Introduction
Welcome to the Stamina Sorcerer PvP build “Ride the Lightning” by Fengrush for PVP Elder Scrolls Online. Make sure to bookmark the link as we will keep updating the build.
This build is a damage dealing and crowd controlling PvP build, ideally used in the battleground environment, that focuses on high mobility, very high mag and stam sustain, and high pressure with dots and proc sets. It may work in a solo no-cp cyrodiil scenario, but any form of organized group-play a stat based set up would be more appropriate.
Although the damage aspect of this build is fairly simple (apply dots, procs will land, whirling blade to execute / secure kills), the overall playstyle is not easy to master and requires practice to effectively survive in the current high damage meta.
Effective positioning, intelligent kiting and well-timed dodging and line of sighting is essential to master this build. It handles very well in 1v1s with it’s high pressure and can easily single out targets, and it contributes very useful crowd control with Bombard and Streak.
This build uses Shadows of the Red Mountain, Venomous Smite, Prefected Stinging Slashes and Torc of Tonal Constancy.
Resource Management
This build invests a lot into Magicka and Stamina sustain, achieving a high base regen through enchants and the choice of food, as well as mythic item Torc of Tonal Constancy when low. A high magicka sustain is crucial for most stamina sorcerer set ups, and here it allows for constant Streak, providing CC and mobility, and more stamina sustain through Dark Deal, which also offers a burst heal. Two stamina reduce cost glyphs allows for consistent casting, especially Whirling Blades, which is an expensive skill, in order to secure kills.
I’d recommend watching the gameplay portions of the video to better understand how to manage your resources as well as practicing and getting used to the playstyle.

Important Info
Buff-food
Orzorga Bear Haunch is a ideal for this set up. It gives max health as well as health regen, magicka and stamina regen. The health regen is an important addition due to the recently nerfed PVP healing.
Mundus Stone
The Steed (Movespeed increase & Health Recovery)
The Steed is a fairly efficient mundus, and pairs well with more health recovery and movespeed to outrun any engagement as long as your resources are there.
Race
Orc
The Orc race is a decent choice for this set up. We are not running any swift jewelery traits nor the Ring of the Wild hunt, therefore the orc passive will not be wasted (as we likely do not exceed the speed cap). Also the additional weapon damage is always appreciated for a higher vigour tool tip as we do not invest much into stats for this build.
Potions
Immovability Potion
Immoveable / Stamina / Healing. These potions allow you an uninterrupted offensive window to secure kills. They also provide Major buffs for 20% regen to stamina and health which is always important. Tri-pots can be used as well with this build for better nonstop recovery.
