Welcome to our guide on Fury Attacks in Throne & Liberty. Fury Attacks are an important combat element in Throne & Liberty, but the term can be confusing for newer players who don’t know what exactly a Fury Attack is.

This guide will explain what Fury Attacks are and why they are important for combat in Throne & Liberty.

What Are Fury Attacks in Throne & Liberty?

Fury Attacks are a feature of Combat in Throne & Liberty where the attacker makes a special attack at their target. Fury Attacks are usually more powerful than other attacks, or cause a detrimental effect on the target when they connect, such as a stun or a damage over time effect.

You will encounter Fury Attacks quite often when fighting PvE enemies. When you see a purple circle indicator appear on top of an enemy, it means they are about to use a Fury Attack against you. The purple indicator is warning you of this, and it helps you to time your response correctly.

How to Counter Fury Attacks in Throne and Liberty

As mentioned above, a purple indicator will appear when a Fury Attack is about to be used against you. The Purple Indicator will gradually fill up, and the exact moment that it is completely full is the time when you should block the attack.

If you timed it correctly, this will be considered a Perfect Block, and you negate the effects of the Fury Attack. Mastering this defensive trick is one of the most important skills to learn in Throne & Liberty’s combat.

You can use your defensive skill to defend against Fury Attacks – each weapon type has a defensive skill associated with it. Defending against a Fury Attack with these skills will enable a special attack that you can perform in response to the Fury Attack. For example, defending against a Fury Attack with a Greatsword equipped changes Iron Point Parry to Murderous Draw, dealing bonus damage with an 80% chance to stun the attacking target.
