Welcome to the Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeon XP Farming Tier List.

In this Guide, we will rank the Nightmare Dungeons of D4 based on how suitable they are for a late game XP Grind.

Farming XP from Nightmare Dungeons is useful in the late and endgame of Diablo 4, for progressing through the Paragon system and upgrading your Glyphs.

We’ll be ranking the dungeons based on the difficulty of running through them (if the dungeon is too hard then it’s likely bad for XP farming) and how quick the XP gain is when you are running through the dungeon.

Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeon XP Farm Tier List

Below are the Tiers, along with their associated dungeons. We’ve divided them into tier S, A, B and C, with S being the most optimal and C being the worst. You can click on the dungeons to see their location on the map.

S-Tier Nightmare Dungeons

S-Tier Nightmare Dungeons offer the most optimal experience for grinding XP. They are:

• Blind Burrows
• Aldurwood
• Guulrahn Canals
• Champion’s Demise
• Earthen Wound
• Onyx Hold

A-Tier Nightmare Dungeons

A-Tier Nightmare Dungeons still offer a very proficient XP Farm, but they are not quite as optimal as the S-Tier ones. It still might be worth taking a look at these to see if you prefer them.

• Cultist’s Refuge
• Abandoned Mineworks
• Maulwood
• Kor Dragan Barracks
• Maugan’s Works
• Sunken Ruins
• Raethwind Wilds

B-Tier Nightmare Dungeons

B-Tier Nightmare Dungeons can offer decent XP gain, but are considerably worse off than the dungeons higher up in the list. If you really like one of the dungeons in this section then it might still be worth doing it.

• Zenith
• Serpent’s Lair
• Demon’s Wake

C-Tier Nightmare Dungeons

C-Tier Nightmare Dungeons are poorly suited to XP Farming in general, and you’re better off avoiding them and sticking to the dungeons higher up on the list.
