What Are Ancestor Modules?
Ancestor Modules are a special type of upgrade that can dramatically boost your Descendant’s performance. You can hold up to 70 Ancestor Modules starting from Mastery Rank 1, and from Mastery Rank 11 onward, your capacity increases by 1 per rank.
Each Ancestor Module Loot contains one random module out of 21 possible types.
Where to Get Ancestor Modules
You can earn Ancestor Module Loot through several in-game activities. When obtained, the loot opens immediately to reveal one of the 21 module types.
1. Supermassive Receptor Weekly Bonus
- Reward: 1 Ancestor Module per bonus
- Limit: Up to 10 per week
- Tip: Complete your weekly Supermassive missions early in the week to maximize your bonus count before reset.
2. Dimensional Energy Stabilization Reading (Daily Reward)
- Reward: 1 Ancestor Module per day
- Tip: Make sure to complete this activity daily. This is the most consistent source of Ancestor Modules over time.
3. High-Risk Difficulty Sigma Sector (Daily Bonus Zone)
- Reward: 1 Ancestor Module for completing “Today’s Bonus” zone
- Tip: Check which Sigma Sector has the bonus each day and complete it for a guaranteed module.
4. Quality Certified ETA Voucher Shop
- Reward: Purchase up to 5 Ancestor Modules per week
- Tip: Save up your ETA Vouchers and prioritize buying Ancestor Modules before other consumables.
5. Dimensional Breach Colossus (Axion Plains – Wall Crasher)
- Reward: Chance to drop an Ancestor Module upon defeat
- Tip: Bring a high DPS party to clear the Colossus quickly. Since it’s a chance-based drop, this is best for players looking to grind extra modules beyond daily and weekly caps.
