In this guide, we will explain how to farm Weapons quickly in TFD. Weapon Farming is an important strategy for progressing your character in TFD – the more weapons you earn, the more chance you have of finding weapons with good stats and weapons with higher rarity, including powerful Ultimate Weapons. You can also break down the unwanted weapons for parts, or combine weapons together to create upgraded versions. Without further delay, let’s get into the best way to farm weapons in TFD.
The First Descendant Fast Weapon Farm Guide
An important prerequisite to be able to use this method is to complete most of the main storyline (you need to have the Vespers area unlocked), and your character level should be at least 36.
Once you’re at that point, there is a mission you can farm that is quick and tends to drop a decent amount of high-quality weapons, along with other items such as Reactors and Components. There will also be lower-tier drops, of course, but you’re usually going to find an above-average amount of strong items mixed in with them.
In the Vespers area of the map, find the mission called Shelter Sweep Operation.
This map in The First Descendant is ideal for farming because it only takes around 5-10 minutes to complete. You can farm it solo if you’re comfortable with the game, otherwise you can take a friend to help you.
The standard enemies will drop a large amount of lower-quality items – you should still loot these because they can be broken down into crafting components or used to upgrade other items that you do want to keep.
However, when the elite enemies begin to appear, you should start to see higher-quality loot being dropped.
All you have to do is keep replaying the mission, making sure to defeat all of the elite enemies each time for the high-quality drops. You should get plenty of Rare items, including weapons with good stats and great DPS ratings.
