Welcome to the One Bar Arcanist Tank Build for ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). The One Bar Tank Arcanist Build is designed to be robust and also support your team mates if you are grouped with someone.

The Arcanist One Bar Tank Build uses the Drake’s Rush set to increase our and the groups ultimate regeneration by a lot through Major Heroism. The Battalion Defender set auto heals us or our group members every second when we take damage. The heal is insane and we don’t have to do anything for it, it just auto heals all the time.

The Oakensoul Ring Mythic item provides us with a lot of extra juicy buffs, so we don’t have to worry about reapplying these all the time.

The Arcanist Tank Build has access to plenty of shields through the Impervious Runeward skill, Defensive Stance skill and the Gibbering Shelter ultimate. Impervious Runeward’s shield is boosted for the first second, if you time this correctly you can absorb a lot of damage already. Gibbering Shelter absorbs close to 100k damage too if it is active. And Defensive Stance applies another decent shield.

In total if all shields are activated at the same time we can push towards a 100-120k shield. In the screenshot below the shield value is 124’732. Obviously, you won’t need that high of a shield and it would be hard to time all three of them anyway. This is just to show you what is possible.

Arcanist One Bar Tank Setup

5x Battalion Defender, 5x Drake’s Rush, 1x Oakensoul Ring, 1x Stonekeeper on a Nord with Bewitched Sugar Skulls buff food.

• Unbuffed: Out of combat and buff food active.
• Buffed: In combat, buff food, Raid Target Dummy buffs and Potions active.

Setup 1 Gear

• Battalion Defender is a powerful set that heals you every second as long as you block. And with all the stats that we have the healing output is very high. And all that automatically, you don’t have to do anything for it to get the heal.
• Drake’s Rush speeds up the ultimate regeneration for up to 4 players. This will increase the dps and survivability of the group by a lot.
• The Oakensoul Ring applies a lot of very powerful and useful buffs to the player, but limits you to 1 bar only.
• Then we have one piece left, we slot Stonekeeper there for the extra resources that the one piece provides us. However, you can slot anything else here too if you don’t have Stonekeeper.

Setup 1 Skills

The skill setup for the Arcanist One Bar Tank Build focuses on taunting and applying shields to yourself and group members to stay alive.

Skill explanation:

• Sanguine Altar: Applies Minor Lifesteal to enemies, healing you every second. Allies can also activate a powerful healing synergy. This is your flex spot, you can use another skill here if you want.
• Impervious Runeward: Applies a mega shield to you, protecting you from incoming damage. Also heals you when the shield can consume a Crux.
• Runic Sunder: Your taunt. Also applies Minor Maim to enemy, reducing their damage. Generates Crux.
• Defensive Stance: Increases the amount of damage you can block and reduces the cost of block passively. Also applies a shied to yourself if you activate the skill.
• Runeguard of Still Waters: Applies Minor Resolve, increasing armor. You also gain Minor Protection, reducing incoming damage and when you drop below 50% health, it heals you.
• Gibbering Shelter: Absorbs 60% of incoming damage while the ultimate is active. When you receive damage, it also applies shields to allies.
