Welcome to the Grand Aelon Guild Boss Guide for Throne & Liberty.

In this guide, we will explain how to defeat Grand Aelon, including the mechanics of the boss and the correct strategy for dealing with it.

Grand Aelon is a Level 50 boss and can be fought either in the open world at Purelight Hill, or by summoning it via the Guild Hall if your guild is at least level 17. This is a very easy boss because it doesn’t have many mechanics.

We will now explain how the Grand Aelon boss fight works and how you can beat it.

Grand Aelon Boss Mechanics

The mechanics of the Grand Aelon Boss are listed below:

  • Fury Attack – Like most bosses in Throne and Liberty, Grand Aelon has a Fury Attack that can be identified by the purple indicator. The attack itself is a green shockwave that damages everyone in the room. You need to block the attack to mitigate it.
  • Thorn Cone – The boss sends a conal cleave of thorns in the direction it is facing. Sidestep the thorns to avoid the damage if this is pointed in your direction.
  • Thorny Prison – The boss imprisons several players in thorn cages. The imprisoned players take damage over time from the thorns, which will eventually be fatal, and they are powerless to get out by themselves. The players who are not imprisoned need to attack the thorn cages to free the trapped players before they bleed out.

That’s all there is to the Grand Aelon boss fight. As mentioned above, it is a very simple boss fight due to the lack of mechanics. As long as your group has enough DPS to break the thorn cages before their occupants are killed, you shouldn’t have any major problems during this fight.
