Welcome to our guide to the Tax Delivery Guild Event in Throne and Liberty.

Tax Delivery is a PvP Guild Event in which taxes accumulated in villages must be transported to the castle. Opposing players can attempt to stop the Tax Delivery and steal some of the spoils.

For your guild to initiate the Tax Delivery Event, they must be in control of the castle to begin with – to do this your guild must win a siege for the castle to topple the previous owners.

You can view the event schedule on the Event Calendar for Throne and Liberty.

How to Begin Tax Delivery in Throne & Liberty

As mentioned above, the first prerequisite is owning the castle.

Once your guild owns the Castle, a member with sufficient authority can use the castle’s Estate Manager to schedule Tax Delivery events.

This will create an upcoming Tax Delivery Event which will be visible on the map for other players. The event will begin at the allotted time unless rescheduled.

Once the Event time arrives, a player with Guardian level or higher must transform into a Titan Cargo by using the Titan Cargo Sealing Stone located near the Tax Manager. Once this is done, the Tax Delivery Event will be fully underway.

Completing the Tax Delivery Event

In order to complete the Tax Delivery Event in Throne and Liberty, the Titan Cargo must reach the Tax Manager located in front of the castle gate before the time limit expires.

What is the Titan Cargo in Throne & Liberty?

The Titan Cargo is a golem transformation that must be assumed by a high-ranking player participating in the Tax Delivery Event. It plays a vital role in the Event, and the outcome depends entirely on what happens to the Titan Cargo.

The player controlling the Titan Cargo is mostly reliant on their guild for protection, but they also have some abilities that allow them to deal AOE damage and brace themselves for incoming damage, gaining a large but temporary amount of damage resistance.

If the Titan Cargo leaves the event area or disconnects, it will return to the Titan Cargo Sealing Stone.

Chokepoints and Ambushes

The path taken by the Titan Cargo is treacherous, and there are features of the landscape that attackers can utilize to help them prevail. Those defending the Tax Delivery should be aware of these dangers and have a plan for dealing with them.

These chokepoints and ambush spots are listed below:

Chokepoint Barrier

A simple wooden barrier blocking the road. The Titan Cargo must destroy it before proceeding, which slows down the defenders and gives the attackers some time to push damage from an advantageous position.

Sandfire Bandits Bomb Carrier

The Sandfire Bandits Bomb Carrier has one purpose – to reach the Titan Cargo and self-destruct. The explosion deals a lot of damage to the Titan Cargo and utilizing this mechanic is one of the best ways for attackers to stop the Tax Delivery and claim the rewards for themselves.

Spokes of Bondage and Archeum Knight

A platform with a wedge that binds the Titan Cargo in place. The Titan Cargo must destroy the platform to move on, buying more time for attackers to take them down. Additionally, Archeum Knights will spawn while the Titan Cargo is trapped in the Spikes of Bondage. These are NPC mobs that will attack the Titan Cargo and deal heavy damage – the defending guild needs to ensure they quickly destroy any Archeum Knights that appear.

This landmark is located in a narrow area near the Stoneguard outer wall and forms another chokepoint that can make it a dangerous place to linger for too long. The defending guild should aim to take control of the chokepoint as quickly as possible (but make sure to defeat any Archeum Knights too) to ensure that the Titan Cargo can move on in relative safety – getting bogged down in this area is likely to be disastrous.

Chaos Golem

A Golem used for attacking the Titan Cargo, the Chaos Golem applies a weakening debuff to the Titan Cargo, causing it to take more damage from the Chaos Golem’s attacks. This debuff can stack up to 10 times. A stack is removed when the Titan Cargo uses its own skills.

Tax Delivery Event Rewards

The rewards for the Tax Delivery Event vary depending on the outcome of the event.

  • If the Delivery succeeds: The Tax is transferred to the castle, and rewards are distributed to Guild Members.
  • If the Titan Cargo is destroyed: If attacking players manage to destroy the Titan Cargo, the Event will fail and the Tax is distributed among the guild who killed the Titan Cargo, depending on their contribution.
  • If the timer runs out: The Cargo returns to the village and the Event ends. Nobody gets any rewards, but the event can be rescheduled.
