How to Farm Sollant in Throne & Liberty
Below are a variety of different methods for farming Sollant in Throne and Liberty. Depending on your personality and playstyle you might want to focus on only one of these or get involved with all of them so that you have plenty of sources of wealth in Throne and Liberty.
Codex Quests
The simplest and most accessible method of farming Sollant, but nevertheless a good source of money for newer players. Completing Codex Quests rewards players with a decent amount of Sollant. This includes main story quests, zone completion quests, exploration quests and daily quests.
World Events
World Events will often appear in Throne and Liberty. They encourage players from far and wide to gather in a location and complete a certain task, usually killing monsters in a designated area. There are also PvP versions of these events where you are instead required to hunt down other players.
We recommend avoiding the PvP events as it is always a zergfest and you won’t have any chance of surviving solo.
World Bosses
There are many World Bosses to be found and fought throughout the world of Throne and Liberty. These typically require multiple players to take on, so you might want to go with a group of friends or guildies, or you can roam solo and cycle between the most populated World Boss spawns.
World Bosses tend to drop some pretty nice rewards, including Sollant and possibly some other items that you can sell to NPC vendors or other players.
Archbosses
Archbosses follow the same principle as World Bosses and work in largely the same way, too. The difference is that Archbosses are PvP-enabled, so you are taking a greater risk for potentially greater rewards.
Archbosses are also the most difficult bosses in the game and they often only spawn once a week. The whole server will likely be there for the unique drops they provide.
Tax Delivery
Tax Delivery is a PvP Event that happens in between Sieges. The defending team protects tax money being delivered to a castle, while the attacking team tries to seize the coin for themselves. Participate in Tax Delivery events for a share of the spoils.
Contracts
All zones in Throne & Liberty will have Contracts associated with them. These are special quests that give you extra objectives to fulfill, and completing them rewards you with a decent chunk of Sollant. If you have a high-level character then you can complete contracts in higher-level zones, which yields a greater amount of Sollant.
Contract Vendors can be found in the following towns:
- Kastleton
- Starlight Observatory Ruins
- Watcher’s Post
- Tower of Purification
- Sanctuary Excavation Site
- Vienta Village
- Canina Village
Speak to a Contract Village to view and accept Contracts. You can take up to five at a time, and are limited to 10 Contracts per day.
You can filter the Contract Manager in the Throne and Liberty Map to find their exact locations.
It is advised to stack up several Contracts in the same zone whenever possible. This allows you to work towards multiple Contracts at once, considerably increasing the speed with which you earn Sollant rewards from completing the Contracts.
Guild Benefits
If you are a member of a guild, you can receive the Guild Blessing: Sollant on a monthly or weekly basis, which provides you with a steady source of income. The amount and frequency of this Sollant payout depend on the guild’s level – higher-level guilds will provide you with more.
It is strongly recommended to join a Guild as soon as possible in your Throne & Liberty journey. A lot of the game’s mechanics involve guild play to some degree, and you are missing out on a lot of potential rewards if you do not join a guild.
Flip Lucent to Sollant
The endgame currency of Throne & Liberty is called Lucent, and it allows you to purchase items from the Special Shop and Marketplace.
You might think that you would never want to trade an end-game currency for regular Sollant. However, many players are finding that they have an abundance of Lucent and not enough Sollant, due to the huge amounts of Sollant required to level up your Growth Stones and Skills when progressing your character.
If you also run into this problem, then there is a way to swap Lucent for significant quantities of Gold. To do this, go to the Marketplace and purchase Precious Marinds. These can then be sold to NPC vendors in return for 430,000 gold, which is a pretty nice payoff.
Note that you don’t necessarily have to spend any Lucent to utilize this method – you will sometimes earn Precious Marinds by completing in-game events, and these can be sold to NPCs in the same way.
Best Weapons/Class for Farming Sollant in Throne & Liberty
The best all-around class weapon/class setup for farming Sollant is to combine the Staff with the Wand & Tome. This setup gives you lots of AOE damage which is perfect for taking out many enemies at once, speeding up the process of farming Sollant.
If your primary method of farming is defeating bosses then you may instead prefer to use a setup like Daggers & Bow, which has high single-target damage. Visit the Throne and Liberty Builds page for a full list of all builds.
