Welcome to our Pacts List for Soulframe. This guide will list all of the available Pacts in Soulframe, so you can see what comes with each Pact. Some players refer to Pacts as Classes, since that is a more common term in RPG games. If you see somebody talking about classes in Soulframe, they are referring to Pacts.

This guide is up to date with Soulframe Preludes 11.

Table of Contents:

Tethren

Tethren is one of the three starting Pacts in Soulframe. Players who pledge to Courage at the beginning of the game will start with the Tethren pact.

Tethren is a warrior who specialises in melee combat, capable of dealing devastating damage with longswords, polearms and other courage-attuned melee weapons.

Tethren Arcanics

Tethren has the following three Arcanics, which are unlocked as you level up:

  • Fellust – Deal extra damage on consecutive weapon hits. The damage bonus builds up with each successful hit. Missing an attack reduces the bonus.
  • Call of Ancients – Taunt nearby enemies, causing them to attack you instead of your allies. Gives you a damage bonus and damage mitigation while active.
  • Clash – Stagger and stun nearby enemies. Gain increased resistance to stagger.

How to Unlock Tethren

If you didn’t pledge to Courage at the start of the game, you can still unlock Tethren later on.

You must join the Kith of Kings Faction and obtain enough Faction Standing to purchase the Tethren Pact. You can then craft Tethren by visiting Tuvalkane in Nightfold.

Oscelda

Oscelda is one of the three starting Pacts in Soulframe. Players who pledge to Spirit will start their game with Oscelda.

Oscelda is a spellcaster who commands nature-themed magicks to stun and damage enemies and heal their allies.

Thanks to its abundant self-healing, Oscelda is the most beginner-friendly Pact in Soulframe, and it is also quite versatile. Most melee weapon types in Soulframe contain a weapon that is attuned to Spirit, allowing Oscelda players to turn their mage into a melee fighter with ease. This role fits with Oscelda surprisingly easily, thanks to the plentiful crowd control and healing provided by this Pact.

Oscelda Arcanics

The Oscelda Pact starts with the following Arcanics:

  • Bestone – Temporarily turns an enemy to stone.
  • Phantom Flock – A flock of phantom songbirds attacks your target, dealing damage over time and hindering their movement.
  • Elderbloom – Create an AoE at your location that applies healing over time to yourself and allies.

How to Unlock Oscelda

Pledging to Spirit at the beginning of the game will automatically unlock Oscelda. If you Pledged to Courage or Grace, you’ll need to unlock Oscelda manually.

To unlock Oscelda, you must join the Alca’s Children faction and obtain enough Faction Standing to purchase it. After buying the Pact, visit Tuvalkane in Nightfold to craft it.

Sirin

Sirin is one of Soulframe’s three starting Pacts. Players who pledge to Grace will start their game with the Sirin Pact.

Sirin starts as an archer with a Longbow who uses stealth and trickery to get the upper hand on foes. This means that you don’t have any melee capability at the start of the game, which makes Sirin tough to play for some beginners. You can craft a Grace attuned melee weapon later on, but the Longbow works very well with Sirin, who can stun many enemies at once, or trick them into gathering around a decoy, and then unleash deadly AoE attacks with their Longbow’s charged attack.

Playing melee is just as viable, though. If you intend to play on your own, it is advisable to unlock the Sympathy Art as soon as possible when levelling up Sirin, which will give you the ability to absorb HP from enemies.

Sirin Arcanics

  • Picktrix Powder – Unleash a blinding flash of light that stuns nearby enemies.
  • Trick of the Light – Summon a decoy that attracts nearby enemies, exploding when they get too close.
  • Glamour – Turn invisible. You can use this to escape from combat or to sneak up behind an enemy for bonus backstab damage.

How to Unlock Sirin

Sirin is the starting Pact for players who pledge to Grace at the start of the game. Everybody else must unlock Sirin.

To unlock Sirin, you must join the Silent Rose faction. Earn enough Faction Standing in the Silent Rose, then purchase Sirin as a Favour. Finally, visit Tuvalkane in Nightfold to craft the Sirin Pact.

Orengall

Orengall is an unlockable Pact in Soulframe that allows you to summon Spirit Wolves to help you in combat.

Focusing on the Spirit Virtue is advisable with Orengall, since this Pact gives you passive bonuses to your Spirit stat, and high Spirit will increase the duration of your summoned Spirit Wolves, allowing you to have more of them active at once.

Orengall can feel a bit weak at first, but once you are able to keep several wolves summoned simultaneously, things will start getting easier. The wolves are great at distracting and tanking enemies, and when you are at maximum level, they are strong enough to take out enemies by themselves.

Garren Rood Pact Soulframe

Orengall Arcanics

  • Werewalker – Your soul scouts ahead in the form of a wolf. You can use this to initiate combat by ambushing an enemy with a powerful attack. It can also be used to traverse the world more quickly, but you must make an attack before it expires, or you’ll be teleported back to where you started.
  • Packhunter – Summon a Spirit Wolf to help you in combat. You can have several wolves active at once.
  • Howl – Increases Courage and Smite Chance for you and nearby allies. Ode’n Dogs temporarily turn on their masters.

How to Unlock Orengall

To unlock Orengall, you must complete the Shewolf Snared fable.

You can then visit Tuvalkane to craft the Orengall Pact. This requires a Bond of Level 3 with Tuvalkane.

Garren Rood – Soulframe Pact

Garren Rood has an affinity with the Spirit virtue. It is masterful at crowd controlling enemies, and can leech HP and redistribute it to allies, making it great as a support role when playing in a group.

You can play solo with Garren Rood just fine, but it is the weakest Pact in terms of damage potential. On the other hand, the HP leech from Torment can heal your entire health bar, so a patient and skilled player can survive almost anything Soulframe can throw at you with the Garren Rood Pact.

Garren Rood Arcanics

The Garren Rood starts with the following Arcanics:

  • Torment – Leech HP from enemies and restore it to your allies.
  • Behest – Blind and Immobilize enemies in an area, making them extremely vulnerable to your next attack.
  • Stampede – Call forth a stampede to stun and damage all enemies in the target area.

How to Unlock Garren Rood

You can unlock the Garren Rood Pact by completing the Torment Stag fable. This fable is currently quite early in Soulframe’s story (which is not finished, so later on it might take longer to unlock).

Once unlocked, you can craft Garren Rood with the help of Tuvalkane in the Nightfold. You must have a Level 3 Bond with Tuvalkane to craft Garren Rood.

Ode Tempest – Soulframe Pact

Ode Tempest is one of the Pacts (classes) in Soulframe. It has an affinity with the Courage virtue, so Ode Tempest players will typically benefit from investing in Courage.

The Ode Tempest Pact helps you to fight in melee and deal AoE damage with lightning, or by hurling a boulder to knock over all enemies who stand in its path.

The Astra Sphere Arcanic applies a powerful buff to your melee attacks; with the right weapon, your heavy attacks can potentially one-shot even heavily armoured, high level enemies while this is active. In combination with Atmos Sphere, which makes you almost immortal, Ode Tempest can pull off insane bursts of unstoppable damage output, making it the most powerful Pact in Soulframe as of Preludes 10, by a significant margin.

Ode Tempest Arcanics

The Ode Tempest has access to the following Arcanics (spells):

  • Seismor – Bowl a Seismor, a ball of destruction to push away and damage all enemies in its path.
  • Astra Sphere – Conjure a storm inside a sphere, dealing Voltaic damage to all enemies within and boosting your attacks with extra Voltaic damage.
  • Atmos Sphere – Shields you from strikes while active, giving you temporary immunity to most damage and knocking back attackers.

How to Unlock Ode Tempest

The Ode Tempest can be unlocked by players in the Alca’s Children or Silent Rose factions. You must advance to Rank 5, then attain sufficient Faction Standing to purchase Ode Tempest in the Favours shop.

Once unlocked, you can craft Ode Tempest by visiting Tuvalkane in Nightfold.

Mora’s Hand

Mora’s Hand is a Courage-attuned Pact centred around fire-based attacks.

This Pact is good at AoE damage and can automatically retaliate against attackers with a burst of fire damage.

Mora’s Hand Arcanics

Mora’s Hand has access to the following Arcanics:

  • Ignus Wroth – Deal fire damage in an area of effect (AoE).
  • Ember – When Ember is active, attacks made against you will trigger a fire-based counterattack.
  • Inferno – Launch an arc of flames at the target, dealing damage and knocking them down.

How to Unlock Mora’s Hand

Mora’s Hand is granted as a reward when reaching Rank 5 of the Kith of Kings Faction. If you have already chosen a different reward for that tier, it can then be purchased from the Kith of Kings favours shop for an additional 4,000 Faction Standing (this still requires you to be Rank 5 in the Kith of Kings).

After purchasing Mora’s Hand, you can craft it with the help of Tuvalkane in Nightfold.

Bromius

Bromius is a primarily Courage-attuned Pact that can steal armour from enemies, immobilise foes and perform mighty staggering AoE attacks.

This Pact treads the middle ground between a support tank and a melee damage dealer. It can hold its own very well in any fight, but players should be cautious when using Bromius’ Arcanics, all of which have long and clunky animations that cannot be interrupted, leaving you vulnerable to attacks.

Bromius Arcanics

Bromius can use the following Arcanics:

  • Rump Thump – Jump in the air and crash back to earth, dealing AoE damage and staggering those around you.
  • Wevetroot – Roots immobilise and stun enemies in front of you, dealing light damage over time.
  • Song of Growth – Boosts the armour of you and nearby party members.

How to Unlock Bromius

Bromius is unlocked as a reward for completing the Waste Bear Fable. Once unlocked, you can visit Tuvalkane to craft the pact.

I hope you found this list of Pacts (Classes) in Soulframe useful. The list will continue to be updated as the game changes in the run-up to launch.
