This gamebreaking bug in Star Wars Jedi Survivor happens close to the start of the game on the Coruscant Rooftops. After defeating a few enemies you have to press a button to raise a bridge. Once the bridge is up the game tells you to use Bode to attack the Storm Troopers, but nothing happens and you are stuck.
How to fix the freeze: Reset your controller buttons to the default setting to fix the freeze.
Apparently, the developers forgot to incorporate users that change their controller buttons. It only recognizes the default controller buttons.

Some users also reported that simply turning off the tutorial info will solve the issue. However, this option doesn’t exist on Xbox Series X. But like mentioned above, if you reset your controller buttons to the default setting you will also get past it.
