Welcome to the How to Get Keys in Crimson Desert Guide. Keys are valuable items used to unlock doors. At the beginning of the game, it may not be clear how to get keys.
Keys can be bought from Back Alley Shops or they can be found lying around on tables or shelves.
Buy Keys From The Back Alley Shop
Close to the Hernand Town you can find a Black Alley Shop that sells shady stuff. That vendor also sells keys, it is recommended to buy all of them. The stock also refreshes after a while. This is the easiest way to get keys fast if you need some.
Note: You can also buy the Mask that allows criminal behavior at the Back Alley Shop.
Keys On Tables or Shelves
Sometimes keys can also be found on tables or shelves. You might have to steal them, though.
Avoid Wasting Keys in Crimson Desert
It often happens that you run into a locked door and use up one of your precious keys by accident. To avoid this:
- Take out your lantern.
- Walk towards the door.
- If it’s locked, it won’t open, but you won’t waste a key because your lantern is active.
