed at a different target.
  • Solasta 2 Shield Icon Shield – When you are hit by an attack, gain +5 Solasta 2 Armour Class icon Armour Class until the start of your next turn. Also protects against Magic Missile.
  • Solasta 2 acid arrow icon Acid Arrow – Deals 4d4 initial Solasta 2 Acid Damage Acid Damage, and another 2d4 delayed damage at the end of the target’s next turn.
  • Solasta 2 Shatter Icon Shatter – Deals 3d8 Solasta 2 thunder damage icon Thunder Damage in a spherical AoE.

Solasta 2 divine fortitude icon Divine Fortitude

  • Gain Temporary HP equal to 3x Cleric Level.
  • Can be used once per Long Rest.

Armed and Ready

  • You can perform the Somatic and Material components of spells even when you have a shield or weapon equipped in both hands.
  • In simple English, this allows your Cleric to cast spells even when you have equipped something in both hands.

Solasta 2 decisive strike icon Decisive Strike

  • Channel Divinity to deal additional Solasta 2 force damage icon Force Damage equal to 2d6 + Cleric Level.
  • Triggered on a successful melee weapon hit.
  • The target must roll a Constitution Saving Throw. If they fail, they are also Incapacitated until the start of your next turn.

Level 5

Domain Spells – Automatically unlocked and always Prepared:

  • Fireball
  • Haste

Level 6

Herald of Battle

  • Empower your nearby allies whenever you use Decisive Strike.
  • While empowered, all Attack Rolls are automatically rerolled on a miss, and they deal additional Force Damage once per turn.

Level 7

Domain Spells – Automatically unlocked and always Prepared:

  • Stoneskin
  • Phantasmal Killer

Level 8

Scholar of Battle

  • You can attack one more time per combat turn when you use the attack or shove actions.

Level 9

Domain Spells – Automatically unlocked and always Prepared:

  • Hold Monster
  • Insect Plague

Life Domain

The Life domain focuses on the vibrant positive energy – one of the fundamental forces of the universe – that sustains all life, and grants unrivalled healing abilities.

Level 3

The following spells are automatically Solasta 2 prepared tick icon Prepared alongside your existing spells:

  • Solasta 2 aid icon Aid – Choose three friendly creatures. Increase their maximum HP for 8 hours. Later on, you can upcast this spell to greatly increase the HP granted.
  • Solasta 2 bless icon Bless – Add a 1d4 bonus to attack rolls and saving throws for 3 allies.
  • Solasta 2 cure wounds icon Cure Wounds – Heals an ally within melee range.
  • Solasta 2 lesser restoration icon Lesser Restoration – Cures either Solasta 2 blinded condition Blinded, Solasta 2 paralyzed condition Paralyzed or Solasta 2 poisoned icon Poisoned. Can be cast on yourself or on a character within melee range.

Disciple of Life

  • When you spend a Spell Slot to heal a creature, it regains additional HP equal to 2 + Spell Slot Level.

Solasta 2 preserve life icon Preserve Life

  • Channel Divinity to restore HP equal to 5x your Cleric Level.
  • The healing can all be given to one character or shared between several.

Level 5

Life Domain Spells – In your list and always prepared:

  • Revivify
  • Mass Healing Word

Level 6

Blessed Healer

  • Casting a healing spell on a creature other than yourself also heals you for (2 x spell level).

Level 7

Level 9

  • Mass Cure Wounds
  • Raise Dead

Oblivion Domain

The Oblivion domain exerts some control over death itself, preventing allies from dying while speeding up the demise of enemies with debilitating magic.

Level 3

Oblivion Domain Spells

The following spells are automatically Solasta 2 prepared tick icon Prepared alongside your existing spells:

  • Solasta 2 inflict wounds icon Inflict Wounds – Deal 2d10 Solasta 2 Necrotic Damage Necrotic Damage in melee range.
  • Solasta 2 sleep icon Sleep – Cast a spherical AoE. All creatures within who fail a Wisdom Saving Throw will fall become Incapacitated until the end of their next turn. The effect ends early if they take damage or are awoken.
  • Solasta 2 calm emotions icon Calm Emotions – All friendly creatures in the area become immune to Frightened and Charmed.
  • Solasta 2 Ray of Enfeeblement icon Ray of Enfeeblement – The target has Solasta 2 Disadvantage icon Disadvantage on all Strength checks, and subtracts 1d8 from all damage rolls. They will roll a Constitution Saving Throw at the end of every turn, recovering on a success.

Solasta 2 gatekeeper icon Gate Keeper

  • Heal a Solasta 2 dying condition Dying ally within 9m for 1 HP at the start of their turn.
  • Can be used a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier per short rest.
  • Allies within 9m of you have Solasta 2 advantage icon Advantage on Death Saving Throws.
  • You always have Solasta 2 advantage icon Advantage on your own Death Saving Throws.

Solasta 2 herald of pain icon Herald of Pain

  • Channel Divinity to deal Solasta 2 Necrotic Damage Necrotic Damage equal to 2d8 + Cleric Level to each hostile creature within 9m of you.
  • Targets also have Solasta 2 Disadvantage icon Disadvantage on Attack Rolls and Ability Checks for up to 1 minute.
  • Targets will attempt a Wisdom Saving Throw to half the damage and block the Solasta 2 Disadvantage icon Disadvantage debuff.
  • Targets who fail the first Saving Throw will roll a new one at the end of every turn, removing the debuff on a success.

Level 5

Domain Spells – Automatically unlocked and always Prepared:

  • Vampiric Touch
  • Fear

Level 6

Strike of Oblivion

  • The first attack of your turn deals additional Necrotic Damage.

Level 7

Domain Spells – Automatically unlocked and always Prepared:

  • Black Tentacles
  • Confusion

Level 8

Mark of Fate

  • Mark a creature, causing it to take additional damage.

Level 9

Domain Spells – Automatically unlocked and always Prepared:

  • Contagion
  • Cloudkill
