Welcome to the Throne and Liberty Tevent Archboss guide. Tevent is an Arcbhoss in Throne & Liberty. Archbosses are an especially powerful type of public world boss, designed to be taken on by very large numbers of players. They only appear once per week – check the Event Calendar to find out when the next Archboss will appear.

Defeating Archbosses grants special rewards to the players involved, including epic weapons (or unique materials for crafting epic weapons). The Tevent Archboss is a Conflict Event, meaning it is PvP enabled and hostile guilds are very likely to be present. This event can turn into a chaotic brawl quite easily, with players trying to fight both the boss and other players at the same time.

In this guide, we will explain the mechanics of the Tevent boss fight, and tips & tricks for succeeding in this fight.

Tevent Archboss Guide for Throne & Liberty

We will now provide you with an in-depth guide for dealing with the Tevent boss fight in Throne & Liberty.

Preparing for the Tevent Archboss Fight

It is recommended to do some basic preparation before taking part in the Tevent Archboss Event. You should at least take a sufficient supply of the following items with you:

  • Potions – Take plenty of health and mana potions so you can heal yourself and avoid mana issues. This is a high-intensity event due to the boss itself and enemy players who will be involved as well, and the boss fight can last for around 30 minutes. With that in mind, you should take a good supply of potions with you.
  • Buff Food – It’s also strongly recommended that you take some kind of buff food with you, ideally of Rare quality. There are several different viable options here, since this is both a PvE and PvP encounter. You can choose to take Rare Quorba Sandwich for increased damage against the boss, or Rare Rotein Muffin for improved damage against players. You might also want to choose Rare Salted Jerky, which will improve your defence. For more options and information about food in Throne & Liberty, please check our Food Guide.

Tevent Mechanics

Below are the mechanics and attacks of the Tevent boss in Throne & Liberty:

  • Crushing Bones – You will see thick purple lines expand from the middle of the room, towards the edges. After a couple of seconds, bones will emerge from the ground, heavily damaging anyone still standing on the purple areas. It can be quite difficult to see the purple areas when there are a lot of players around, so be careful.
  • Fury Swipe – The boss does a wide swipe. This is a Fury Attack and needs to be blocked – look out for the purple indicator. Failing to block this will result in heavy damage. Tevent will sometimes do this attack twice in a row, so be careful if you are standing in front of him.
  • Charge – Tevent will call out, then charge to the edge of the arena in a random direction. Anyone who is in the way will be killed in one hit. This attack may be repeated immediately after.
    • Leap – After charging, Tevent will jump back into the middle of the arena, landing with great force. This will deal damage to everyone on the middle platform and knock them into the air. If your health is low, you might want to retreat off the middle platform for a moment before this happens, otherwise you risk being killed by this attack.
  • Magic Shrapnel – Tevent unleashes shards of magical shrapnel in all directions, damaging anyone who is hit. If you are hit by just one shard then you won’t take too much damage, but getting hit by several can be fatal.
