The Vegeta Starter Deck is one of the first four Starter Decks that are available for the Dragon Ball Super Fusion World card game at launch.

Vegeta Starter Deck Guide – DBS Fusion World TCG
The Dragon Ball Super Fusion World FS02 Begeta Starter Deck has Vegeta as the leader of the deck. Vegeta starts out with a Power level of 15000. When he attacks you can draw a card for free. Once Vegeta drops to four or below four lives you can awaken him and draw another card for free. Once Awakaned Vegeta takes over after you flipped your card, he has his Power level increased to 20000. Additionally, you can once per turn activate his special effect that grants you +15000 Power when you have seven or fewer cards in your hand. This effect stays until the end of your turn.
This is a starter deck and therefore it won’t be super optimized since you only have four Super Rare cards and all others are of Common rarity. However, you can view our Fusion World Deck List to get information on more optimized Fusion World Decks.

Vegeta Starter Deck Guide for Dragon Ball Super Fusion World Card Game
Dragon Ball Super Fusion World offers a lot of card variety and therefore the game can be quite complex. However, the Vegeta Starter Deck is a good deck to start playing with against other players who also fight with starter decks. The Dragon Ball Starter Decks are here to get a hang of the gameplay and the most important mechanics while not completely frying your neurons because of too many mechanics.

Let’s take a look at a few of the more important cards of the Vegeta Starter Deck FS02.
Vegeta and Awakened Vegeta
Normal Vegeta FS02-01 has a Power level of 15000. This is fairly average for Leaders. You have to try to attack every turn with Vegeta FS02-01 because he gets to draw an extra card by simply attacking. That means even if your attack won’t do anything you should still try to attack for the extra card. Oncve you drop to four or below four lives you can awaken him. Awakened Vegeta FS02-01 has a Power level of 20000 and you still get to draw an extra card when you attack with him.
However, now Vegeta has a powerful special effect that will power him up immensely. Once per turn you can activate the effect to gain an extra +15000 Power if you have seven or less than seven cards in your hand. And this effect stays until the end of your turn. If you have too many cards in your hand you can use a few of the cards as combo to get rid of some cards so you are at seven or below seven cards in your hand. Now with 35000 Power Awakened Vegeta FS02-01 will dish out some real damage!
Gotenks
Gotenks FS02-03 is one of the two Super Rare cards in the Vegeta Starter Deck FS02. This is a card that becomes important during mid game due to its costs of 4. It has a Power level of 25000. When you play the card and you have seven or fewer cards in your hand you also get to recover one Son Goten FS02-05 and one Trunks: Youth FS02-09 from your drop to your hand. Therefore try to make sure to have played Son Goten or Trunks: Youth before hand. If there are none in your drop you won’t be able to retrieve them. While these cards might not be super powerful they make great additional power for combos.
Vegeta
The second Super Rare card in the Starter Deck is Vegeta FS02-13. Vegeta has a Power level of 35000. He also deals double damage on the opponent’s life with his Double Strike effect. Additionally, he has an “On Play” effect that lets him choose up to one of the opponent’s Battle Cards with a cost of four or less and place it at the bottom of it’s owner’s deck.
You want to make sure to keep this card alive as long as possible and the opponent will certainly target it because of the “Double Strike” effect. If you are certain you can attack the Leader successfully then make sure to go all in and you will take away two lives with one attack.
Gotenks
Gotenks FS02-02 doesn’t have any effects but for a cost of three he packs a good punch woth 25000 Power. Plus he also has 10000 combo power.
Son Goku
Son Goku FS02-04 is another card that packs a good punch with a Power level of 30000 for a cost of 4.
Son Gohan: Adolescence
Now we get to another great card in the Vegeta Starter Deck FS02. Son Gohan: Adolescence FS02-07 costs three Energy to play and he has a Power level of 20000. However, during your turn he gets an additional +15000 Power if you have seven or less than seven cards in your hand. This will place a lot of pressure on the enemy since you can play this card early already with a cost of only three.
Trunks: Youth
Trunks: Youth FS02-09 is an early game card that also gets extra power if you have seven or less cards in your hand. The “On Play” effect can be useful at times if you are close to awakening your Leader. Often opponent’s will drop you to five lives so you can’t awaken yet. With this “On Play” effect you can drop yourself to four lives and then awaken Vegeta to make him a lot more powerful! The 10000 combo Power is also a nice to have backup.
Videl
Videl FS02-10 is another useful card in the Fusion World Vegeta Starter Deck. You don’t place this card on the battle field. This is only used as a combo while defending from an attack of your opponent. It has a standard 10000 combo power. But if you use it during the defending phase when your opponent attacks it provides another 10000 combo power, putting it at a total of 20000 combo power.
Bulma
Bulma FS02-12 is your only Blocker card in this Starter Deck. You can use her to block an incoming attack from the opponent. She also has 10000 combo Power.
Galick Gun
Galick Gun FS02-15 is an Extra card. This allows you to boost your Leader or one of your Battle Cards with an extra +15000 Power. So for example you could get Awakened Vegeta FS02-01 to a Power level of 50000! And you also get to draw an extra card if you have seven or less than seven cards in your hand.
Final Flash
Final Flash FS02-16 is the second Extra card in the Vegeta Starter Deck FS02. With this Extra you can choose up to one of your opponent’s Battle Cards with a cost of five or less and place it at the bottom of its owner’s deck. This allows you to get rid of stronger characters easily if needed.
