Welcome to the Andentus Guild Boss Guide for Throne & Liberty.
In this guide, we will explain how the Adentus Guild Boss fight works, including all of the boss’ attacks, mechanics and the strategy for dealing with them.
Adentus is a Level 50 boss and can be fought either in the open world or via your Guild. To find him in the open world, go to the Ruins of Turayne. If your guild is at least level 17, you can instead fight him via the Guild Hall.
We will now look at the attacks and mechanics of the Adentus boss in Throne & Liberty.
Adentus Boss Mechanics in Throne & Liberty
Like most of the Guild Bosses in Throne & Liberty, Adentus has a fairly modest selection of attacks and mechanics that aren’t too complicated to deal with, but hit very hard if you do make a mistake.
The mechanics are explained below:
- Hammer Smash – This is arguably the most dangerous attack that Adentus can do, but it can be completely avoided if players pay close attention to what Adentus is doing. If a ranged player has aggro of Adentus, the boss will raise his hammer into the air and then smash it into the ground, dealing heavy damage and stunning everyone in the entire arena. Therefore the tank or whoever else has aggro must stay within melee range of the boss at all times.
- Stone Smash – Adentus smashes the ground with his hammer, sending out a wave of stone in a cone shape, dealing heavy damage to anyone who gets in the way. You can see the telegraph for this attack shortly before it happens, by the cone-shaped area on the ground.
- Spike Eruption – Adentus throws his hammer in the air. When this happens, several AOEs will appear around the room. Make sure you get out of these areas quickly. When Adentus catches the hammer again, he will hit the ground and spikes will erupt from the AOEs, causing big problems for anyone who lingers for too long.
- Fury Attack – Like most bosses in Throne & Liberty, Adentus has a Fury Attack that needs to be blocked. This attack is marked by the purple indicator over the boss. If you time your block perfectly, nothing will happen. However, if you fail the block then Adentus will grapple you with a chain and pull you to the centre, dealing damage in the process.
That’s all of the mechanics for Adentus. As you can see, this boss is very mechanically light. To do well here you just need to have good spatial awareness and decent reaction times.
