Rogue Class Guide Solasta 2

Here you will find a comprehensive breakdown of the Rogue Class in Solasta 2, including all innate Proficiencies, Actions and Passives, and what you can expect to unlock at each Rogue Level.


Rogue Starting Features

Here is an overview of what your Rogue can do at the start of the game in Solasta 2:

  • Weapon Proficiencies – Simple Weapons, Longswords, Shortswords, Rapiers, Hand Crossbows
  • Armour Proficiencies – Light Armour
  • Saving Throw Proficiencies – Dexterity & Intelligence
  • Rogue Skills – Choose 4 from Acrobatics, Athletics, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Perception, Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, Stealth
  • Expertise – Select 2 of your Proficient Skills and double their Proficiency Bonus.
  • Rogue Tools – You have Proficiency with Thieves’ Tools
  • Sneak Attack – Make an attack and deal an extra 1d6 damage (increased by another 1d6 every 2 levels) with a finesse or ranged weapon, once per turn. Requires either Advantage against the target or an ally to be next to the target.
  • Thieves’ Cant – You know Thieves’ Cant and one other language of your choice.

Rogue Higher Level Features

This section explains what your Rogue will get after each level up in Solasta 2.

Level 2

Cunning Actions

  • You can Dash, Disengage, or Hide with a Solasta 2 bonus action icon Bonus Action.

Level 3

Solasta 2 Steady Aim Icon Steady Aim

  • Use a Solasta 2 bonus action icon Bonus Action to give yourself Solasta 2 advantage icon Advantage on your next attack roll on the current turn.
  • You can only use this feature if you haven’t moved during the turn.
  • Using Steady Aim reduces your Movement Speed for this turn to zero.

Subclass – Choose which subclass your Rogue will use.

Level 4

Feat

  • Select a Feat or improve an Ability score.

Level 5

Uncanny Dodge

  • When an attacker you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your Reaction to halve the damage.

Level 6

Improved Expertise

  • Select another 2 Proficient Skills and double their Proficiency Bonus.

Level 7

Evasion

  • When subjected to a Dexterity Saving Throw to halve the damage of an AoE, you will instead take no damage if you succeed the throw, and half damage if you fail.

Level 8

Feat

  • Select a Feat or improve an Ability.

Level 10

Feat

  • Select a Feat or improve an Ability.

Level 11

Reliable Talent

  • Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your Proficiency Bonus, you can treat rolls of 9 or lower as a 10.

Rogue Subclasses Solasta 2

Here, you will find an overview of all Rogue subclasses in Solasta 2, detailing what extra features will be added to the basic Rogue  class outlined above.


Scavenger

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. In places where resources are scarce and danger aplenty, Scavengers are expert survivalists who know how to put every last piece of scrap to good use.

Level 3

Serrated Edge

  • Once per turn, the first time you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you deal an additional 1d6 Solasta 2 Slashing Damage icon Slashing Damage.

Haggler

  • You and your party can buy items for 10% less and sell them for 10% more in shops.

Level 9

Slippery Fellow

  • You can use your Cunning Action to Dodge.

Shadowcaster

Shadowcaster Subclass – Solasta 2

Shadowcasters are trained in arcane magic as well as in roguish abilities. They are tricksters who use magic to make their moves even more unpredictable and unstoppable. Some believe they don’t really exist.

Level 3

Shadowcaster Spellcasting

  • You can learn 2 Cantrips and 3 Spells from the Wizard spell list.
  • You cast the spells using your Intelligence Modifier.
  • Whenever you level up, you have the option to replace one of your prepared spells or cantrips.
  • You unlock more slots for prepared spells as you level up.

Shadow Casting

  • When you deal damage with a spell or cantrip requiring an Attack Roll, you can use your Sneak Attack as if you were attacking with a finesse or ranged weapon.
  • All other rules for Sneak Attacks still apply.

Level 9

Into the Shadows

  • As a bonus action, teleport to a cell you can see.
  • Recharges after a short rest.
  • You also learn two additional Cantrips.
