Today we are going to take a look at how to obtain the Vigo’s Protecting Amulet in Diablo IV. This is the Necklace that creates the protective bubble around the player rendering him immune to any damage. This item basically gives you god mode for a few seconds.
Vigo’s Protecting Amulet Effect in Diablo IV: When hit while not Healthy, a magical bubble is summoned around you for 7.5 seconds. While standing in the bubble players are Immune. Can only occur once every 90 seconds. Immune: Characters cannot be damaged and all negative effects are removed and prevented.
How to acquire the Vigo’s Protective Amulet in D4
To get the Vigo’s Protecting Amulet in Diablo 4 you have to progress the story and complete the “Descent” (Slay Lilith’s Lament) quest. This quest is obtained after you complete “Crossing Over” which sends you and Nyrelle to the Black Lake where Nyrelle “revives” her mother Vhenard. Vhenard will help you cross the pathway and create a blueish bridge that leads into the next zone.
After this cutscene the “Descent” quest starts. Now all you have to do is follow the path up until the last boss of the quest which is called “Lilith’s Lament”.

Now all you have to do is defeat the endboss of the “Descent” quest which is called “Lilith’s Lament”. The boss fight might be a bit tricky if it is your first time playing Diablo 4, but with enough time and endurance, you can defeat him. Afterward you will see a cutscene with Vigo, after his death he will drop the Protective Defensive Amulet, pick it up!
