Brant has a reputation as an honest and righteous man and is the captain of the palace guard. He has recently been demoted from the royal court for openly opposing Queen Regent Disa’s actions, and her scheme to install her son Sven to the throne, rather than the true Arisen.
His primary concern is the best interests of Vermund, and therefore he offers his cooperation to the Arisen.
