Executor Build for The First Descendant
This is a Single-Target DPS setup.
Next, let us take a look at an optimized Executor Build for The First Descendant. The Executor is best optimized to have as much burst damage as possible.
Here is all the info you need to create a powerful Executor Build:
Note: High-Level Weapon Cores boost your weapons’ damage numbers into insanity. Make sure to get weapon cores as soon as possible!
Executor Modules
Modules are an important part of every weapon build in The First Descendant. For the Executor shotgun, we want to focus on elemental damage (in our case fire, but use whatever element your enemy is weak to!), and increase our Multi-hit chance to proc more effects!
- Flex Spots: I will indicate modules that you can replace with (Flex).
- Elemental Damage: Adjust the elemental modules depending on what enemies you fight (Enemy elemental weakness)
Module Slot | Module Name | Socket Type |
---|---|---|
1 | Action and Reaction | |
2 | Fire Rate UP | |
3 | Fire Enhancement | |
4 | Rifling Reinforcement | |
5 | Multi-Percussion Sight | |
6 | Shell UP | |
7 | Multi-Trigger Support Ammo | |
8 | Multi-Piercing Trigger | |
9 | Fire Priority | |
10 | Fire Conductor |
Weapon Readjustment
You can use the Weapon Readjustment at the Weapon Workbench in Albion. Here are the best Weapon Readjustments for the Executor:
- Firearm ATK
- Elemental Damage
- Multi-Hit Damage
- Multi-Hit Chance
Try to upgrade the Weapon Readjustments to at least purple quality.
Weapon Cores
Weapon Cores juice up your damage quite tremendously. However, especially the later-level Weapon Cores are difficult to get. So start with whatever weapon cores you have available. Weapon Cores drop in the Void Erosion Purge endgame activity.
Higher level Weapon Cores drop in the higher level Void Erosion Purge levels in The First Descendant. However, you can gradually work towards the highest level. I recommend trying to get to level six as soon as possible, since it won’t require clearing many stages and will already increase the power of your weapon tremendously.
Best Weapon Cores for the Executor:
Fire Rate (Free Augmentation)
Firearm ATK (Firepower Augmentation)
Aimed Shot Accuracy (Precision Augmentation)
Aimed Shot Accuracy (Precision Augmentation)
Flex (Special Augmentation)
The first two cores are most important, the others don’t really matter that much!
Executor Launcher Lore
The advanced technology of the Colossi provided endless inspiration not only for the Magisters but for all of Albion’s researchers. In particular, Executioner was used in many studies that involved improving a weapon’s performance through the use of electromagnetic force.
After researching the high conductivity of Executioner’s components and its energy efficiency, which proved much higher than was possible in Albion, they were able to collect the repulsive force of each firing of the weapon and store it in an electric battery.
While they succeeded in concentrating and utilizing some of the electric energy, it was nowhere near the power the Colossus could harness.
