Welcome to our 1-50 Leveling Guide for Throne and Liberty. In this guide, we will explain some vital tips and tricks for leveling your character to level 50 as quickly as possible.

Many players want to reach max level as quickly as possible so they can get into the “endgame” content of the MMO, which is arguably where the real fun begins. If this applies to you, then read on to learn how to get your character to level 50 quickly and efficiently.

Getting the Most out of Quests

When you begin your adventure in Throne & Liberty, you will start in Kastleton in the southwest corner of the map.

Right from this early point, we recommend using your Codex to guide you through the leveling process. The most important part is the Adventure Codex, which contains all of the main quests and all of their objectives. Complete these quests as quickly as you can to get lots of XP and level up quickly. The Codex is structured so that it generally guides you to areas that are around the same level as you, so you shouldn’t encounter too many problems with enemies being too difficult.

While progressing through your Adventure Codex, you should also keep an eye on the second tab in the Codex screen, Exploration. This provides additional quests in certain areas – these are typically straightforward quests that require you to perform tasks such as killing a certain number of a named enemy type. Clicking on the quest in question will open the map and highlight the location that you need to go to to complete the objective. These Exploration quests earn you some additional XP as well as all manner of consumable items that will be very useful when you eventually hit level 50, such as Growth Stones for upgrading your gear.

The best way of questing in Throne & Liberty is to keep checking your Codex, multitask both your Adventure and Exploration quests in your current location, finish everything in the area and then let the Adventure Codex guide you to the next area, then repeat the process. It’s up to you how quickly you want to speedrun this – if you want to pay attention to the story when you are doing the quest then that’s fair enough of course, but this will slow down how quickly you can gain XP.

Contracts

Another important part of the levelling process is Contracts. It’s possible to neglect or entirely miss this feature, and using it fits in perfectly with the questing process described above.

Contracts are Throne & Liberty’s take on daily quests – you can take a certain amount each day. Each major settlement in the game has a Contract Manager NPC who can provide you with various randomly generated contracts. The contracts given by an NPC will always have objectives located in nearby areas.

With this in mind, when you are questing in a given area as directed by your Adventure Codex, make sure to visit the Contract Manager NPC in the nearby town and pick up as many Contracts as the game allows. You can then add these to your multitasking routine and aim to complete them alongside the Adventure and Exploration quests in the area.

Completing the Contracts rewards you with XP and other items that will be very useful later, such as gold and Growth Stones.

Some contracts are quicker and easier than others, try to choose the ones that have simpler objectives (some of them are even as easy as harvesting a few tree nodes), and if none of the available contracts look good then remember you can recycle the currently listed contacts and replace them with new ones (this action is limited in terms of how many times you can do it per day, however).

What To Do When You Reach Level 50 in Throne and Liberty

While the main focus of this guide is on quickly reaching Level 50, it’s worth mentioning some of the things you can do once you get there in Throne and Liberty.

If you haven’t already, this is a great time to use some of the Growth Stones, Gold and other resources you have accumulated thus far to upgrade your Skills and Equipment. If you’re still unsure exactly what you want your finished character to look like, we have some builds you might take inspiration from. We also have a community builds page, where other players have posted builds that worked for them.

Keep doing Contracts to earn more Growth Stones so you can upgrade your equipment – prioritizing Weapon Growth Stones, to begin with, makes a lot of sense if you are aiming to be a DPS player, as this will improve your damage output significantly. To get a good starting experience with group dungeons, it’s advisable to at least max out a blue weapon before joining random groups for this content (some guilds might be happy to take you along before you reach that point, though).

In terms of content to do in the game now that you’re at Level 50, this is a good time to open the Secret Dungeons menu (found in the game’s main menu).

Taedal’s Tower is an excellent dungeon to play through if you want to hone your skills while gaining some rewards. This is a solo dungeon featuring 20 boss fights, each one more difficult and complex than the last. It is highly unlikely that you will be able to finish this on your first visit. When it feels like it’s getting too difficult to proceed, that’s a great time to go and do some other stuff (like group dungeons) get some better equipment, improve your character further, and then come back to Taedal’s Tower to see if you can get further with your improved build. We have a Taedal’s Tower Guide that will talk you through the mechanics of each boss in the dungeon, if you would like some extra help or pointers.

This is also a good time to begin checking out the various group dungeons available in Throne & Liberty. Completing these offers a collection of Rare and Epic rewards, including weapons, armour, accessories, Amitoi, Growth Stones and Marinds. If you haven’t already, this is a great time to join a guild and team up with other players to take on these group dungeons.

Throne & Liberty Levelling Guide Group Dungeon Rewards

I highly recommend taking the plunge into some of this content when you reach Level 50 – you probably won’t be amazing when you first start and that’s fine – here you will begin to learn how the endgame of Throne & Liberty looks and what you need to improve with your playstyle and your build, and other players you encounter along the way are likely to offer you help and advice.

You should also begin participating in World Events if you haven’t already. These can be found on the map, and many of them offer essential rewards such as Marinds. Marinds are used for upgrading your skills, and upgrading your skills is another vital part of mid-endgame progression in Throne & Liberty. Upgrading your skills to higher tiers will make them much more powerful, not only increasing their damage/healing/mitigation stats but also unlocking additional effects on the skills.

I hope you found this leveling and progression guide for Throne & Liberty useful.
