Welcome to the Top 5 Best Weapons Guide for Throne and Liberty. Today we will look at five extremely powerful weapons in Throne and Liberty.
Most of these weapons are difficult to obtain – it could take you anywhere from a week to a year to get one, depending on how lucky you are and if you are able to regularly play the game when the Archbosses spawn. But if you are one of the lucky few to get one of these weapons, it will be a build-defining item and a potential game-changer, making your character significantly stronger.
5 – Queen Bellandir’s Blade
Queen Bellandir’s Blade is a tank-based sword that greatly improves your ability to Crowd-control enemies.
With this sword equipped, using Annihilating Slash will create quicksand that slows enemies down and pulls them to the centre of the quicksand area after 2 seconds (there is a 70% chance of the pull effect happening). The cooldown of the effect is 40 seconds.
This allows tanks to not only Crowd Control lots of enemies at once, but it is also amazing for stacking lots of mobs up in one spot, making it easier for teammates to damage them with AOE damage. This weapon doesn’t provide a great deal of benefit for solo play, but when playing in a group in a dungeon it becomes an excellent item that can make things considerably easier for your team.
The only drawback of Queen Bellandir’s Blade is how difficult it is to obtain – it drops from the Queen Bellandir Archboss, which only spawns once per week and only drops one sword each time. However, you can loot special crafting materials from the boss which may eventually be used to craft the sword. If you are playing as a tank in Throne & Liberty, I highly recommend visiting the Queen Bellandir boss when it spawns, and keep at it until you’re able to get Queen Bellandir’s Blade.
4 – Tevent’s Screaming Bow
Tevent’s Screaming Bow is a Longbow that buffs your Strafing active skill.
When you use Strafing, you will shoot an extra projectile that deals 30% of your Base Damage. This might not sound like much of a bonus, but Strafing is a strong Longbow ability with a fairly short cooldown – you should be using it quite often if you’re a Longbow player, and every t time you do so you will get an extra projectile included with the ability. This increases your DPS and makes for a very useful improvement, even though it’s not as spectacular or exciting as some of the other effects on this list.
Tevent’s Screaming Bow can be obtained from the Tevent Archboss, but the drop chance is very low as with the Queen Bellandir Blade mentioned above.
3 – Queen Bellandir’s Annihilation Crossbow
Another weapon from Queen Bellandir, the Annihilation Crossbow can place a stacking Poison debuff on enemies.
Whenever you land a Critical Hit with the Crossbow, you have a 20% chance to apply Weaken: Poison, dealing 50 damage per second for 3 seconds and stacking up to 3 times.
This weapon synergises especially well with the Daggers, as you will have a higher Critical chance due to your Dagger passives. This is an especially good weapon for PvP – poisoning enemy players will prevent them from healing, and the high attack speed of the Crossbow allows you to continuously apply the poison.
Just like with Queen Bellandir’s Blade, the only way to find this weapon is to fight Queen Bellandir. The chance of dropping the Crossbow is equally low, but it is also possible to craft it if you save up the crafting materials that can drop from Queen Bellandir.
2 – Tevent’s Despair Blade
Tevent’s Despair Blade is a Greatsword that can dish out extra AOE damage.
Inflicting a Collision, Shock or Stun on an enemy creates an area around the target with a 1.5-metre radius. After 1.5 seconds it explodes, dealing 150% Base Damage to all enemies in the area. The damage from this explosion isn’t huge, but it’s not shabby either. Plus, it’s free damage – the Greatsword has plenty of Crowd Control abilities, and you should be using them normally as doing so allows you to form combos that deal higher damage.
Unfortunately, this is another Archboss weapon, meaning all of the previously mentioned difficulties apply here too. This time you need to participate in the Tevent boss fight to have a chance at obtaining the weapon.
1 – Queen Bellandir’s Domination Wand
The Queen Bellandir’s Domination Wand is a ridiculously powerful weapon that you can use to deal heaps of extra AOE damage – contrary to the name, this weapon is actually a Staff, not a wand.
Applying Weaken: Burning creates a 5% chance of applying the Explosive Insect effect. After 3 seconds, the Explosive Insect explodes, dealing 300% of Base Damage to the target, and 600% of Base Damage to all other enemies in a 3 metre radius.
The damage of the explosion is massive – it can make dealing with mobs much faster in PvE, and cause chaos in PvP as players begin exploding on each other without being able to figure out why. The most ridiculous thing about this weapon is that there is no cooldown on the effect – the only limiting factor is the low application chance of 5%. However, the Staff is excellent at applying the Burning debuff to enemies with its various AOE spells.
Ordinarily, Staves are considered to be among the least powerful weapon types in Throne & Liberty, but if you manage to get your hands on this staff then that completely changes things around – you can be an absolute menace in PvP and an asset in PvE groups due to your enhanced AOE damage. In the hands of a skilled player, this weapon is truly a game-changer.
As with the other Queen Bellandir weapons, you may be trying to obtain this for a while, as only one per week will drop directly from the boss.
