Destiny 2‘s Act 2 of Episode: Echoes has released and it brought us 2 new craftable weapons. Destiny 2’s Corrasion is a Heavy Burst Arc Pulse Rifle for the Energy Slot.

Corrasion hasn’t received as much hype over its release as the other craftable weapon introduced in Act 2, the Aberrant Action but it’s not to be looked down on as it has its own fair share of ad clear capability with its fast reloads and ability to apply Jolt.

How to get Corrasion in Destiny 2

Acquiring Corrasion requires you to purchase Episode: Echoes in Destiny 2. You can acquire the weapon through random drops in the seasonal activities within Episode: Echoes. This includes rewards during the main story, Breach Executable and Battlegrounds: Delve/Conduit/Core.

You can also focus Echo Engrams for a chance to get the weapon.

How to Craft Corrasion in Destiny 2

You do not need to purchase The Witch Queen expansion for crafting in Destiny 2.

Aberrant Action can be crafted by acquiring 5 red border versions of the weapon which are randomly dropped, weekly Deepsight weapon focusing after completing the Specimen ID: NES005 quest, or by applying 5 Deepsight Harmonizers to copies of the weapon.

Masterwork

  • Reload Speed: Faster reloads which is the goal for this weapon.

Column 3

  • Air Trigger: We’re taking this for the increased reload speed while airborne, accuracy is also improved while airborne.
  • High-Impact Reserves: Rounds at the end of the magazine deal more damage. We can take this due to the low magazine.
  • Eddy Current: Reload speed and handling is improved after sprinting or while amplified, greater effect while amplified.

Column 4

  • Voltshot: Jolts enemies on your next hit after you kill and reload.

Recommended Combinations

  • High-Impact Reserves + Voltshot
Pretty simple setup, just keep shooting and applying Jolt through Voltshot.
  • Air Trigger/Eddy Current + Voltshot
Air Trigger significantly increases the reload speed of the weapon so you can apply Voltshot even more. The downside to this is you need to get used to jumping a lot to proc Air Trigger. Alternatively, you can use Eddy Current in place of Air Trigger if you’re not used to jumping all the time.

Conclusion of Corrasion in Destiny 2

Destiny 2’s Corrasion is a rather slept on weapon but is great for ad clear and applying Jolt repeatedly with the quick reload speed capacity.
