Welcome, this is a quick guide on how to get the Volatile Skewer in Halo Infinite. The Volatile Skewer is the upgraded version of the Skewer. You obtain the upgraded version after defeating the high value target boss “Ik’Novus The Devourer” close to the FOB Echo on the map.
The Volatile Skewer uses Power ammunition. The weapons special effect is that it has explosive ammunition.
Where is the boss location to get the Volatile Skewer in Halo Infinite?
You can find the location to kill Chieftain Ik’Novus The Devourer to get the Volatile Skewer close to the FOB Echo on the map (west side). The location of the high value target boss is marked with a red circle on the map.
Ik’Novus The Devourer
Ik’Novus The Devourer is the high value target boss (Nr 10 on the target list) that you need to kill to obtain the upgraded version of the Skewer. At his location there are plenty of enemy snipers, make sure to take them out first. After you have done that you can clean out the other enemies and the boss. Ik’Novus has quite a bit of health.
One of the more experienced members of the Banished. Ik’Novus was part of the Covenant attack on Jericho VII that decimated several human cities with unyielding force. Serving under the Brute Chieftain kown as Thrallslayer. Ik’Novus soon became renown for his violent and bloodthirsty nature, uncluding a particular penchant for eating the severed limbs of his opponents while they watched on in agony.
Acquiring the title “Ik’Novus the Devourer” throughout his own meteoric rise to Chieftain, the Jiralhanae wrrior continued to lay waste to human settlements, even after breaking away from the Covenant. His pack, Warial’s Wrath, joined the Banished in 2550 and begain to indiscriminately target any species or faction that stood in their way.
Where can I equip the Volatile Skewer?
After you have killed the target and its minions, you will be able to get the Volatile Skewer at any FOB. Go to one of the four weapon caches and rotate to the left to select the Volatile Skewer. Marines can use this weapon.
