Today we are going to take a look at the best Weapon Combination in Throne and Liberty. Throne and Liberty is an MMO that has a variety of potential weapon combinations available.

Unlike many other MMO and RPG games, Throne & Liberty does not have a rock-solid class system. Instead, your “class” is entirely dependent on the two weapons you have equipped. This choice dictates which skills and passives will be available to your character.

Any character can change their effective class on the fly by simply equipping different weapons. This also gives a lot of freedom and potential build options for every character, which can make it a bit hard to decide exactly which weapons you should go for.

Today, we will aim to describe and explain the best weapon combos in Throne & Liberty, and take a look at exactly why they work so well. We also have some builds available for each weapon combination, so if you find an option that you like and want to begin creating it for yourself, then you can use those builds for guidance if you like.

Best DPS Weapon Combos in Throne & Liberty

Below are some of the best weapon combinations available right now in Throne & Liberty.

One thing that you may quickly notice is that the Daggers feature very often. The reason for this is the high amount of extra crit afforded by some Dagger skills and passives:

The combination of these skills gives you the perfect package for greatly increasing your critical chance and damage. Therefore, using the Daggers as a secondary weapon is an excellent way to buff the damage of any other weapon of your choice.

Crossbow and Daggers

Widely considered to be the strongest single-target DPS weapon combo in Throne & Liberty at the moment, the Crossbow offers rapid-fire ranged attacks, along with the ability to mark your target for bonus damage. Crossbow wielders also gain some useful utility options, such as being able to convert health to mana and remove Binding crowd control effects from yourself.

Combining the Crossbow with the Daggers allows you to add heaps of extra crit to your already formidable damage potential, making for a truly dangerous build.

Longbow and Daggers

Switching out the Crossbow for a Longbow makes your build a little more versatile. While the Crossbow is perfectly suited to single-target DPS, the Longbow is a better choice when fighting multiple enemies at a time, for example during Events or group dungeons. Otherwise, this setup retains most of the same advantages as the Crossbow and Daggers setup mentioned above.

We have two variations of this archetype that you might want to check out:

Greatsword and Daggers

While the versatility of ranged weapons makes the previous two combos easier and more forgiving to use than this one, the Greatsword is the strongest DPS weapon in the game in its own right, and can be used for single-target damage or for taking on groups of enemies.

Combining the Greatsword with Daggers will give you lots of potential critical damage on top of your already hard-hitting melee strikes. If you want to create a melee-only brawler in Throne & Liberty, then this weapon combo is likely to yield the best results.

Check out our Greatsword & Dagger Brawler Build for a setup using these weapons.

Staff and Daggers

While the Staff is not generally considered one of the strongest weapons in Throne & Liberty, it is a vital weapon if you want to play a mage archetype, and it is excellent at dishing out AOE damage. Combining the Staff with Daggers as your secondary weapon can allow you to deal high critical damage against several enemies, giving you unmatched AOE damage potential.

If you go with this setup then your single-target DPS will be less than the other options mentioned in this guide, but you will excel in situations where there are several enemies, such as group dungeons and Events.
