Welcome to the Junobote Guild Boss Guide for Throne & Liberty.

In this guide, we will explain how the Junobote Guild Boss works, including the mechanics and how to defeat Junobote in TL.

Junobote is a Level 50 boss, and can be fought either in the open world or in your guild hall. To find Junobote in the open world, go to the Sanctum of Desire open world dungeon. If your guild is level 17 or above, you can take on the boss via the Guild Hall instead.

Now we will look at the mechanics of Junobote and the strategy for winning this boss fight.

Junobote Boss Mechanics in Throne & Liberty

Junobote’s attacks deal quite a lot of damage, however there is a very unusual aspect to this boss fight – one of the mechanics involves a quiz of sorts. We will explain more about this, and the other mechanics, below:

  • Fury Attack – Like most bosses in Throne & Liberty, Junobote has a Fury Attack that can be predicted by the bright purple indicator that appears over the boss. Time your block correctly to avoid the damage from this attack.
  • Spinning Swipe – Immediately after the Fury Attack, Junobote does a swipe attack in all directions, damaging anyone who is too close.
  • Flame Breath – A random player will have a fiery red orb appear over their head. Junobote will target this player with his flame breath attack. He will track the player while breathing fire, so if you have this on you then you should move away from other players so they don’t get caught in the fire. Beware that this mechanic is repeated for a second time immediately after.
  • Molten Ring – Junobote fills either the inner or outer half of the arena with intense heat (orange-red AOE), dealing heavy AOE damage to anyone who lingers there. This is easy to deal with – players need to move to the unaffected area. Shortly after, the heat will move to the other part of the arena (from inner to outer or vice versa) so be ready to move again when this happens.
  • True or False – This is the strange “quiz” mechanic that we mentioned earlier. Junobote asks a question with either a true or false answer. There are two statues available, the green Statue of Truth and the red Statue of Falsehood. Players must answer the question by going to the area that corresponds to the correct answer. Players who chose correctly are fine, but if you are incorrect then you’ll be damaged and pushed out of the arena.

Once you have survived all of these mechanics, the boss fight becomes a rinse and repeat until he dies.

Junobote Mechanics Guide

Overall, this is quite an easy boss as long as you get the questions right. Players need decent situational awareness since the fire breath and AOEs do quite a lot of damage if they hit players, but there’s nothing especially challenging other than that.
