ESO Update 49 launches March 9, 2026 as the first simultaneous PC and console release in Elder Scrolls Online history. This base game patch delivers the Dragonknight class and Two-Handed weapon combat refresh, over 20 quality-of-life improvements including free respecs, mounts for gold, account-wide outfit slots and reduced bag and bank costs.
Update 49 also adds the Warden class, Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood to the base game for free. The patch lays the groundwork for Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk, which begins April 2 with Tamriel Tomes, the Gold Coast Bazaar and the Night Market event zone arriving on a staggered schedule through July 2026.
