Welcome to our short item storage guide for Dragon’s Dogma 2. In this guide we will be explaining how you can store your items safely in DD2 without having to carry everything around with you all the time.

Carrying Capacity can be very restrictive in DD2 especially early in the game. While there are several methods to improve your Carrying Capacity, another way to alleviate this issue is to utilize item storage to keep items that you do not need right now but might need later. For example, if you find an item for a Vocation that you’re not currently using but plan to try in the future, then the item storage would be an idea place to leave it for the time being.

How to Store Items in DD2

From the beginning of the game in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you have a chest storage inventory that you can access, but this is easy to miss if you don’t know about it. This storage space lets you safely store items that you’re not currently using but still want to keep, to save you or a Pawn from needing to carry them around.

There are two different ways to access this storage.

Visit an Inn

This method is available from the start of the game. Whenever you visit an Inn, you can speak with the Innkeeper and choose the Organize Storage option. This allows you to access your storage inventory and deposit or withdraw items as needed.

Use the Chest in Your House

This second method requires you to have a house of your own. Start the quest titled A Place to Call Home in Vernworth to begin the process of getting your first house.

Once you have a house, you can find a storage chest within it. Visit the chest whenever you like to view your storage inventory and deposit or withdraw items.

When going on long adventures, item storage can still be a bit of a problem because you won’t be able to visit your storage chest as easily. Knowing all of the Fast Travel methods in DD2 can help to alleviate this issue somewhat.

We hope you liked this short guide about Item Storage in DD2.
