ESO Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk is The Elder Scrolls Online’s first seasonal content release, running from April 2 through July 8, 2026. Season Zero replaces the traditional Chapter model with a three-month cycle of free gameplay content built on top of the Update 49 base game patch.
Season Zero introduces the Tamriel Tomes battle pass, the Gold Coast Bazaar Trade Bar storefront, the Night Market event zone in Fargrave and the Dragonknight and Two-Handed combat refresh.
It also adds Challenge Difficulty for overland content, the Vengeance PvP progression system, a Werewolf visual overhaul and 20+ player experience improvements. Four classic DLCs and the Warden class are now base game. All gameplay content in Season Zero is free.
