Welcome to the Resistance Event Guide for Throne & Liberty.

Resistance Events are a special type of in-game event in Throne and Liberty, newly added to the game in January 2024. Resistance Events are more complicated than regular events, and players are ranked by their participation over several days, rather than the short 20-minute sessions required for regular events.

In this guide, we will explain what Resistance Events are, how you can take part in them and what rewards you can get.

This guide is currently a Work in Progress.

What Are Resistance Events in Throne & Liberty?

Resistance Events are a new type of event in Throne & Liberty. Participating in them requires a much greater time investment than normal events (if you want to attain a high ranking) and in return they offer a greater reward, including the potential to unlock new weapon skills.

Every two weeks, there will be a Resistance Event taking place from Wednesday to Friday. On each one of those days, players can gain score for the Resistance Event by taking part in Dynamic Events. Conflict (PvP) Events will give you the most score,

If you want to participate in the Resistance Event, make sure to check the in-game Timetable to figure out when you need to be online to complete the activities associated with it. If you don’t know how to do this (or how events work in general in Throne & Liberty), we have an Events Guide that you might want to look at. Please note that you must have completed the “Prologue, Island of Children Embracing the Stars” Codex as a prerequisite to taking part in Resistance Events.

What Rewards Can I Get in Resistance Events?

Resistance Events offer rewards that are more geared towards endgame players, compared to regular events (although regular events can still be a great source of income for endgame players).

Players can earn a lot of Skill Training Books by participating in Resistance Events, with larger quantities being given to those who rank higher.

With Resistance Events, you can also progress towards unlocking special skills for your character – there is one active and one passive skill for each weapon type that can be unlocked, many of which are quite powerful. This makes Resistance Events a vital part of your endgame character progression, as you will ultimately be at a disadvantage if you do not unlock these skills.
