Almost everything in ESO can be played solo with the exception of 12 player Trials and some of the more difficult veteran hardmode dungeons. I do recommend checking out the Can you play ESO Solo Guide which goes into detail what you can do as a solo player in ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). ESO is one of the most solo friendly MMOs out there currently. The main focus of ESO is the story content which can be played solo. Of course, if you wish you can also bring a buddy along with you.
