The ESO Gold Coast Bazaar is a new in-game storefront in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) where you spend Trade Bars to buy collectibles, mounts, pets, outfits and gameplay items that were previously locked behind limited-time events and promotions.

If you missed a reward from Golden Pursuits, a Twitch Drop or an old Daily Login cycle, the Bazaar is where those items come back.

What Is the ESO Gold Coast Bazaar?

ESO Gold Coast Bazaar tab location in the Crown Store interface

The ESO Gold Coast Bazaar is found in the Crown Store UI.

The Gold Coast Bazaar is a new in-game storefront in The Elder Scrolls Online that gives you a way to earn collectibles and limited-time rewards through normal gameplay.

Throughout ESO’s history, hundreds of unique rewards were introduced through in-game events, special promotions and limited-time releases. If you missed them, they were often impossible to get again or came back unpredictably. The Bazaar brings those items back in one consolidated store.

Quick Facts about the Gold Coast Bazaar:

  • Found in the Crown Store UI as its own dedicated tab, not a physical in-game location
  • Items rotate with each Season (roughly every three months). Some items are permanent, others are seasonal
  • All items purchased with Trade Bars, a currency that cannot be bought with Crowns
  • All purchases are account bound and cannot be gifted

What the Bazaar is designed to fix:

  • Rare collectibles disappearing after limited-time events with no predictable return window
  • External promotions like Twitch Drops and Prime Gaming excluded players who couldn’t participate
  • Daily Login and Golden Pursuit rewards had no second-chance system
  • Event Ticket caps created FOMO on both rewards and earning them

Item types you can acquire from the Bazaar:

  • Past Golden Pursuit Spotlights
  • Old Daily Login rewards
  • External promotions (Twitch Drops, Amazon Prime)
  • Previous ESO Plus free monthly items

Despite the name, the Bazaar has no in-game presence yet. During PTS feedback, ZOS confirmed they are interested in adding a physical version of the Bazaar in Anvil at some point in the future, but nothing has been announced.

Gold Coast Bazaar Categories

The Gold Coast Bazaar inventory is split into two categories that determine how long items stay available. The Seasonal section refreshes with each new Season while Gold Coast Wares remain available long-term. Previous ESO Plus monthly free items still require an active membership to purchase.

Seasonal Items

A rotating selection of cosmetics and items that refreshes with each Season. ZOS has confirmed that seasonal items may return in future rotations, so there is less pressure to buy everything before the current Season ends.

Season Zero Examples:

Mara’s Spring Chicken is one of the seasonal rewards in the Gold Coast Bazaar.

At the Season Zero launch, approximately 100 collectibles are available across both sections. These include mounts, pets, outfits, skill styles, player homes, furnishings, consumables and gameplay items.

Category Availability Examples
Seasonal Rotates each Season Morthal Jarl Finery, Dragon’s Treasure Trove, Mara’s Spring Chicken
Gold Coast Wares Permanent Grand Gallery of Tamriel, Dibella’s Exaltation, Outfit Tokens
Event items Tied to active events Jester’s Festival fragments
ESO Plus returning Membership required Painting: The Gates of Brass, Statuette: Sithis, Dread Lord

Some items previously found in Crown Crates have appeared in the Bazaar. ZOS has not made a blanket statement about crate items but the presence of former crate rewards suggests more may appear in future Seasons.

How to Earn Trade Bars in ESO

ESO Trade Bars are visible in the Currency tab

There are multiple ways to earn Trade Bars in the Elder Scrolls Online. Events is just one way to earn Trade Bars that have no cap, never expire and cannot be purchased with Crowns.

Tamriel Tomes (primary source)

ESO Tamriel Tome interface showing Trade Bars as a claimable reward

ESO Trade Bars are one of the rewards you claim from Tamriel Tome pages.

The Tamriel Tome (battle pass) is the most consistent source of Trade Bars.

  • Free track rewards Trade Bars each Season
  • Paid Tome tracks provide additional Trade Bars on top of the free track

In-Game Events

ESO Jubilee Cake 2026 awarding 300 Trade Bars to a player

Eating the 2026 ESO Jubilee Cake awards 300 Trade Bars per day.

All ESO events now award Trade Bars instead of Event Tickets.

  • Daily activities give 100-300 Trade Bars (same ratio as the old ticket system)
  • As an example, eating the 2026 Anniversary Jubilee Cake awards 300 Trade Bars per day
  • The ratio matches the old system: a daily activity that previously gave 3 Event Tickets now gives 300 Trade Bars. The 2026 Anniversary Jubilee Cake awards 300 Trade Bars per day. Every seasonal event follows this pattern.

PvP Veterancy Track

Trade Bars are earned through the PvP Veterancy progression system introduced sometime late in Season Zero. Full earning rates have not been confirmed yet.

Where to Spend Trade Bars in ESO

There are two ways to spend your Trade Bars in the Elder Scrolls Online. The Bazaar handles returning collectibles while the event merchants focus on current and past event rewards.

ESO Trade Bars vs Tome Points

ESO currency tab showing Tome Points vs Trade Bars

ESO Tome Points and Trade Bars are separate currencies in the currency tab.

These two currencies both come from the Tamriel Tome system but they do completely different things and are often confused.

  • Tome Points: Earned from Tome Challenges. Spent inside the Tamriel Tome to unlock pages and claim rewards.
  • Trade Bars: Claimed from Tamriel Tomes and from events and PvP. Spent at the Gold Coast Bazaar and event merchants.

Currency Earned Spent
Tome Points Completing Challenges in the Tamriel Tome Inside the Tamriel Tome to unlock rewards

  • In-Game Events: Event Activity → Trade Bars → spend at Gold Coast Bazaar and Event Merchants
  • PvP Veterancy: Unknown → Trade Bars → spend at Gold Coast Bazaar and Event Merchants
