Welcome to our Throne and Liberty Healer Build. With this Healing Build, we will be using the combination of the Wand & Tome and Longbow weapons to support and heal allies. The Healer Build has great healing capabilities but can also dish out some damage. Additionally, we also make use of the Transcended One Set that boosts our healing by over 25%!

Note: This Healer build is a work in progress until the launch of the NA/EU servers. The Korean devs are still changing a lot of balancing aspects on the Korean Servers at the moment with every patch.

Healer Build Setup for Throne and Liberty

In this section, we will explain the important components of the Throne and Liberty Healer Build, such as stats, passives, skills and equipment. Please note that you should not focus on equipment too much until you reach maximum level. Use whatever gear you find while leveling.

Weapons Main vs Off-hand

  • Main-hand: Wand/Tome
  • Off-hand: Longbow

Our main hand weapon is the Wand & Tome, and our off-hand weapon is the Longbow. These weapons make a great combination for healing allies. You might think the Longbow is an odd choice but it actually has good healing capabilities, more on that in the skill section of the Healer Build for Throne and Liberty.

Stats

The most important stat for this Healer build is Wisdom, which improves your Max Mana, Mana Regeneration and Cooldowns. Additionally, we also focus a lot on Dexterity and some points into Perception. Focus on Wisdom and Dexterity first before you invest in Perception.

  • 15 Strength
  • 27 Dexterity
  • 28 Wisdom
  • 19 Perception

We also put a few points into Strength to get our Max Health up a bit to not get one shot from bosses. You can adjust this if you need more extra Max Health.

Defense Skill

Each build in Throne and Liberty can slot one defense skill. Because we are using the Wand & Tome and a Longbow we can decide between two skills:

For our Healer Build we want to select the Chaos Shield to increase our defensive capabilities. When you defend against an attack you automatically apply Touch of Despair to the target. When you defend against a Fury Attack the Curse Cooldown will be reduced by 3 seconds and additionally, you restore Stamina for all party members.

Below are explanations of the skills we are using for this Healer Build in Throne and Liberty.

Touch of Despair Wand Tome Skill TL    Curse Explosion Wand Tome Skill TL    Swift Healing Wand Tome Skill TL    Cursed Nightmare Wand Tome Skill TL    Clay's Slavation Wand Tome Skill TL    Time for Punishment Wand Tome Skill TL    Blessed barrier Wand Tome Skill TL    Ensnaring Arrow Longbow Skill TL    Nature's Blessing Longbow Skill TL    Deadly Marker Longbow Skill TL    Purifying Touch Longbow Skill TL    Karmic Haze Wand Tome Skill TL

You will notice that we also have skills in our list that hinder the enemy by reducing their Movement or Attack speed or even binding them to a place for a short time. These are skills that you can cast when you aren’t busy healing.

Wand & Tome Skills

  • Touch of Despair – Applies Weaken: Curse, dealing damage over time.
  • Curse Explosion – Deals damage. Enemies within 5 metres of the target who are Cursed take bonus damage.
  • Swift Healing – Heal the target.
  • Cursed Nightmare – Reduces Movement and Attack Speed, and applies Curse: Sleep. When the Sleeping target is hit, the attack is a Critical Hit, and Sleep is removed.
  • Clay’s Salvation – Restore the health of all allies within range.
  • Time for Punishment – Apply a Curse that makes the target more vulnerable to damage for 9 seconds.
  • Blessed Barrier – Increases Melee, Ranged and Magic Defence. Improves Healing during the day, and improves Endurance during the night.
  • Karmic Haze – Uses Weaken to spread activated Curse from the main target to up to 3 others within a 5m range by 80% chance.

Longbow Skills

  • Ensnaring Arrow – Deals damage, and has an 80% chance to Bind the target.
  • Nature’s Blessing – Creates a 16 metre radius that improves the Health Regen of party members within.
  • Deadly Marker – Mark a target, increasing your Hit and Critical Hit chance against the target for 9 seconds. You and your party members reduce your remaining Skill Cooldowns by 1% and the remaining Glory Aura Cooldown by 6% when hitting the marked target. Cooldown Reduction effect is halved against Monsters.
  • Purifying Touch – Removes 1 CC effect from the target, prioritizing Action Disabling effects, then Movement Disabling effects, then Weaken. Also improves your Attack Speed for 3 seconds.

Passives

Below are explanations of the passives for our Throne and Liberty Healer Build. It isn’t important in what order you slot the passives.

Devotion and Emptiness passive Wand Tome Skill TL    Wraith's Beckon passive Wand Tome Skill TL    Vampiric Contract passive Wand Tome Skill TL    Noble Revival passive Wand Tome Skill TL    Saint's Oath passive Wand Tome Skill TL    Flawless Spirit Selfless soul passive Wand Tome Skill TL    Devoted Shield passive Longbow Skill TL    Distorted Sanctuary passive Longbow Skill TL

Wand & Tome Passives

  • Devotion and Emptiness – During the day, your Skills heal for a bit more. At Night, your Skills’ Damage over Time is increased by a bit instead.
  • Wraith’s Beckon – Increases the duration of Curses you inflict by a few seconds.
  • Vampiric Contract – Every attack that hits a target Cursed by you restores a small percentage of the attack’s damage as Health to a nearby friendly target. If there are no friendly targets in range, you are healed instead.
  • Noble Revival – Your Skill Healing is increased by a small amount for every 1,000 Max Mana.
  • Saint’s Oath – Skill Heal, incoming Skill Heal, Amitoi Heal, and Recovery Crystal Heal have a small chance to increase by 10% for 3 seconds when you take Skill Damage. Stacks up to 10 times.
  • Selfless Soul – Increases Mana Regen by a bit when you cast a buff on a friendly target. Stacks up to 10 times.

Longbow Passives

  • Devoted Shield – When Weakened, you have a small chance to create a Shield of 3,000 health that lasts for a few seconds.
  • Distorted Sanctuary – Increase Melee, Ranged, and Magic Endurance by a bit, and increase Melee, Ranged, and Magic Defense by a bit per one party member including yourself within a medium radius.

Skills and Passives Upgrade Priority

Upgrading Skills and Passives in the right order will make combat a lot easier in Throne and Liberty. However, it also takes quite a long because you need so-called “Growth Stones” to upgrade and the higher quality ones are difficult to get. Therefore it is important to plan ahead which skills you want to upgrade first.

Note: You unlock higher level skills already in a higher quality such as Rare or Epic. So you won’t have to upgrade all of the Skills.

We are going to focus on skills first that increase our defensive capabilities for the Throne and Liberty Tank Build. Follow this as closely as possible. However, you can make detours and it won’t affect the build much. In the end you will max out all Skills anyway.

Skill Growth Upgrade Priority for Healer Build TL

Weapon Mastery

When you are playing Throne and Liberty you will notice eventually that there are Weapon Mastery trees. This allows you to get additional perks that boost the power of your character. You automatically gain points in the Weapon Mastery tree by simply playing with that specific weapon type. We are going with the Recovery section as seen below in the screenshot.

Note: Only the perks from the Weapon you are currently actively holding are active. That means when you are on your Wand & Tome only these Weapon Mastery perks are currently active.

For our Throne and Liberty Healer Build, we are going to focus on the Recovery tree. Simply keep adding points until you reach the end. We get a great perk early on called Redemptive Penance that increases our Skill Heal for the build.

  • Melee Defense
  • Attack Speed
  • Redemptive Penance (Skill Heal)
  • All Evasion
  • Range Up
  • Merciless Wraith (Heavy Attack Chance)
  • Buff Duration
  • Mana Regen
  • Spiritual Locus (Mana Cost Efficiency)

Healer Build Weapon Mastery Throne and Liberty

For our Longbow Weapon Mastery tree, we want to take the Support perks. But first, prioritize the Wand & Tome.

Equipment Armour and Jewelry

When you are leveling up this build don’t worry too much about gear. The gear itself only becomes important after level 50. Therefore make sure to simply equip whatever you find and focus on leveling up your skills.

Important: Getting the correct traits for each item piece is very time-consuming, even if you don’t have the perfect traits the build will still perfectly work.

Type Item Needed Traits
Main-hand Wand & Tome Lequirius’ Grip Health Regen, Buff Duration, Magic Crit Hit
Off-hand Longbow Grand Aelon’s Sacred Bow Man Regen, Max Mana, Ranged Heavy Attack Chance

We are using the Transcended One Set, if you wear 4 pieces (Available in: Chest, Gloves, Pants, Boots, Hat) of this you get the following bonuses that are very strong for our Healer Build:

  • 2 Items: Cooldown Speed +7.5%
  • 4 Items: Skill Heal +25%

The extra Skill Heal is huge, but it will take you a long time to farm the complete set thanks to RNG.

The Transcended One set pieces drop in the following locations:

Type Item Needed Traits
Head Transcendental Clairvoyance Max Mana, Mana Regen, Melee Evasion
Cloak Archpriest’s Devotion Max Mana, Mana regen, Debuff Duration
Chest Transcendental Saint Raiment Max Health, Melee Evasion, Buff Duration
Gloves Transcendental Mystery Gloves Max Mana, Melee Evasion, Magic Evasion

How to Play the Throne and Liberty Healer Build

Now that we have explained how to create the Throne and Liberty Healer Build, we will cover the best ways to play the build to get the best out of it.

Defense and Healing

The Healer Build is quite squishy, which is why we put a few points into the Strength stat to gain some extra health. If you think you will need even more health you can keep adding extra points there and take some away from the other stats.

Your two main healing skills are Swift Healing and Clay’s Salvation. The first is a single target skill and the second one is an AoE heal. Additionally, you also have Nature’s Blessing that increases Health regen by a lot and if upgraded also adds Mana Regen to the mix. Blessed Barrier increases the defense of allies by a lot.

An important passive that is worth mentioning is the Devotion and Emptiness passive, it increases healing by a lot but only during the day, make sure to keep track of that!

Make sure to activate our defensive skill Chaotic Shield, players often forget that they have this available too. When you activate this defense skill, you automatically apply the active skill Touch of Despair.

Touch of Despair and Curse Explosion work well together. If you place Curse Explosion on a target that already has Touch of Despair, allies gain a Health Shield, this is an important combo that you need to learn.

Healer Build Rotation

The Healer Build doesn’t have a rotation per se. Keep up the buffs on your allies and heal when needed. Most importantly keep track of your cooldowns!

Healer Build Tips & Tricks

  • Don’t focus too much on gear early on. Gear farming only becomes important after you hit max level.
  • Get equipment that gives you extra Max Health, Max Mana and Mana Regen.
  • Always keep track of your cooldowns, especially on the high cooldown Skills.
